Author has written 14 stories for Bones. Let's see...what to say, what to say? I'm a former Chicago gal and ex-Navy brat. NOTICE: I have entered a collaboration with Robert Modean. Check us out at PartnersNCrimeWriting, here on ! Holiday Harmonies is our current story, hopefully filed with laughter, poignancy, and a lot of B&B love, plus Christine. I read and write fantasy and the only fanfic I write is for Bones, though I've been creating fanfics for other worlds in my head since I was a kid. Just didn't know back then that anyone else did that! My passions are books, writing, Medieval/Renaissance England, and beading. Roses will always get my attention, and Godiva (dark) chocolate-covered cherries or Lindor white chocolate truffles make a suitable bribe, if you don't have spare cash. I have unusual tastes in music: folk, new age, Celtic, musicals, 80s pop, touch of classical. My bookshelves have a lot of scifi/fantasy (I especially recommend Mercedes Lackey, if you're curious) and histories, not to mention the reference books every fantasy author needs. Movies, well, most of my favorites are not current: Clue, Xanadu, Princess Bride, The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, Stardust, and The Pirate Movie are among them. A note on reviews: they're very welcome, but personally, I find being added to author alerts quite flattering, and I know if y'all have anything to say, you will. I would just ask that if I mention reviews in an author note, please let me know how I did, because I plan on a few experiments in what I post as practice and need the feedback. Thanks. And please feel free to PM me. Almost always willing to chat about the things I love or have written! A handful of quotes: "He is happiest of whom the world says least, good or bad."--Thomas Jefferson "The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they are okay, then it's you." --Rita Mae Brown Dungeons and Dragons is just a lot of Saxon Violence. Librarians are novel lovers! There is something to be said for working in a place bound in leather. "Where I'm from, we believe all sorts of things that aren't true. We call it - 'history'." (the Wizard in the musical Wicked) “Nature abhors a hero. For one thing, he violates the law of conservation of energy. For another, how can it be survival of the fittest when the fittest keeps putting himself in situations where he is most likely to be creamed?”--Solomon Short "I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires."-- Susan B. Anthony "No, I'm no one's wife/But, oh, I love my life" Chicago (the musical) When in danger or in doubt, Inflation is when the buck doesn't stop anywhere. Therapy is expensive, poppin' bubble wrap is cheap! You choose. Here we are, all of us, basically alone, separate creatures, just circling each other, all searching for that slightest hint of a real connection. Some look in the wrong places, some they just give up hope because in their mind they're thinking "Oh there's nobody out there for me," but all of us, we keep trying over and over again. Why? Because every once in a while... every once in a while, two people meet and there's that spark, and yes, Bones, he's handsome and she's beautiful and maybe that's all they see at first, but making love... making love... that's when two people become one. “In love, the paradox occurs that two beings become one and yet remain two.”--Erich Fromm |
