Hello, it's me PokeRescue18! This is the long-awaited part two of the Electrifyingly Epic Tag Duel! I apologize for the delay; I need to thoroughly research on each of the effects of the OCG/TCG cards due to the errors present in the previous chapter.

Please, enjoy reading this fanfic. I've worked through the errors that I can possibly find and thought hard just to make this chapter possible!

Also, I would like to thank MrQuestionMark (Known for his story: A Certain Unknown Level 0) for his ideas on this chapter. This chapter could've remained in Development Hell if it wasn't for him.

In case I forgot, I don't own YuGiOh series in general or A Certain Magical Index / To Aru Majutsu no Index. Now, let the story begin!

Music/Song I listened while writing this chapter: Pray by Tommy Heavenly6.

On the previous chapter of A Certain Duelist's Personal Reality . . .

"We've been bested," Revelry muttered. "These girls know how their cards would work."

"Don't say that it's over!" Isaac snapped. "Look at your hand. Do you see some of the card that can work for you?"

Revelry looked at her five cards and her blue eyes widened. Just as Isaac said, the cards in her hand would allow her to do a devastating combo that will pull the advantage to their favor once again. All she has to do was to close her eyes and hoped that the card that she will draw will be the one that will complete the combo. . .

"The tag duel has become a lot more interesting."

Those were the words that left the mouth of an enigmatic magician by the name of Aleister Crowley. Then, the profiles of two particular people appeared on his visual screen.

"Isaac Spanner and Revelry Scooper . . . how will these duelists fare to the tournament I have in mind. . ."

Suddenly, the enigmatic magician noticed a fluctuation somewhere above Academy City. Immediately, a screen appeared in front of Aleister; it displayed a huge wormhole above Academy City. His eyes narrowed at the wormhole.

"This was not forseen," Aleister mused. "A wormhole on that calibre is certainly not from this world at all. . ."

Another screen appeared before the magician. Although the sensors have detected the wormhole, the wormhole was invisible to the naked eye; thus, the people of Academy City continued with their daily lives blissfully unaware of the massive wormhole that was above them.

"Hm, this is most unexpected," The great magician muttered. "I suppose I should adjust more of my plans once again. . ."

"I can't believe that their duel would go this far," Touma noted.

"Yeah Kami-yan, this shows how each of them determined to gain the upper hand," Tsuchimikado replied.

"What's more exciting to me is that I'm seeing many female archetypes in this duel!" Aogami exclaimed. "There's the tough-looking girl, a stoic girl, and her loli look-alike!"

Effect Veiler glared at Aogami the moment he uttered those words. She did not know Aogami well, but it was very apparent that the blue-haired boy had an obscene amount of fetishes. Heck, she even wondered that he would hit on any type of girl, including herself if given a chance. The moment after she thought about that, she began to shudder, trying to erase those thoughts out of her head and focused on the duel instead.

'Seriously, what's going on inside of that blue-haired boy?' Effect Veiler wondered. 'Nevermind; I don't really want to find out. Anyway, I just had this hunch that Esper Girl is a duel spirit just like me. I could persuade Touma to ask the boy after the duel . . .'

A Certain Duelist's Personal Reality

Chapter 4: Electrifyingly Epic Tag Duel II

Misaka 10032 and Last Order vs. Isaac and Revelry!

In the previous chapter, thee excitable dueling duo Isaac Spanner and Revelry Scooper proposed a tag duel against Misaka 10032 and Last Order. In this particular duel, each team share a field comprising of ten monster card zones and ten spell/trap zones. Now with the advantage regained by the Misaka sisters, how will our duo handle this incredible comeback?

Isaac/Revelry: 3200

Hand cards: (Isaac: 2) (Revelry: 5)

Cards in Field:

Isaac: 5 set cards and Psychic Snail

Revelry: 3 set cards and Mermail Abyssleed

Last Order/Misaka 10032: 4000

Hand cards: (Last Order: 4) (Misaka 10032: 4)

Cards in Field:

Last Order: 3 set cards

Misaka 10032: 4 set cards and Light End Dragon | ATK: 600 (Equipped with Vylon Prism and Twin Swords Tryce)

As for Revelry, this tag duel has certainly taken the turn for the worse. However, she looked at her cards in hand, and a smile formed in her lips; she was even more determined to take back the advantage using the very cards she drew from Morphing Jar.

"You're right, the duel is certainly not over until the last card is drawn," Revelry acknowledged. "It's my turn . . . I draw!"

"I activate the effect of Mermail Abyssteus from my hand!" Revelry showed the titular card. "I'll discard 1 WATER monster to special summon this card."

A titanic sea serpent appeared in the field, assuming a defensive stance. This particular monster was based on an armored predatory fish that once swam in the prehistoric seas of the Devonian era.

Mermail Abyssteus | Type: Aqua| Attribute: WATER | Lvl: 7 | Atk: 1700 | Def: 2400

"The monster I discarded with Abyssteus was Atlantean Dragoons," Revelry explained. "Its effect states when this card is sent to the Graveyard to activate a WATER monster's effect: I'll add 1 Sea Serpent-Type monster from my Deck to my hand, except 'Atlantean Dragoons'; I choose to add Deep Sea Diva."

Soon afterwards, Revelry re-examined her field; so far, she had Mermail Abyssleed and Mermail Abyssteus in her field. She now has the necessary requirements to summon one of her ace Mermail Xyz monsters.

"You know what you do Rev," Isaac said to her. "Give it a shot."

"Thanks," Revelry nodded. "I overlay Mermail Abyssleed and Mermail Abyssteus!"

Suddenly, a blue galaxy whirlpool appeared; Mermail Abyssleed and Mermail Abyssteus entered into the whirlpool to become the Xyz materials for the corresponding summon.

"The might of the supreme overlord of the deep ocean emanates great power! Descend from the Overlay Network and fight by my side!" Revelry chanted. "Xyz Summon! I call upon the great sea emperor, Mermail Abyssgaios!"

At last, the Xyz summon was finally complete; the galaxy-like gate imploded, and a new water monster rose from the collapsing gate. This particular Xyz monster resembled a water version of a centaur; humanoid body on the upper part, sea serpent body at the bottom. The great sea emperor twirled his harpoon before descending into Revelry's field. However, Misaka 10032 was preparing for a monster of this calibre.

Mermail Abyssgaios | Type: Aqua/Xyz | Attribute: WATER | Rank: 7 | Atk: 2800 | Def: 1600

"Misaka will not allow that monster to linger on the field, Misaka responds by activating the trap, Void Trap Hole. When Misaka's opponent special summons an effect monster with 2000 or more attack points: negate the effects of that monster and destroy it."

Suddenly, the ground beneath Mermail Abyssgaios became unstable, and it began to collapse. Mermail Abyssgaios tried to struggle, but the gravitational pull was too much, and he slowly fell to the dark void.

"Well, didn't see that coming," Tsuchimikado muttered.

Frustration was clearly present in Revelry's face when her Xyz monster was destroyed by the trap card.

"No, Abyssgaios!" Revelry exclaimed. "Darn it, she expected me to do that. But, I'm not done yet; I normal summon Deep Sea Diva."

The moment she placed the card onto her duel disk, a bright flash of bluish light emanated from the card. The sea serpent appeared in all her splendour, crossing her arms and appearing in front of her owner.

Deep Sea Diva| Type: Sea Serpent/Tuner | Attribute: WATER | Lvl: 2 | Atk: 200 | Def: 400

"I activate the effect of Deep Sea Diva," Revelry explained. "You see, when Deep Sea Diva is normal summoned: I can special summon 1 level 3 or lower Sea-serpent monster from my deck. Go, Atlantean Heavy Infantry!"

A peculiar sea warrior was summoned alongside Deep Sea Diva. It assumed a defensive position upon being special summoned.

Atlantean Heavy Infantry | Type: Sea Serpent | Attribute: WATER | Lvl: 2 | Atk: 0 | Def: 1600

"Atlantean Heavy Infantry allows me to conduct another normal summon of a level 4 or lower Sea-serpent monster," Revelry continued. "Therefore, I normal summon Atlantean Marksman."

Another sea serpent has appeared in Revelry's field. This one was particularly distinct from the other sea serpent monsters Revelry had summoned so far; it actually wielding a trident crossbow as it assumed its attacking position.

Atlantean Marksman | Type: Sea Serpent | Attribute: WATER | Lvl: 3 | Atk: 1400 | Def: 0

"This is for destroying Abyssgaios!" Revelry exclaimed. "I tune the level 2 Deep Sea Diva with the level 2 Atlantean Heavy Infantry and the level 3 Atlantean Marksman!"

Immediately, Deep Sea Diva began to disintegrate into a two green rings, with Atlantean Heavy Infantry and Atlantean Marksman dissociating into five stars.

"The freezing winds of the north will howl wildly to break the frozen mirror! Shatter and encrust your foes in a blanket of everlasting blizzard! Synchro Summon! Awaken, Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!"

Finally, the synchro summon was completed, and the water dragon named after a legendary weapon of Norse mythology descended into Revelry's field. This was one of her ace synchro monsters; the Dragon of the Ice Barrier let out a chilling roar as it assumed its battle position.

Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier | Type: Dragon/Synchro | Attribute: WATER | Lvl: 7 | Atk: 2500 | Def: 1700

"I activate a spell, Salvage!" Revelry continued. "This lets me target 2 WATER monsters with 1500 or less ATK in my Graveyard; add those targets to my hand. The targets are Atlantean Marksman and Atlantean Heavy Infantry."

"Why did she choose those monsters for?" Touma asked in bewilderment.

"Kami-yan, sometimes the best was to learn something is to watch," Tsuchimikado replied. "Plus, the girl knows what she's doing at this point."

"Now I've gathered all the pieces, I'll activate the effect of Gungnir!" Revelry declared. "Once per turn: I can discard up to 2 cards to the Graveyard to target the same number of cards my opponent controls and destroy them. Go; impale those cards with Cryo-Spear Strike!"

Gungnir extended its wings and flapped them, creating two huge icicles that were heading straight for Misaka 10032's Light End Dragon and one of Last Order's facedown cards.

"Misaka Misaka will protect our field at all costs! Misaka Misaka chains a quick-play spell, Forbidden Chalice! Misaka Misaka targets Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier; until the End Phase, the target gains 400 attack points, but its effects are negated!"

Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier | ATK: 2500 + 400 = 2900

The huge icicles shattered and dissipated when Forbidden Chalice took effect. However, Revelry wasn't disappointed at the slightest; in fact, she was waiting for something like this to happen anyway.

"Touché, but the effects of Atlantean Marksman and Atlantean Heavy Infantry activate!" Revelry retaliated. "When both cards are sent to the Graveyard to activate a WATER monster's effect: Atlantean Heavy Infantry destroys one face-up card while Atlantean Marksman destroys one set card. Altanteans, fire your weapons!"

Atlantean Heavy Infantry fired a salvo of torpedoes from its shields while Atlantean Marksman fired a trident from its crossbow. Once again, the targets were Light End Dragon and one of Misaka 10032's set cards, which was a trap card, Dimensional Prison. Both the synchro monster and the set card were destroyed. In response, Last Order began to frown after realizing that her efforts were in vain, yet Misaka 10032 remained stoic even through this.

"Way to go, Rev!" Isaac cheered. "You managed to pull through! I'm really proud of you!"

"Misaka truly did not expect the secondary effects of the Atlanteans, Misaka expresses her thoughts."

"Wah, this was not foreseen in Misaka Misaka's tactics! Misaka Misaka squeals in horror of her misplay!"

"Wow, that girl sure knows her cards," Aogami commented. "I wouldn't mind to duel her anytime!"

"Even if her monster's effect got negated, she made it sure that the effects of her Altanteans would pull through," Tsuchimikado noted. "Nyah, tis such a pity for their opponents though."

"Now for my retaliation," Revelry smirked. "I enter my Battle Phase. Gungnir, launch a direct attack with Absolute Zero Blast!"

Gungnir let out a chilling breath directed at Misaka 10032 and Last Order.

"You may have destroyed Light End Dragon, but Misaka will not let that attack go through, Misaka speaks her determination. Misaka activates a trap, Mirror Force! When a monster belonging to Misaka's opponent declares an attack: this trap will destroy all Attack Position monsters Misaka's opponent controls."

"I won't let my efforts be in vain!" Revelry retaliated. "I chain a quick-play spell, Forbidden Lance on Gungnir! Although Gungnir loses 800 ATK, the upside is that it is unaffected by the effects of other Spell or Trap Cards until the End Phase."

Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier | ATK: 2900 ≈ 2500 – 800 = 1700

A multi-colored barrier appeared in front of Misaka 10032 and Last Order. As the icicle projectiles passed through the barrier, the barrier emitted bright light that completely engulfed Revelry's Gungnir was unaffected due to Forbidden Lance; however, Isaac's Psychic Snail was destroyed by the trap card.

Damage Calculation: 2100 - 1500 = 600

Last Order/Misaka 10032: 4000 - 1700 = 2300

"Darn it, she's still standing," Revelry scoffed at Misaka 10032's counter play. "Well, I did what I could. I set my two remaining cards facedown and end my turn."

In conclusion, Revelry has five set card in her Spell/Trap zone. Also, Gungnir's attack points returned to normal.

Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier | ATK: 1700 ≈ 2500

"Finally, it's Misaka Misaka's turn! Misaka Misaka happily exclaims as she drew her fifth card."

As Last Order examined her drawn card, a smile formed on her lips as if she had found the very card she was hoping for.

"Misaka Misaka opens a trap card, Reckless Greed! Misaka Misaka draws 2 cards at the cost of skipping Misaka Misaka's next 2 Draw Phases!"

At the sidelines, Touma blinked the moment Last Order activated Reckless Greed. It was eerily similar to what he had done during his first duel with Index.

"Wait, why did she activate that card even if she knew the consequences?" Touma blurted.

"Who knows, Kami-yan?" Tsuchimikado shrugged. "Maybe she knew that she'd win on this turn."

Satisfied on her extra draw due to Reckless Greed, Last Order placed a card on her Spell/Trap zone to start her combo.

"Misaka Misaka activates a spell card, Battery Charger! By paying 500 life points, Misaka Misaka special summons 1 Batteryman monster from the Graveyard! Go, Batteryman AA!"

Last Order/Misaka 10032: 2300 - 500 = 1800

From Last Order's side of the field, a new Batteryman monster materialized. This particular Batteryman was primarily orange-red in color, and it sported an electrified scarf on its neck.

Batteryman AA | Type: Thunder | Attribute: LIGHT | Lvl: 3 | Atk: 0 | Def: 0

"Earlier in the duel, I saw that girl discarded Batteryman AA due to the effect of Morphing Jar," Isaac muttered. "Damn, this isn't good at all."

"What do you mean?" Revelry asked.

"If all Batteryman AAs are in attack or defense position, their ATK and DEF will respectively increase by 1000 points," Isaac explained. "As far as I know, there's only one practical way to get all three Batteryman AAs into the field all at once. . ."

"Now, Misaka Misaka activates a quick-play spell, Inferno Reckless Summon!"

The eyes of everyone aside from Last Order widened, but Isaac's expression remained unchanged, as if he saw the combo elsewhere.

"Inferno Reckless Summon?" Touma uttered. "I didn't know she had that card in her deck."

"Nya, this duel's gotten more fun to watch," Tsuchimikado grinned.

"Imagine as to what potential I can use that card in attracting girls of all types!" Aogami added. "Alas, it may be just a fantasy, but I'd give it a try!"

However, Misaka 10032 recognized what Last Order was planning and contemplated her strategy.

"Misaka is astonished that you were able to utilize that card, Misaka acknowledges your play."

"Nah, the fun has just started; Misaka Misaka explains the mechanics of Inferno Reckless Summon in a talkative manner. You see, Misaka Misaka can only activate this card when 1 monster with 1500 or less ATK is Special Summoned to Misaka Misaka's side of the field while the opponent controls at least 1 face-up monster."

Immediately, Last Order grabbed the two copies of Batteryman AA from her deck and put them on the monster card zone of her duel disk.

"Misaka Misaka will special summon all cards with the same name as the summoned monster from Misaka Misaka's hand, Deck, and Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. In exchange, Misaka Misaka's opponent targets 1 face-up monster they control and special summons all cards with that same name from their hand, Deck, and Graveyard. Since the only monster in the opponent's field is a synchro monster, they can't summon anything! Misaka Misaka proudly puffs her chest in pride!"

And thus, two more copies of Batteryman AA have been summoned; their attack power has been amplified to near legendary levels. This was rather evident by the constant stream of sparks that the Thunder-type monsters constantly emit, like what a certain third level 5 did when she gets irritated.

Batteryman AA (x3) | ATK: 3000

"Now, Misaka Misaka has the requirements to play the ultimate spell card for the Batteryman archetype!"

The instant she said those words, Isaac flinched a little; Revelry noticed and became concerned.

"Misaka Misaka activates a spell, Short Circuit! Misaka Misaka can only activate this card if Misaka Misaka controls 3 or more face-up "Batteryman" monsters. All cards the opponent controls will be instantly destroyed!"

Suddenly, the three Batterymen began to gather up their latent electrical energy in a form of a tightly packed sphere. The middle of the three Batterymen flung the sphere towards Isaac and Revelry's field.

"I won't let that happen!" Revelry snapped. "Counter trap open: Magic Drain! This counter trap negates the activation of their spell card, and destroys it. However, the opponent can discard 1 spell card to negate the effect of Magic Drain. So, what shall it be?"

Last Order truly did not expect Revelry to counter her spell card. As she examined her cards in hand, a frown formed on the little clone's face as she answered to Revelry.

"Misaka Misaka regretfully admits that she has no additional Spell Cards, Misaka Misaka pouts in disappointment."

Unable to pay for the cost of Magic Drain, the Short Circuit began to frizzle and the sound of cracking glass was heard. However, Misaka 10032 began to observe Revelry carefully, wondering why she only activated that counter trap card against Short Circuit.

'This is very strange, Misaka expresses her thoughts. The girl did not bother to negate the effects of Inferno Reckless Summon and instead opted to negate Short Circuit. Could it be that they're planning to destroy the three Batteryman AAs in a single blow? If that is the case, Misaka has already planned a countermeasure. . .'

"But, at least Misaka Misaka has three copies of Batteryman AA at her disposal! Misaka Misaka will now enter the Battle Phase with a renewed pride in winning! Misaka Misaka attacks Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier with one of the Batteryman AA!"

One of the Batteryman AA started to emit electrical energy in form of a spear. Then, the Thunder-type monster threw the spear at the Dragon of the Ice Barrier.

"Tch, that attack isn't gonna do a dent at all!" Revelry gritted her teeth. "I activate a trap, Radiant Mirror Force!"

"Radiant Mirror Force?" Touma blurted out. "Is that trap card similar to Mirror Force?"

"In a way, you're right, Kami-yan," Tsuchimikado agreed. "The differences between the two are in their activation requirements: Mirror Force just needs an opponent's monster to declare an attack, while Radiant Mirror Force ups the ante by adding one more requirement."

"And that is?" Touma raised one eyebrow.

"Kami-yan, the additional requirement is that the opponent controls 3 or more Attack Position monsters upon attack declaration, which is fulfilled by the three copies of Batteryman AA," Tsuchimikado answered. "But if you asked me, I'd rather prefer the regular Mirror Force over its 'Radiant' version."

Suddenly, Misaka 10032 narrowed her eyes, as if she was anticipating Revelry to activate such a card during this turn.

"Misaka has been waiting for that to happen, Misaka performs a countermeasure. Misaka retaliates with a counter trap, Trap Jammer. When Misaka's opponent activates a Trap Card during the Battle Phase: Trap Jammer will negate the activation of that trap card and destroy it."

With its effects negated, Radiant Mirror Force shattered like a pane of glass. Revelry had to face the fact that she would lose Gungnir on this Battle Phase. Yet, that was not the only thing she and Isaac had to worry about. . .

"Misaka Misaka will add more damage with this card! During either player's Damage Step, when a LIGHT monster you control battles: Misaka Misaka sends Honest from Misaka Misaka's hand to the Graveyard; that monster gains ATK equal to the ATK of the opponent's monster it is battling, until the End Phase."

"Ack, here we go again!" Isaac exclaimed. "This time, it's a pseudo-direct attack!"

After gaining the power boost, radiant wings manifested at the back of the attacking Batteryman AA, enhancing its electrical attacks even further. The Dragon of the Ice Barrier stood no chance and was utterly shocked into oblivion.

Batteryman AA | ATK: 3000 + 2500 = 5500

Damage Calculation: 5500 - 2500 = 3000

Isaac/Revelry: 3200 – 3000 = 200

"Arrgh!" Isaac and Revelry flinched as they received massive amounts of battle damage. This was the second time the effect of Honest was activated on this tag duel. With their life points dangerously low, Isaac and Revelry has passed the 'safety line' in duels. However, this wasn't over as Last Order still has two copies of Batteryman AA at her disposal.

"Misaka Misaka isn't done with her combo! Misaka Misaka ends the duel with a direct attack!"

The two remaining copies of Batteryman AA decided to combine their attacks as a final assault to the tag team of Isaac and Revelry. At the sidelines, Touma gripped the metal handlebars and gritted his teeth. Although this was the first time he saw all of them duel, he wasn't expecting for Isaac and Revelry to lose so swiftly.

"Isaac, you'd better do something," Revelry said to him. "Or else, we'll lose in a shocking manner!"

Isaac gripped the cards on his hand in acknowledgment to what Revelry said to him. Frankly, he had a card that could save them from such a decisive blow, and he was saving that card for this particular scenario.

"Yeah, I'm aware of the pun; in fact, I was expecting something like this to happen," Isaac countered. "I activate the effect of Swift Scarecrow from my hand! When my opponent's monster declares a direct attack: I discard Swift Scarecrow to negate that attack, and then end the Battle Phase!"

Suddenly, a makeshift scarecrow entered the battlefield; the lightning spear from Batteryman AA was forced to change its target from me to the scarecrow. As a result, the scarecrow served its purpose and thus, the team of Isaac and Revelry was able to survive the Battle Phase of this turn.

This drew the attention of everyone else in the arena, but it seemed both Misaka 10032 and Last Order were the most shocked among everyone else.

"Misaka truly did not see that coming, Misaka stoically expresses her frustration."

Meanwhile, Last Order was nearly in verge of crying. Her strategy on this turn was thwarted not only once, but twice! Her three remaining cards in hand were Batteryman Charger, Batteryman Fuel Cell, and Thunder King Rai-Oh; thus, she has little else to do on her Main Phase 2.

"Gah, the boy had that card in his hand at the worst possible moment! Misaka Misaka stomps the floor repeatedly after the delayed realization! Misaka Misaka ends her turn in a disappointing note."

Isaac and Revelry were pushed to their dueling limits. It has been some time since their life points brought down to dangerous levels. As he was about to draw his next card, Isaac could feel the pressure mounting.

"Ack, we've been pushed to the limit . . ." Isaac muttered.

"Don't say that!" Revelry encouraged. "Now, the next turn is up to you. Do whatever it takes."

Acknowledging Revelry's words, Isaac narrowed his eyes on the top card of his deck. Whatever card he was about to draw, it could make the difference between winning and losing. Finally, Isaac cleared all his remaining doubts and pulled the top card from the deck.

"It's my turn . . . Draw!"

Upon seeing the third drawn card, Isaac's eyes widened. Frankly, he was not expecting to draw this card in this duel at all; he looked at his Graveyard and a crazy idea formed in his mind; given their perilous situation, it seemed any desperate tactic was going to viable.

"I start by activating a spell card, Miracle Synchro Fusion!" Isaac played his card. "I shall banish 1 synchro monster and another monster to fusion summon from the Extra Deck-"

"Misaka will cut your plans short, Misaka says while opening a counter trap: Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell! Misaka discards 1 Spell Card such as Monster Reincarnation to negate the activation and the effect of Miracle Synchro Fusion and destroy it; in addition, Misaka's opponent cannot activate spell cards with that name during the rest of this Duel."

Suddenly, an eerily yellow magic circle began to encompass around Isaac's Miracle Synchro Fusion; Isaac grimaced as his last chance was intercepted by Misaka 10032's counter trap card.

"Damn it, that was our last resort," Isaac gritted his teeth. "We lost!"

"Isaac, do you really think that we'll just lose like that?" Revelry said aloud, in which Isaac listened to her. Then, she faced Misaka 10032 and replied. "I won't let that happen! I activate a counter trap, Solemn Judgment! Our life points are cut in half, but this counter trap will negate your Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell and destroy it!"

Isaac/Revelry: 200 / 2 = 100

With Solemn Judgment in play, the yellow magic circle began to dissipate and faded away. Hope began to fill Isaac's face as he was saved by Revelry's quick thinking.

"Thanks for save, Rev," Isaac smiled. "As I was saying, I'm fusing HTS Psyhemuth and Risebell the Star Adjuster!"

A swirling vortex appeared in my field; HTS Psyhemuth entered into the vortex and Risebell the Star Adjuster followed suit.

"As two psychic minds merge as one, this union will unlock a being of phenomenal psychic power! Fusion Summon! Descend, Ultimate Axon Kicker!"

As the fusion summon was complete, a psychic abomination appeared in front of Isaac. From its appearance, it looked a like a hybrid between Thought Ruler Archfiend and Armored Axon Kicker.

Ultimate Axon Kicker | Type: Psychic/Fusion | Attribute: LIGHT | Lvl: 10 | Atk: 2900 | Def: 1700

"Wow, I didn't know that guy could perform a Fusion Summon," Aogami commented.

"Yeah, no kidding," Touma replied. "Although I did saw that monster before in a dream some time ago . . ."

Effect Veiler overheard Touma's comment, but she resumed her observation on the duel; she was interested at the boy, for the fact that the boy has Esper Girl in his deck.

"Ha, that monster's attack doesn't even reach the attack of Misaka Misaka's Batteryman AA, Misaka Misaka points out the attack differences between the two monsters."

"Oh, it's not just attack power that can make a difference in a duel," Isaac replied. "Perhaps I should proceed to my Battle Phase to prove my point. Ultimate Axon Kicker, attack one of the Batteryman AA!"

Suddenly, Last Order pointed her finger at Isaac, as if she was mocking Isaac's desperate actions.

"Has the boy lost his mind? Misaka Misaka's monsters have more attack power than his monster, Misaka Misaka brags about her field presence."

"Is he nuts?" Touma gasped. "He'll just destroy his own monster in the process!"

"Wait Kami-yan, whatever he's doing, he's planning something," Tsuchimikado postulated. "Ah! It's that card in the graveyard, particularly its second effect . . ."

"What kind of card?" Aogami asked.

"Why not we let the turn player activate that card for us to see?" Tsuchimikado replied.

"It doesn't matter; your actions will cost you your duel! Misaka Misaka brags over your misplay!"

"Actually, this isn't a misplay at all," Isaac replied. "Do you recall one of my cards that I discarded by your Morphing Jar?"

Suddenly, a card came out from Isaac's graveyard zone. He grabbed it and showed it to Last Order and Misaka 10032; the two girls were surprised when they saw that card.

"Breakthrough Skill is among the cards I discarded through your Morphing Jar," Isaac explained. "During my turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: I banish Breakthrough Skill from my Graveyard, and then I target 1 face-up Effect Monster my opponent controls and negate its effects until the end of this turn."

Upon hearing Isaac's words, both the eyes of Misaka 10032 and Last Order widened. In the course of the duel, they have forgotten the card that the boy discarded through the effect of Morphing Jar. In other words, they did not see this tactic coming.

"If the second effect of Breakthrough Skill is applied to the attacked Batteryman AA, the results will be devastating, Misaka expresses her dread."

"Don't forget that Batteryman AA either gains 1000 attack or defense points depending on the battle positions of 'Batteryman AA's the player controls," Revelry said. "Since the original attack and defense of Batteryman AA is zero, it means you'll basically receive a pseudo-direct attack when the second effect of Breakthrough Skill is applied."

Batteryman AA | ATK: 3000 ≈ 0

Weakened by the effect of Breakthrough Skill, the affected Batteryman AA desperately tried to charge towards Ultimate Axon Kicker. Likewise, Last Order began to panic once again and Misaka 10032 was considering activating her last resort in an attempt to change the outcome of the battle.

"Misaka Misaka doesn't have any card to counter this assault. Is there anything we can do? Misaka Misaka pleads to her sister if she can do anything to stop that attack!"

"If that is the case, then Misaka will show her determination by activating Misaka's last resort; Misaka chains a trap, Widespread Ruin. When Misaka's opponent declares an attack: Destroy the Attack Position monster Misaka's opponent controls with the highest attack."

Suddenly, a claymore mine appeared between Batteryman AA and Ultimate Axon Kicker. As both card effects were activated and resolved in sequence, Ultimate Axon Kicker was enveloped in an explosion. Both Misaka 10032 and Last Order were sure that the psychic monster was destroyed, but to their dismay, Ultimate Axon Kicker emerged from the explosion completely unharmed.

"This is completely unexpected, Misaka describes her shock. How did that monster survive the trap card? Misaka asks for an explanation."

"I didn't chain anything else when you activate Widespread Ruin," Isaac replied. "Unfortunately, that card would do anything against Ultimate Axon Kicker! One of its effects state that Ultimate Axon Kicker cannot be destroyed by card effects! Go Axon Kicker; show them the Axon Claw Slash!"

As Ultimate Axon Kicker dashes for its target, the expressions that Misaka 10032 and Last Order had revealed that they have wholly accepted their loss. As such, contact occurred; a thick blanket of smoke covered the field, shrouding the duelists from the spectators.

"Aw! That was so close, but it was a great duel! Misaka Misaka states her final words at the duel!"

"Yes, Misaka agrees."

Damage Calculation: 2900

Last Order/Misaka 10032: 1800 – 2900 = 0

Isaac and Revelry wins.

"What happened?" Aogami exclaimed. "The smoke ruined the ending!"

However, Tsuchimikado knew better; so, he had an idea involving the unfortunate boy.

"Kami-yan, you should do something, nya," Tsuchimikado suggested.

"Eh? What do you mean?" Touma asked.

"I think you should go to the area and greet them personally!" Tsuchimikado replied as he forced Touma to stand up. "Aogami, open the gate!"

"Oi! What are you doing, Tsuchimikado?" Touma complained as he was being pushed by the sis-con. He saw Aogami opened the gate towards the arena. "Aogami, you're into this too?!"

"Don't you get, Kami-yan?" Tsuchimikado explained. "They did this duel just to get your attention! It's appropriate that you should go there and congratulate them! Now go make us proud!"

With one last push, Tsuchimikado pushed the unfortunate boy into the arena. Now, all that he and Aogami needed to do was to return to their seats and watch the 'fireworks' that was bound to happen.

"I don't really know what's going on in his head," Touma lamented. "Such misfortune."

"But, he has a point," Effect Veiler replied. "Come on, stand up and go to them!"

"Alright, I get it," Touma replied as he stood up.

As the smoke cleared, Misaka 10032's expressions remained unchanged, as Touma would observe, she retained her stoic expression even at a loss. As for Last Order, she was on the floor, clutching her side. Apparently, the force of the last attack was enough for the little clone to be knocked to the floor.

"Ow! That attack was strong! Misaka Misaka states as she falls to the floor!"

"We thank you two," Isaac helped Last Order stand up. "That was a fun duel."

"Ah, we also had fun too! Misaka Misaka happily accepts the boy's helping hand!"

"That was close duel," Revelry said. "We're not even sure that we'd pull though."

As Last Order was talking to Isaac and Revelry, Misaka 10032 remained silent. Originally, she planned to duel Touma, but that was not possible and moreover, she had lost. She turned around to see Touma in front of her.

"Misaka, is there something wrong?" Touma asked.

"It's just that . . . Misaka did not get to duel with her savior and on top of that, Misaka lost; Misaka expresses her thoughts."

"Look, it doesn't matter if you won or lost," Touma said to her. "What matters in the end is you had fun; look at Last Order; did she look sad when she lost?"

Touma pointed at the direction and Misaka 10032 saw Last Order talking with Isaac and Revelry. There was no trace of a frown on the little clone's face; instead, she had a huge smile in her face, as if she had fun and accepted her loss.

"See that smile on her face?" Touma pointed out. "Sure, Last Order lost, but she had fun and enjoyed the duel. I hope you understand what I'm saying."

From her research on the First Duel King; Misaka 10032 found out that duel encourages players to forge lasting bonds. This was the basis of her objective to duel her savior.

"I guess the savior's words hold the truth; Misaka acknowledges the boy's words."

Misaka approached Isaac and Revelry. When the two focused their attention on her, Misaka 10032 said to them.

"Misaka sincerely thank you two for the duel. That duel opened Misaka's eyes to the true purpose of dueling. It is as the savior said; Duel Monsters is a game to be truly enjoyed with; Misaka expresses her thoughts."

"It isn't really a big deal!" Revelry said. "We also enjoyed it!"

"If that is the case, Misaka needs to be somewhere else. Misaka says farewell to her two worthy opponents."

"Of course, everyone needs to go somewhere nowadays," Isaac replied. Then, he asked Last Order. "So, are you going somewhere too?"

By the time Isaac's words reached her ears, the little clone's eyes widened as if she has forgotten something important.

"Ah! Misaka Misaka needs to be somewhere too! Misaka Misaka frantically manages to forget that important detail!"

When the two clones left the scene, Effect Veiler saw the spirit of Esper Girl materialized in front of Isaac and Revelry. Amidst this, it seemed that Touma, Isaac and Revelry also saw each other's duel spirits. In response, Isaac and Revelry approached Touma.

"You can see Esper Girl, didn't you?" Isaac asked him. Esper Girl waved at Touma and Effect Veiler.

"Yeah, and I'd bet you two can see Effect Veiler too?" Touma iterated.

As for Revelry, she noticed that many people were coming into the arena to duel. After all, it was nearing lunchtime; time seemed to flow fast in a duel.

"Why not we discuss this on another place?" Revelry suggested. "The duel arena is going to be packed with people shortly. . ."

"Tch, that brat . . . where did she fucking go?"

Meanwhile, Accelerator was wandering around Academy City looking for Last Order. Since the little clone had exclaimed her intentions for today, the albino had searched all of the dueling shops in the city, but with little to no luck.

"Tch, this is fucking useless," Accelerator grumbled. "That stupid brat is gonna head home sooner or later-"

Suddenly, Accelerator saw Last Order heading towards him. The little clone clung on Accelerator and displayed a wide grin on her face.

"There you are! Misaka Misaka has a lot to tell you today!"

Acclerator lightly tapped Last Order's head with his right hand, causing the little clone to wince in mock pain.

"Ow! What was that for?! Misaka Misaka falsely clutches her head in response."

"So, did you duel anyone today?" Accelerator asked.

"Ha, I did duel and it was fun! Misaka Misaka honestly answers your question!"

Upon hearing her answer, Accelerator sighed in annoyance. As much as he would put up with her, he was actually glad that he found her.

"Come on, let go back," Accelerator replied.

No more words were spoken on the two as they headed for home.

In another place called New Domino, a man was on his Duel Runner near the Daedalus Bridge, observing the phenomenon that was happening on the sky. The man takes off his helmet, revealing his identity as Yusei Fudo.

"What in the world is going on?"

Yusei Fudo was a man of a few words. He had shoulder-length spiky black hair, but adorned with brilliant golden streaks. He had a jagged criminal marker on the left side of his face. His attire consisted of a blue jacket with amber gems on the shoulders and blue jeans adorned with amber gems on the knees and leather boots.

In addition, Yusei was among the chosen group of individuals known as the Signers. Along with the Jack Atlas, Crow Hogan, Akiza Izinski, and Luna, they were the only ones capable of calling the almighty Crimson Dragon on the most severe circumstances.

At the moment, the Signer was baffled at what he was seeing. To him and the rest of New Domino City, it seemed as though the sky has broken like a pane of glass and a black vortex appeared and it seemed to grow bigger each passing moment.

"How could this be? We thought for sure Yliaster was defeated recently at WRGP . . ."

The blue eyes of the Signer narrowed at the huge wormhole above New Domino City. Just as they were able to resolve one problem at WRGP, a much more dangerous situation emerged to take its place.

"Whatever it is, I've got a bad feeling about this . . ."

End of Chapter

Finally, I have managed to wrap up the tag duel on this story! Forgive me for the many calculation errors that were present in the previous chapter. I took the extra effort in multi-checking this chapter as well.

The plot will be moving forward in the next chapter as the main cast of YuGiOh 5D's will make an appearance! Didn't you readers see the character list in the fanfic description? Anyway, here's another stinger for you readers to enjoy!

And see if you readers can recognize where the tagline at the bottom of the chapter came from; if you readers can figure it out, please add it to your reviews.

At last, Accelerator and Last Order entered Yomikawa's apartment. Immediately, his red eyes noticed something on the table. It was a newly bought duel disk, complete with a deck inside.

"Wow, this is a new duel disk! And it also came with a deck! Misaka Misaka happily examines the new items!"

As Last Order continued to examine the new deck, the level 5 albino noticed a note that was beside the two new items. He picked up the note with his right hand and it read:

Hey, after I saw the kid having fun with her duel disk, I decided to buy you a duel disk as well. Duel Monsters is getting more popular in Academy City by the minute. Besides, Yoshikawa thinks that dueling is an excellent way of rehabilitation, as you don't have to use your esper powers on this game.

Other than that, have fun dueling, jan.

After reading the note, Accelerator crumpled it with his right hand. For him, he would not participate in a card game like Duel Monsters no matter what. However, since fate conspired against him, he felt that he should let out his frustrations by yelling a certain particular name.

"YOOOMMMMIIIKKKAAAWWWA!"
