Hello and welcome to all who find their way here.

In recent years, I have discovered what some family members and close friends have labeled a talent for writing. Some days I’m not too sure I’d call it a talent so much as a compulsion. Sometimes, the stories floating around in my head simply won’t give me any rest until I write them. However, talent or compulsion, whichever it is, I always enjoy it.

Quite a while ago I decided to publish my first JAG fan fiction here. Things went so well that I am now neck deep in a follow up to that first story. Most recently I have begun to write for the Outlaw Queen fandom of Once Upon a Time.

Several years ago, I got my start writing fan fiction for the television crime drama CSI. I may publish more of that work here when I have the time. I also am the founding member of The Last Precinct; a fan fiction based roleplay group for the Kay Scarpetta series by author, Patricia Cornwell on facebook

Additionally, I have written more than just fan fiction. I am but one of more than 100 authors across the United States to collaborate on a publication entitled Two Plus Four Equals One. This anthology is guaranteed to tug at the heartstrings of any person with a furry canine pal. It is a collection of stories meant to increase both the awareness and acceptance of service dogs and their human partners.

So, if you’re a fan of Once Upon a Time, JAG, CSI, Kay Scarpetta and her band of crime-fighting friends and colleagues, or even just a fan of service dogs, come on in, help yourself to a cup of Earl Grey and a comfy chair. Dive right into a story. I’m almost positive you’ll find something you like.

Thank you for reading. If you are following some of my work, I appreciate that more than I can say. I hope you will continue to do so.

However, I’m afraid that I rarely ever take requests for writing stories.

Those of us who write may make it look easy, but oftentimes it is exceedingly difficult. Especially for those of us who care deeply about what and who we write about. We’re constantly pushing ourselves to do better, to do the best job possible. As difficult as it is to write about the stories we are passionate about, it is exponentially more difficult to attempt writing about something or someone we aren’t passionate about.

If I don't feel I have the proper enthusiasm for a request I would rather not do it, than do it and disappoint you. Additionally, I have more than one iron in the fire where my own writing is concerned. If you request something specific, I might eventually come around to it, but I make no promises as to when that might be.

And finally, because I do spend so much time working on the stories I write, I really crave constructive feedback from my readers. An open dialogue between writer and reader helps feed the creative process. It helps encourage those of us who do create. Therefore, I not only appreciate, but I need my readers to get in touch. So, if you can take the time to read my stories, please make sure you also take the necessary time for an appropriate review. Especially before you contact me with a request, because, with due respect, why should I take the time, or put forth the effort necessary to create something specifically for you if you won't take the time to express appreciation? The people whose work you are enjoying deserve to hear from you for reasons other than you asking for customized works.
