Charlotte is a writer/artist/student who lives in a big and loud city but hates overcrowded places and really loud noises. At the tender age of 25, she has spent much of her life hunched over sketchbooks and novels to avoid socialization and eye-contact. She has been writing and drawing for as long as she can remember and has an affinity for true-crime/paranormal podcasts, dark chocolate, art history, secondhand stores, horror stories, and dogs.

Passionate about creating, she has many plans and aspirations and has trouble wrangling her numerous creative projects. Writing is the only exception. Mostly she writes Harry Potter fan-fiction but has dreams of writing a book or making a graphic novel one day.

Charlotte began writing fan-fiction at a young age and utters a silent thanks each day that none of it has survived the test of time. It was terrible. Luckily, now, her writing is less terrible, she thinks. Some of you may think so, too. She appreciates that.

Charlotte has been writing fan-fiction under the moniker thewanderingdaughter since 2011. At this point in time, two of her stories sit at 1,000 favorites, and the rest have all been received better than she thought they would be. When she began writing her first story, His Little Bird, she never once thought that she would have the level of success it has to this day, and growing stronger. She is extremely grateful for this, too, and thanks you warmly, whether you have been reading for years or for days.
