I only know a little French, but it’s been ages since I last used it, reading or verbal. Would love if the translations could be added to your story, whether directly after or have an asterisk at each phrase and translate all of them at the bottom after you finish the chapter

I’m screaming oh my gosh this was so freaking perfect! The little moments adding up to build their relationship, the ones that revealed already established relationships, the romance; everything was so detailed and sweet and beautiful! I especially adored how Hermione dealt with Draco “coming to his senses” and scrambling to ask her to the ball. Hermione is intelligent, passionate, but most of all, stubborn. Regardless of her many insecurities, she has a certain confidence and pride in herself that means unlike most other female protagonists, she wouldn’t allow herself to show guilt or self-doubt to her love interest and break off another commitment for just because he apologized, especially when they both know he messed up. It was so freaking satisfying for her to let him stew and regret his idiocy, haha. Even better, I don’t think their moment at the end of the night was her giving in or anything like a surrender; she let him face the consequences for his rash behavior, but didn’t let that ruin their night or relationship because he showed genuine regret and attempted to make amends. This was so sweet!

oh gosh. this fic has been around for a long time. but i hope, i hope against all hope you make a sequel for this. this was such a lovely read.

I think this is one of those fics where I appreciate Lavender and Parvati. Most fics show them as just those giggly airheads
