Gwen Eruanna chapter 1 . 2/21/2013 Yes, so true. And an interesting take on the Witch King, too. I can actually pity him—having a name like that! Gwen |
Love's Labour's Won chapter 1 . 3/30/2009 That is incredible funny! |
Greetings from Mordor chapter 1 . 6/28/2006 Words cannot express how much I love you right now. |
Henry Plantagenet chapter 1 . 7/7/2005 I've heard of the Mouth of Sauron, and glimpsed the Eye a couple of times in the movie, but until now, have not had the pleasure of meeting the Nose, the Ears and the Digestive tract. And a pleasure it certainly was! :) |
Redheredh chapter 1 . 6/4/2005 LOL! All this for *that* punchline! Well-written and chock-full of good jokes and satire. Plus a few shaggy-warg stories for good - eh, wicked?- fun. Just how many parts are in the Corpus anyway? Perhaps some other *naughty bits* not mentioned here? ];} Hmm, would one call this fic noir or fun noir? Oh, how about fuin noir! |
Mizamour chapter 1 . 6/3/2005 Oh, this is hilariously great! :-D Woohoo! |
Blood-Debt chapter 1 . 6/3/2005 An... interesting take on how 'women are the death of the Witch King', shall I say? *grins* Great idea. *mutters in audience on what sort of deluded plot bunnies -you- have...* No, not really. Joking. But indeed, a brilliant little piece. |
Dragon-of-the-north chapter 1 . 6/3/2005 Wonderful. :-) The punch line is great, but I was already laughing very much before I got there(and yet felt some sympathy for the witch king - something that is not easy to create, I guess, but how else could one feel about the narrator of a story that sounds as if Raymond Chandler wrote about Mordor? ;-)). I honestly cannot say which parts I liked best - there were so many great things, from the "Gorthaurian theology" over the localization of the void and the "modern Orcish music" to "You’ll have to forgive him. He’s the Hand of Sauron". The "corpus" as such was great fun (especially the drinking game with the "liver"). Unfortunately, all the talk about erotic adventures of ringwraiths and other nice gentlemen made me (or rather my dirty mind) wonder if there is someone for such tasks as well in the "corpus"... In any case, the insights into the social and cultural life of Mordor (is the Witch King's great work available on CD yet? *g*) were highly entertaining - thanks for writing this. :-) |
Lady LeBeau chapter 1 . 6/2/2005 LOL! *is amused* Thanks for writing that; I needed a laugh. I can see it with incredible clarity...and the last line was perfect. _ I applaud your mad Nazgul one-shot skillz. |
