Author has written 12 stories for Teen Titans, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Hunter X Hunter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Harry Potter, Misc. Games, Pokémon, Rise of the Guardians, and Misc. Tv Shows. Hello hello! Thanks for visiting, and hopefully you'll enjoy my stories! Here be a little info about meself: I'm 25 years old, but I've been writing fanfiction since before I can remember lol...maybe since I was 10? Anyway I'd like to think I've come a long way since then, even though I'm not an English major or anything like that. I'm always looking to improve my writing though, so any kind of feedback is always welcome! Current OTPs: (older) Jamie x Jack from Dreamworks' Rise of the Guardians. Their interactions are just so adorable in the movie, and I can totally see Jack still visiting Jamie when he's older! Hence, my current fic, Frostbite. DESTIEL. A little late to jump on the bandwagon, but holy crap this is the most canon noncanon pairing ever. I swear some of the SPN writers are secretly Destiel fans. And MISHA COLLINS IS THE SWEETEST HUMAN BEING ON THE PLANET. Current non-anime fandoms: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Supernatural, Rise of the Guardians. Also completely obsessed with John Barrowman (actor for Jack Harkness), who has such an amazing voice (yes he sings!) No current anime fandoms at the moment...I've been tending to move away from anime for the past few years :P About my stories: I took a long hiatus from fanfiction for a few years, so basically anything written before 'Frostbite' is going to be pretty different in terms of writing style. I kind of cringe when I reread some of them...honestly I wanted to take them all down to have a fresh start, but since they've been faved and whatnot, decided to leave them up. Unfortunately, they'll most likely never be updated. But if anyone wants to take over any of them, let me know! Art: http:/// Tumblr: Most of the doodles that don't make it to deviantart go here. Obscure anime/manga recommendations below, my effort to bring more attention to them since in my opinion they are really quite good (I won't provide a detailed summary here since I'm sure better ones can be found on wikipedia or animenewsnetwork): Natsume Yujincho. Just one of those thoughtful, feel good animes. Really cute, interesting single-episode plots, and plenty of slashy undertones! Mushishi. Another thoughtful kind of anime, with an interesting world and cool fantasy concepts. Also single-episode plots. And AFTER AN ETERNITY OF WHO KNOWS HOW LONG THEY FINALLY STARTED SEASON 2 THIS SPRING! Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit. Awesome, awesome animation in this one, really interesting and complex plot, and a very well thought out world. What's interesting about it is the switched gender roles, but not in an annoyingly blatant way. You almost don't notice it, it's integrated that well into the story. Really cool, well developed characters too, especially the main female protagonist. Her baddassery is just through the roof - her fight scenes are awesome, but unfortunately few. :( Random bits 'n' bobs... "When you feel like getting angry with someone, walk a mile in their shoes. Then you're a mile away and you have their shoes." - ?? "Never apologize for being nerdy, because unnerdy people never apologize for being assholes." - John Barrowman "Fanfiction is what literature might look like if it were reinvented from scratch after a nuclear apocalypse by a band of brilliant pop-culture junkies trapped in a sealed bunker. They don't do it for money. That's not what it's about. The writers write it and put it up online just for the satisfaction. They're fans, but they're not silent, couchbound consumers of media. The culture talks to them, and they talk back to the culture in its own language." - Lev Grossman, TIME, July 18, 2011 |
