Frau Wilhelm Klink chapter 22 . 2/8 This was a beautifully written story! I would have been thrilled if this had been the actual ending to the show. I just wish General Burkhalter had been there to see the wedding and Klink had been shown that Hogan wasn't lying. But other than that, it was perfect! (Though I do feel bad for Klink. Poor guy.) |
Frau Wilhelm Klink chapter 5 . 2/7 I'm REALLY glad that I wasn't eating or drinking anything when I got to the end of Chapter 5; I think i would have choked on it or snorted said liquid! As is was, I went into a coughing fit from laughter. I can just picture in my head the whole scene with Hogan and his snide comments. Great job so far! |
Guest chapter 22 . 6/21/2016 Klink never committed any war crimes so he never would have been charged. Hogan would have saved him if he had been charged |
Rockport268 chapter 22 . 6/17/2016 I've been wondering recently what happened to Stalag 13 towards the end of the war, and this story answers that question beautifuly. You did a really good job of capturing each character, especially in their dialogue. Hogan's exchanges with Klink, especially in the very beginning when Klink was trying to discuss the letter the prisoners wrote for Schultz is spot-on, and so are Klink's conversations with Schultz. (The others were really good, too; those are just the ones that stood out to me.) I also like the background you gave Hilda and how Hogan does everything he can first to help her and then to marry her. That was very sweet. |
Guest chapter 22 . 6/19/2015 Thanks for a good read. Thoroughly enjoyed it although my own view of Klink is a little more smpathetic. You havevthe characters voices down pat:) |
Dizzy17 chapter 22 . 8/11/2014 How about continuing with Burkhalter and Hochstetter standing trial for War Crimes? Find Burkhalter guilty, but give him a light sentence. Find Hochstetter guilty. Don't sentence him to death, but give him life in prison. |
Beloved Daughter chapter 22 . 2/21/2014 Absolutely brilliant story! Loved all the tweaking of Klink's nose by Hogan - everything from setting up the wedding to automatically raking his fingers though his own thick, dark hair to bother Klink. Just pure genius! Thanks for writing and posting! |
snooky-9093 chapter 22 . 1/4/2014 LOL. that is definitely revenge on Hogan's part. truthfully, I don't think Klink would ever have been tried for war crimes. There were plenty of others that obviously deserved it, including some real camp Kommandants. Great story. congrats! |
snooky-9093 chapter 21 . 1/4/2014 Out the Front Gates. Couldn't be any better. |
snooky-9093 chapter 20 . 1/4/2014 Nice reference to the first episode with Crittendon. Ah. Same old Klink. Twisting things as usual. |
snooky-9093 chapter 18 . 1/4/2014 I'm enjoying this immensely. While this scenario (The POW's taking over the camp, with the Germans as prisoners until the Allies arrive) has been done before, I like that you've injected humor into the mix. It's a nice change. |
snooky-9093 chapter 12 . 1/3/2014 Lol. A nice musical interlude! |
snooky-9093 chapter 11 . 1/3/2014 Burkhalter, an escape, Hogans plan, and a dice game. A lot going on here. And I think you are mixing humor ( like the show) well with the tragedy of Hilda's family. |
snooky-9093 chapter 9 . 1/3/2014 i really think Klink needs to have his eyes examined. (or he needs a new monicle) I like the backstory on Helga. Glad she is safe in Switzerland. And yes, Hilda and Gretchen were played by the same actor, although it's amazing Klink couldn't put two and two together. You've done Konarciq and Sgt. Moffitt proud! Great chapter. |
snooky-9093 chapter 8 . 1/3/2014 I love the first section. turnabout is fair play; LOL. Although I do wonder where LeBeau is getting all the food. at this stage, it would have been scarce everywhere. Unless they had provisions saved up. Horrible news for Hilda. It will be hard for Hogan, for it will be up to him to tell her. |
