In regards to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, I play three types of decks: a Redox Grandsoil Psychic Deck, Quasar Synchron, and a Tempest Dragunity Deck. My favorite anime: Yu-Gi-Oh! series, but mostly 5Ds and ZEXAL the most. Recently, I also got hooked to Genesis of Aquarion and its sequel Aquarion Evol, as well as A Certain Magical Index. My favorite manga: Pokemon Adventures/Special. My favorite game: Pokemon, Metal Slug, any platformer or Role-playing game I get my hands on. My favorite PokeSpe shippings: 1) FranticShipping (Ruby & Sapphire) 2) CommonerShipping (Diamond & Platinum) 3) AgencyShipping (Black & White) 4) SpecialShipping (Red & Yellow) 5) MangaquestShipping (Gold & Crystal) 6) OldrivalShipping (Blue & Green) My top 3 favorite PokeSpe characters: 1) Emerald (FTW!! Sorry Wally fans. XD) 2) Diamond (I like it when he delivers the puns.) 3) Black (Hot-blooded incarnate) The PokéWorld Crisis series This is my fanfic univerese where my fanfics Crisis on Two PokéWorlds and its sequel Crisis Cross-PokéWorlds are situated in. This is mostly a crossover series between the Pokemon anime and Pokemon Special manga. This series consists of two arcs: 1) Crisis on Two PokéWorlds and 2) Crisis Cross-PokéWorlds. Behind the scenes: I got the inspiration for the The PokéWorld Crisis series from a long series of events starting with the long, forgotten post in the MangaFox PokeSpe forum that's called What if. . . the Characters from PokeSe meets the Anime? After I read the post, I was amused by the funniness of the post that much that I often imagine that the PokeDex Owners would meet up with Ash and co. And that was just the beginning. Second, I found this site and searched if there are any PokeSpe/Anime crossovers; and sure enough, I found PokeSpe meets Anime and read it. Although it had many flaws, it was a good parody and it's one of the progenitors for my own story. And then I read Ballpoint Angel's Pokemon Special: the Origin of Manaphy, where I was impressed by the characterizations. Furthermore,I've read another PokeSpe/Anime Xover called Overcoming the Clashing Tides; although it was a very good story, I was rather disappointed that it had OCs as main characters; I thought that the main characters are Ash & co. and the PokeDex Owners but I was wrong. Nevertheless, that story was the spark that made me write a PokeSpe/Anime Xover of my own, one that had PokeDex Owners with Ash & co. as the main characters. And thus, the PokéWorld Crisis series has been created and the rest is history. Sequel series: Crisis Cross-PokéWorlds I know it's still too early for this but I just have to post it: Although I'm halfway writing Crisis on Two PokéWorlds, I will be writing this sequel; this will take place roughly 3 months after the original story and the antagonists around will be the evil counterparts of the PokéDex Owners/Holders from an alternate PokéWorld. Other current project(s): A Certain Duelist's Dream: A To Aru Majutsu no Index/ YuGiOh three-shot crossvoer. It's now complete, and I'm planning to write a three-shot sequel; this time, it will feature GREMLIN as one of the two antagonists. The initial title will be: A Certain Duelist's Dream 2: The Nightmare of GREMLIN. Insights on the fanfic series “A Certain Duelist’s Dream” In this segment, I’ll talk behind the scenes on this fanfic series: Around 2 years ago, I received a set of YuGiOh Psychic-Type monsters as a Christmas gift. Since then, I learned how the Psychics work and it became my favorite deck whether be online or in real life. A few months later, I got hooked to “A Certain Magical Index” and by chance I compared the Index characters with the Psychic-Type monsters and found out that many of them have a lot in common. With this spark of inspiration, I wrote the first fanfic of the series under the title, “A Certain Duelist’s Dream”. I wanted this side-story to be inter-related with my main fanfic “Crisis on Two PokéWorlds” because “A Certain Duelist’s Dream” mostly focuses on the Original Character Motor-mouth and his development as a character. This development will be reflected on the future chapters of “Crisis on Two PokéWorlds”. Here are the characters of “A Certain Magical Index” with their appearances as Duel Monster cards and the reason of their appearance: Touma Kamijou - Silent Psychic Wizard Although for some readers, this isn’t the appropriate card for Kamijou, I need Kamijou in a humanoid and an easy-to-summon monster. In the card game, there are only two cards that can be easily summoned and whose effects are similar to Touma’s Imagine Breaker. They are: Shooting Star Dragon and Light & Darkness Dragon; and these monsters are hard to summon. Index - Effect Veiler The reason Index appears as Effect Veiler is quite obvious. Both are spellcasters, both have similar hair style and hair color, and Effect Veiler negates the opponent’s monster effects while Index has Spell Intercept. Mikoto Misaka - Magical Android After some time, I decided to make Mikoto a Synchro Monster. Well, she and her ability could not fit in the other Psychic-Type monsters, except for Telekinetic Shocker. Anyway, I chose her to be Magical Android because the Synchro Monster is Level 5, like Mikoto’s esper level, and a good ability that recovers life points at the End Phase. It’s been known that electric impulses can stimulate muscles; it’s known as “Electrical muscle stimulation”. Kuroko Shirai - Serene Psychic Witch I chose Kuroko to be Serene Psychic Witch because the she and the card have a lot in common. Both have red hair with matching eyes; they also sport twintails, and Kuroko is a level 4 Teleporter while Serene Psychic Witch may be level 3 but she can be summoned using Emergency Teleport. Accelerator -Hushed Psychic Cleric This wasn’t easy for me to visualize Accelerator as Hushed Psychic Cleric. But both of them have something in common; both have white hair, and Cleric has absurdly high defense, and Accelerator can reflect attacks using Vector Change. Last Order - Esper Girl Visualizing Last Order as Esper Girl was really easy. If you compare Last Order with Esper Girl, they somewhat resemble one another. Last Order is the command center for the MISAKA network while Esper Girl is a tuner monster with a decent effect that essentially lets you draw a card when Esper Girl is special summoned from the banished zone. Misaki Shokuhou - Mental Seeker I chose Shokuhou Misaki to play the role as "Mental Seeker". The effect of Mental Seeker is like mind reading: when Mental Seeker is special summoned from the banished zone: reveal the top three cards of your opponent's deck, banish one of them, and then return the rest to the deck. It's like selecting three memories, erasing one of them, and then leaving the two memories unchanged. That's what Shokuhou Misaki can do due to being the #5 Level 5 with the ability "Mental Out." Mugino Shizuri - T.G. Warwolf It wasn’t easy at first, but I managed to find similarities between Mugino and T.G. Warwolf. Both somehow lost their left arm and right eye. T.G. Warwolf looks menacing in its artwork, and may heaven help you if Mugino is enraged. Stiyl Magnus - Flamvell Uruquizas I chose Stiyl to be in the form of this Synchro Monster because Uruquizas is easy to summon and the attribute of Uruquizas is fire; Stiyl is a fire magician. Motoharu Tsuchimikado – Psychic Jumper I chose Motoharu Tsuchimikado to play the role as Psychic Jumper because of the appearances, character and effects. Motoharu Tsuchimikado is a backstabbing spy for different factions; Psychic Jumper can switch control of one other Psychic monster you control with your opponent’s monster at the cost of 1000 Life Points. Misaka 10032 – Formula Synchron The reason why I chose to take form of Formula Synchron is to work with Hyouka Kazakiri, which is explained below. Hyouka Kazakiri – Stardust Dragon/Shooting Star Dragon I chose Hyouka Kazakiri as Stardust Dragon because each of them is somewhat similar in their characters and effects. This is more obvious when you compared Shooting Star Dragon with Hyouka in her Fuse=KAZAKIRI mode. That’s it for now; in the future chapters I’ll post more characters and the reason for their appearances. |
