This is the first SasoSaku that I read and this version would stay with me for a long time. I love your insight of all the mention tag names of this story, also Sasuke and Karin for addition. Such a refreshing way to tell their feeling, power and weakness. I like the beginning of this story when Konoha Eleven being together. It was a good start in telling how much of a big heart for friends in Sakura that would lead her to all of this.
Your story telling is great. I can't help to feel the pull between Sasori and Sakura by just reading certain words that secretly triggered them. That kind of moment feels so realistic, so human. It makes me keep reading. When I reach Sakura's feelings revelation, I remembered my own first crush years ago. When I reach her conclusion, I felt a huge relieve because I really think she deserves it. Those who can write this moment of Sakura is always deserve a read.
Another highlight is for Team Hebi/Taka relationship. Haven't met stories that do them justice, but here I found them likeable. This is what will happen if Sasuke didn't get too fed up with Tobi. But hey, this story won't be here if that happened.

I stayed up until 2 AM to finish this masterpiece. No words can express how much I love this story. Just one word, I can describe this story: perfect. The way you write is just crazy detailed, you left nothing to imagination and you literally slapped a whole scene at our faces which is mesmerizing, that I couldn’t stop reading. God, I can’t stop gushing, and I better end this by saying: holy shit you are AMAZING.

I never thought that this pairing could work out so well. You did a tremendous job portraying their characters. I love Sasori in this. Though I wish Sasuke could have made a better apology to Sakura. Your grammar is perfect by the way. Have you written your own book yet? If you havent, consider writing one. It would surely be a hit. That's how good you are. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story.

This is my 1st saso/saku story and I am so glad I found it. You did an amazing job with Sasori staying in character and adding romantic elements to his personality. This is one of my favorite Naruto fanfics and one I will definitely be rereading every once in a while!

Good god I came in looking for a light read, I'm a huge itasaku shipper but this fic really made me cheer for sasosaku omg u made me a shipper, which might sound easy but it isn't. Ur writing is impeccable and beautiful and the whole story was very well done. Cheers x

And I wanted to say thank you for writing this and giving me another perspective on Karin. I never liked her but you wrote in a really different way that made me kinda appreciate her. Thank you. I love your characterization, I loved the way you wrote Sasuke, I've read too many fics where he is basically a robot, but he seemed so alive and human. I also loved your Karin, she wasn't ignored or annoying, you wrote her well. You wrapped it all up rather well in my opinion.

I don't think I can properly convey how much I enjoyed this, but thank you for this glorious piece of writing.

I'm fucking crying. Not on the outside, because all my tears have already been spent on previous chapters, but there's a rainstorm in my heart and I don't have an umbrella for it.

I think I might go into a brief depression over the ending of this series, considering I spent the last 48 or so hours binging it, starting from Schadenfreude.

This is quite literally the best SasoSaku I've ever read, and also one of the best Naruto fanfictions, too. It's strange, because SasoSaku is something I thought I would only read for smut, but I guess I was looking in all the wrong places, or else I would have found this and appreciated this a long time ago.

The ending is just perfect. There were so many good things about this story, from plot, to character and development, to the frickin' grammar. I swear, Suigetsu, Sai, Deidara, and Naruto had one of the best one-liners.

You did Ino a great service, too. She's a character I don't normally read for, but I found myself rooting for Ino more than Sakura at times. Her interactions with Sasori and Deidara were hilarious, even if the latter's were minimal. She completely shut down Sasori's cool attitude in a way that made me wheeze and chuckle.

Also, that Sakura-Hinata-Ino vs. Konan fight was just amaze-balls.

And the theme of chess, of kings and queens and pawns and the sheer gamble of it... I really love how you implemented it to suit the characters' motivations and actions.

Your action scenes were good, your group dynamics were great, the romance was good... Gee, there's not a lot of things I don't like about this fic, if any at all. Normally, I find myself wanting the story to be longer, but there's something about this story that just doesn't leave me wanting more in a GOOD way. It was the perfect ending for me, like a door that's half-open instead of fully open. My own personal interpretation of things afterward is Sakura living the rest of her days out in bliss with Sasori and Deidara. Never mind that it doesn't make complete sense, seeing as she would have to return to Konoha, but, ah, live and let live.

This is also one of the rare fics that features a likeable Karin who isn't only there for comic relief or to be a foil to other "better" kunoichi, so thank you for that.

It also showed the duplicity and manipulations of Orochimaru's character, and I found it a pleasant surprise that Sasori was such an "abysmal liar". In a way, it fits him in a way I thought it never would, considering his profession. Obviously, he could get away with lying to lesser shinobi who don't know what to look for, but the fact that he never once explicitly lies to Sakura is something to be appreciated.

Also, the brutality of Pein's invasion. Wow. I can't believe you killed of Kakashi. This is quite possibly the only fic that I've ever read that kills of Kakashi that's not a time travel fic.

Thank you so much for this amazing read. I sure won't be forgetting it anytime soon. There's something timeless about this, fittingly. SasoSaku-this version at least-will live on in my heart.
