Author has written 29 stories for Vampire Princess Miyu, Inheritance Cycle, Lord of the Rings, Flight Rising, Silmarillion, Doctor Who, Kung Fu Panda, and Naruto. Yes I am a squirrel, I use dark sorcery to write dark fanfiction. I've dabbled in several genres. But I've never attempted Western. I can't write brevity to save my life, and I'm not especially great at romance. I tend to write political intrigue. My larger multi chapter pieces, definitely have elements of political intrigue within them, but there's also some fluff, comedy, and a fair bit of crack floating around. I never intended to write LOTR or Silmarillion fanfiction. And now that's all I do. A lot of stuff is Ringwraith centric, but there's a fair bit to do with Sauron down there. Not all my fics share the same universes but all them share the same Ringwraiths, and they have a tendency to pop up quite a bit. Wolf World: Unnamed Prequel set in Numenor (because I can't think of a good title) The Young Wolf (the only one that has anything posted for) A Potential Sequel dealing with Dagor Dagorath (I'm undecided) Wolf Scraps: A collection of scrap pieces, drabbles, and a couple of crack pieces that are tied to the above fics The Deep Verse: Rolling in the Deep: an exploration of politics within Minas Morgul as told by various wraiths and on very unfortunate prisoner Nine Rings There Were: Stories about how each man got his ring (done to death, but with what I hope will be some twists) (Not yet posted) Fluffy Nazgul: Technically belongs here, since my OC from RITD makes frequent cameos RITD (As It Was): Rolling in the Deep's original incarnation, much too beloved to take down. And parts of it are technically 'canon' anyway. One of my favourite pieces. This was my pride and joy, now outmatched only by it's newer rendition. The parts that made it M-rated have been removed (for my own pleasure) and aside from a couple of foul words it's in the high T-range. I came across this and thought it needed sharing. Your stories can be pure wish-fulfillment. Sometimes we get so caught up in wanting to please the theoretical reader that we forget our writing is first and foremost for us. It’s our art, our self-expression, and we do it for our passion and our joy. Use other voices and perspectives to grow your own perspective and bring more to your writing. But you don’t owe it to anyone to create art for them, the way they want it. Your writing can be a love letter to yourself." |
