I have been greatly enjoying this story! The basis of Beauty and the Beast is plain to see, but there are enough other layers (Pansy, Ron, Hogwarts, You-Know-Who) that it isn't too predictable, which is unique in a story of this type and something I like quite a bit. The slow evolution of Draco's personality and Hermione's determination to escape is so good. I love how many characters you've managed to work into this story, too! (Small funny thing: I had just drawn the parallel between the teacups and Hogwarts first-years, and was thinking 'Hm, that would be funny if Colin Creevey showed up...' And then there he was!) Snape and McGonnagal, Luna, Neville, BLAISE! Suffice it to say I like this quite a lot.
I realize it has been some time since you last updated this story, and I understand if the inspiration/motivation/heart to write this story has diminished. That said, I think you're doing a wonderful job and it seems like a shame to leave the story off here - especially as it seems you have an idea of where you mean it to go. I know I along with others would love to see the rest of this, as you intended it!

Ohh.. Please continue. The best story ever, beautiful words

You can't even imagine how thrilled I was to discover this story. I've been obsessing really hard over Beauty and the Beast for a couple of months now (not just the new movie, but literally anything and everything Beauty and the Beast. The new film is pretty much the best thing ever, though! I've seen it twice and am planning to see it a third time). Coincidentally, I also happened to be in a Harry Potter mood, and voila! I discovered your wonderful story.

I've never really read very many Dramione stores, but I've always, always been pretty intrigued by the pairing, and after reading this fic I am definitely sold on it. But I also love how you took a very familiar fairy tale, suited it to fit the HP characters, and managed to give it this whole new angle that opens up all sorts of great questions. What if the Beast WAS an elitist snob who hates the idea of marrying beneath his station, but eventually has to lower some of his standards because the curse leaves him with no choice? I just love, love, absolutelylove the whole concept of a "Beauty" who starts out as nothing but an unworthy peasant in the eyes of a "Beast" who loathes her at first sight. It's such a fascinating twist on the old story.

What's also spectacular is the fact that even though he's in the guise of a werewolf-beast-monster-thing, Draco is amazingly in-character here. He is just so completely, utterly HIMSELF. I think it's kind of easy to lose sight of the characters in any kind of AU story, but that's definitely not the case with this one. This is some of the most enjoyable Draco characterization I have ever read.

And the side characters! I am so in love with what you've done with McGonagall, Snape, Dean, Luna, Blaise (!) and all the rest. Especially Dean and Blaise. But mostly Blaise. Forget canon Blaise; your version of him is so much more entertaining, and I don't think I can read Half-Blood Prince the same way ever again because I'll find myself wishing he had your characterization. You know who else is really, really great, though? Pansy! I never, ever thought I would actually enjoying reading about Pansy, but your story has made me really love her. She's incredibly sympathetic here, for one thing, and I'm just absolutely crazy about her whole situation with the mirror. I adore it.

And even though this has not been updated in a few years and I'm certainly not expecting you to pop out another chapter anytime soon (if ever), I just wanted to drop by and say how much I enjoyed reading this. Thank you so much for writing!

I find this vastly amusing considering Emma Watson who played Hermione will play as Belle in Beauty of the Beast as of 2017. Gosh, this was made years ago! Can you predict the future or something?

I love this Ron that you created and I think he deserves love with someone wonderful, but Pansy though? She's an interesting character and she has suffered herself, but she needs to do some growing up beforehand and Ron really deserves someone better.
