I love all these little slices of Booth and Brennan’s life! Super cute~ Honestly they make the cutest couple! Great job writing everything as well :) I was wondering why you suddenly refer to Christine as Ruth in this chapter? Is it a middle name I forgot? Not a big deal anyway, you can still tell who you’re talking about.

I like the dialogue also !

I really enjoy your writing the family you portray is so much fun ,thank you for such relaxing stories I get so fed up with the " other " kind .

I just finished re-visiting this story after many years. This time I decided to binge read the chapters in order. And so I scribbled down the chapter numbers in their order on a tiny scrap of paper. I've been carrying it around in my pockets everywhere with me for a week, lost in this perfect little world you created.

I can't thank you enough for putting together something so fun and happy and ideal, the kind of perfection we dream. This is what we wish our lives could be like, how we wish our family to be when it grows bigger and older. What we wish for when we envision a significant other. And just this week of closing myself off in this bubble of happily ever afters, away from the doldrums and disappointments of real life, it has been bliss.
Some of the chapters, specially towards the end were very, very hard to get through. It's almost crazy, putting yourself in that spot where you know the devastating sadness is coming, but you still open the chapter and make yourself read it, because it's beautifully written, and it's a part of you that you decided to offer to us and it's that little nugget of heartbreaking reality nestled between the fairytale. I have only ever gone towards reading as an escape. I can't even imagine being on the other side, being vulnerable and so open, and getting through writing something like that. Thank you.
Just, thank you so much for your words. For the world you created. This is the little piece of legacy you create here. It's one of those fics that will always be on top of the lists. For reads and re-reads. For everyone that comes to revisit adventures of Booth and Bones.

I know this story was written quite some time ago, but I just read the AN regarding your prerogative to write fluff. I just wanted to say that I personally appreciate and love Roots and Wings. I find myself laughing out loud at the antics all the time! As a mother who’s raised 5 (3 bio, 2 step), so many of your situations were very true to life. And I could hear B&Bs voices through the entire scene...it was classic. Perhaps it’s my age (49), but while I’m okay with some angst, there MUST BE an HEA! You’re right...we can see all the devastation we want by turning on the news. So thank you for the fluff!

Thanks for this beautiful story. Sometimes everyone wants to make sure that the TV series does not end and the favorite heroes have been with us for as long as possible. You managed to do this. You managed to say the unsaid or do something new. I enjoyed reading all 206 parts. On many laughed, on some (especially the last) tears flowed, and the heroes matched their screen characters.

Thank you for alerting me to the edited version of this chapter. I enjoyed the additions, especially seeing Brennan and Christine’s conversation from Booth’s point of view. That perspective was alluded to prior to your revisions but seeing it fleshed out now was lovely. I laughed again at Zach’s non-stop eating. My nephews were much the same at his age.
