![]() Author has written 29 stories for Harry Potter. I'm in my twenties, I major in English Literature. I've written Harry Potter fanfiction for almost ten years but began to publish only almost six years ago (more or less). I manage in a bookshop. I'll be moving to the UK sometime in the not so far future. If you paid any attention to my profile than you probably noticed that while my English is rather good (if not great) it is not, in fact, my native language. I too have the occasional slipups and typos and whatnots – I am only human. I ship mostly canon but nowadays most of my works are centered on Lily II\ Scorpius. While I also have my least favorite ships as anyone (Harry\Hermione for example) I will read one of them if they are well written and worth my time and don't involve character bashing - it is childish and stupid and usually means that the plot is not worthy of any reading. I'm very strict with keeping the slang and speech British and realistic. I refuse to believe that while living in the UK, Ginny Weasley speaks like a character from 90210 – I used to do that when I was young and I think that's one of the worst sins on fanfiction writing. The outcome of it is when something like Fifty Shades of Gray gets published and it poorly edited and proofread (I do work in a bookshop). And please make sure you've read and know the books before you review someone and criticize them. The movies don't count, not for me at least. Current works in process: The Git Chronicles - The very hush hush-top secret diary of Lily Luna Potter Mother's Day- based on Marian Keyes' Watermelon. On the day she gives birth to their first baby, Lily's husband informs her that he's leaving her – now she has to learn how to cope and be an adult. Lost In Rowling - the Potterverse version to the mini-series "Lost in Austen" (on-hold) Infection Z - what happens with a deadly Zombie Attack takes place in the wizarding world? (On-hold) Then She Found Me - A coming of age romance fic between Lily L. Potter and Scorpius Malfoy. (On-hold) |
