I decided to write a fan-fiction because I wonder what it would be like to know how Snape would raise Harry. The story, Harry James Salazar Snape is set in an Alternate Universe. It is now complete, though I may or may not write a sequel. I don't know yet.

NOTE: As of 4/13/2015 - No sequel is in the works. This may later change but for now, no sequel. I just have too much going on in real life to work on it.

Update: As of 08/25/2019: Not planning on a sequel. Working on other fanfictions. Thanks to all my readers. This is not set in stone and may, at some point, change but until then, no sequel is being worked on.

And as of this update to my profile, I have another new and great job but not access to fanfiction during my work day.

I will try to start updating more.

I also have more health issues going on.

I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian, and many of my stories will have one or two religious themed chapters. Maybe even more.

YES, I am including Christianity in Harry Potter. It may seem illogical or even it wrong. If you are offended, write your own stories but bashing my religion (and me personally) especially through unsigned guest reviews is not a rational nor civilized response.

So, this is my challenge:

A Crossover with any sci-fi show set in the future, such as Star Trek, Babylon 5, or even Red Dwarf, and Harry Potter.

Guidelines:

1. Harry must not be a student at Hogwarts of the Future nor a professor.

2. Harry must not be dark or evil. He can be gray or light, he can even be "dark gray" or a "mix of light and dark" but he cannot be just as evil as the Death Eaters and Voldemort.

3. Harry must be Master of Death and has lived until the Era of the show. He must be seen as either an eccentric genius or someone who is a little insane but basically harmless. He must be a valuable member of the crew.

4. No sex - lemons - relationships - this story focuses on Harry and the crew and how they interact in their jobs. No romance, no relationships, no sex.

5. Everything else is open.

Here are some challenges for fics based on specific relationships:

Harry Filch - A Mentor relationship, this one kept secret because Filch does not want the students to know that he doesn't hate them. He acts like he does to keep them from liking him out of shame of being a squib. Harry is the first person to ever get past his exterior to reach the hurting person underneath. Set after Harry finds the Kwikspell brochure. No slash

Harry Filch - Family - Argus Filch is a muggle doctor. His parents found out he was a squib at birth and gave him to a muggle family and used memory charms to make them think he was theirs. Argus never knew he was a squib or anything about the wizard world. One morning his wife Petunia Filch nee Evans finds a baby on the doorstep of his home. They take him in and raise him as their own, alongside their other 3 children. The letter comes and the Filches don't want Harry to leave, so Argus opens a practice in Scotland near Hogwarts. No abuse; keep all bashing minor; no slash/sex

Harry MadEye, Kingsley, and Snape - While arresting Snape, MadEye, Kingsley, and Snape find Harry on a doorstep in November. When they discover that the house he was left at is abandoned, they decide to take him in. Snape gets cleared via Dumbledore but refuses to teach at Hogwarts; he agrees to make potions for the school instead. MadEye, Kingsley, and Snape all raise Harry together, each teaching him something useful. Manipulative Old Coot but not Evil Dumbledore. Note -- The Dursleys find Harry on their doorstep. Instead of taking him in, they pack up everything and leave their home. They figure if they never take him inside, then they never have to deal with him. It works as the blood wards never take with Petunia but they do take to MadEye who happens to be Harry's great uncle; Lily's maternal grandmother was MadEye's squib sister. No abuse; no slash

Harry and Hermione - when Ginny and Ron both die in the final battle, who do they turn to but each other to discover they loved each other all along. No Weasley bashing! Open to Dumbledore bashing.

Harry and Luna - When Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Neville, and all of Harry's yearmates die in the final battle, only one person can reach him through his despair. Harry and Luna married with kids; Harry teaches DADA, Luna teaches COMC. No bashing

Harry Malfoy- family - When Lucius finds Harry on the doorstep of a muggle home, he snatches the boy up and takes him to be raised in a proper pureblood home. What he does not know is the blood sacrifice of Harry's mother pushes the darkness out of Lucius's heart and allows Lucius's love for his family to grow. Harry and Draco are brothers. Lucius eventually turns spy for the light. Lucius was in the muggle neighborhood to do community service to bolster his good image; also he has a half-brother who is a squib and a lawyer in both worlds. While Lucius still despises muggles, he no longer hates muggleborns. Hermione Draco; Harry Luna; Ron Pansy; no slash; no abuse
