I am enjoying your story so far. I'm hoping that Remus becomes an ally, and that they spur him to contact the ICW to help Sirius. I also hope they are able to help Harry with his horcrux and to find the others all while getting around Dumbles.

Better have Harry checked for binding and blocks on his magic! I wouldn't put it past Fumblemort to do such and justify it to himself as keeping Harry safe in the muggle world. IE, the less accidental magic Harry does the less Petunia and Vernon would reject him ( Read abuse him ).
