I have to say, yours is one of the few pics, where I can really hear their voices. For some reason the computerized vocals don't normally come through, but reading /this/ GLaDOS sounds like GLaDOS, and Wheatley sounds like Wheatley. I love you for managing to achieve that.

And oh my gosh this is brilliant by the way. Using his fear of heights to tormebt him, and her calm cool sadism is just perfect. She's perfect. I love your portrayal of her and him.

I just needed you know that I could actually hear them, as they're supposed to sound. Not to knock on other fanfics or anything. But I have to work really hard to imagine their voices sometimes, but here it's just happening, especially where a certain supercomputer is concerned.

This is, by far, the best story I have ever read, not just out of Portal, but out of any fandom. I have read this story multiple times already and I am still constantly drawn back to it. You are an absolutely brilliant writer, I cannot put into words how much I love this story, how much you tore my heart out when describing what Wheatley was experiencing, when he tried to hold on to that tiny hope, when he realized just how much his actions hurt Chell. It is very rare to come across a story that is so well written—not a single word of your story is a wasted word. Absolutely amazing, thank you for writing this.

My favorite Portal Fanfic ever! Please make more torture Fanfics!

I've been looking for a good torture fic to read and thankfully I stumbled across this one. Chapter 5 was goood. I was half expecting a bad end with Wheatley dying, not that I would have complained seeing as I am a fan of bad ends and they're hard to come across, but the continuation into sequels has left me curious so I will be checking those out next.

All right, I'll admit that when I first read this story I wasn't totally clear on what Chell was supposed to be stealing. I don't... know what I thought it was, but I didn't realize it was the portal gun until Wheatley mentioned it in the next fic, I think. I guess I thought she was supposed to be trying to steal Wheatley, which confused me when she left him behind, heh... I'm dumb DX

You know I kind of miss the "Vital testing apparatus destroyed" thing. I wish they'd kept that in Portal 2, or at least had some sort of reaction from GLaDOS when you destroy the cameras. Then again, maybe they made up for that with Wheatley's screens...
