I am joining this site to be able to communicate with other writers. I probably won't write any fanfics, since my writing is strictly original. (Right now anyways.) I love books more than is good for me. My personal collection resides in a 6 foot tall bookcase, with the overflow in a small case in the hall. Some were my mother's as a child, some were gifts; but most I got for myself. What can I say? I love to read. If it sits still - I'll read it.

McHale's Navy, Hawaii 5-0(2010), Hogan's Heroes, NCIS, & NCIS: Los Angeles in that order. There are also others that I occasionally watch.

MY MUSIC:

Christian, Celtic, bluegrass, classical, old Broadway show tunes, old movie musicals

Ricky Skaggs, Celtic Thunder, Celtic Woman, The High Kings, Josh Turner, Yo-Yo Ma (listen to the albums "Silk Road Journeys", "Appalachia Waltz " & "Appalachian Journey" - all prime examples of his virtuoso work.)Dean Martin (the song "Houston" in particular - it's totally amazing!!), Colm Keegan, Emmet Cahill, Chloe Agnew, Byrne And Kelly(Neil Byrne and Ryan Kelly) (all insanely talented Irish singer/songwriter/musicians), Joshua Bell (Listen to his album "Short Trip Home" - it rocks!!), Roy Rogers & The Sons of the Pioneers, Alabama (I love their music!), Owen Pickard- check out this amazingly talented young man on YouTube.

I love birds, both wild & pets. There are 2 calico kitties swanning it around our place but, I want a gray cat. My personal pet is a 5" long bird (who is now

12 1/2 years old!!!) - (yes, he is fully grown!).

RIP Snowball, I'm gonna miss you, the stubbornest cat around & 'King of the Neighborhood'.

I adore roses of all sizes & love to garden.
