![]() Author has written 19 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Bleach, and Harry Potter. Hi everyone! Imagine my surprise when I was about to update my profile only to find out its... vanished... I think some little toddler fingers at my phone (which has the FFN app is responsible). My apologies. I'm sure it seemed very strange to you as much as I nearly had a heart attack. Fanfic Updates: Clinging to Hope: Chapter 7 is in progress, and I expect it to be done in the next few days. I only have four scenes left to write. A little unexpected surprise happened while I was writing it, and the plot deviated just a little, but I love the added richness, so I'm going to allow the deviation. Before you ask, it's a surprise. Shh, lol. Siamese Surprise: On hiatus. All Other stories are currently one-shots that I consider complete. I will not be adding chapters to any of them. A Little About Me I'm a busy mother of two in my thirties. If I'm not cooking, I'm cleaning. If I'm not cleaning, I'm supervising kids that like to pick on each other all the time. If I'm not doing that, I'm doing school runs... on a bicycle that has a two child trailer buggy. Its adorable but really hard work. Ireland is full of hills, and awful weather. But it is what it is. I love writing and there's always a story floating around my head. So, yeah, I'm fairly boring for the most part. My Pet Peeves on This Site I'm a no nonsense type of person; online the power of anonymity makes people brave. This braveness gives them the impression they can bully others or flame stories. That's the main reason why I despise the forums on this site, where any kind of competition or private chat is involved. I truly don't understand flaming though. If a story is terrible, I usually abandon reading it. I certainly wouldn't waste my time writing a review about something I hated. These people also think its ok to force writers to break away from their daily lives to update stories that, let's face it, mean nothing! We spend years plotting out idea's, creating chapter plans, researching wiki from the book/series/manga, we collaborate with other writers in different time zones that may be co-writers, betas, soundboards or proof readers. When all that is said and done, my average chapter comes in at 7-10 thousand words. The finished product is but a result of a lot of very hard work. We writers don't get paid, we lose sleep, we lose time spent with our family, and all cause plot bunnies won't leave us alone. It's NOT to please YOU!!! So your reviews to the effect of ADD MORE SMUT or UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!! are ignored. Just letting you know. You don't like it? Tough! Trust me, I get screamed at by small kids day in, day out, your cries for change your story to add special scenes, or more frequent updates, get drowned out by them. Don't waste your breath. I write because I want to, WHEN I WANT TO!! |
