| Guest chapter 1 . 7/2/2019 My personal opinion of this "controversy": No Ministry letters ever addressed Harry with any other first name, same the Hogwarts letters, OWL results, Marauder's Map and the official list of first year names McGonagall was reading during Harry's sorting. There is also absolutely no evidence or even any indications that Harry may have a different name. The only reasons I have seen so far for doing that change of name are either really good ideas for original stories (like yours) or self-righteousness ("It has to be that way, because I say so, despite having no evidence and despite everything pointing in a different direction.") or the belief the character of Harry will be "better" (thus making the whole story better) if he has a "better" name. The latter two are just pathetic. |

| Bronze chapter 1 . 3/25/2019 Yeah, 24 hrs to back out of the tri wizards moron tournament but Fumblemort made damn sure Harry had no knowledge of that in canon. The very last thing he wanted was his weapon in training to get out of that years near death experience. Now if you'd like to make another like this I have a suggestion for really screwing with this as well as the Ministry of/for Morons. Fumblemort calls out Harry Potter and Harry whips out his wand and shouts Ballista or Bombardia Maximus at the cup putting everything he has into it. All his anger and hatred to really up the level of destruction. The cups goes BOOM and Harry then asks how the cup can enforce the supposed contract if it no longer exists? Now that'd really throw a rather large wrench into plans for the year. |
