I love this story. Your portrayal of Yugi is so beautiful. He's my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh character, and you're made him both fragile and strong at the same time. Also, you've definitely captured the magic between him and Atem. You're so talented, and I'm really enjoying this story. I know your last update was in 2012, and so it's unlikely this story will be finished, but I just wanted you to know that I think it's great. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story!

So I found this fanfic in my bookmarks from years ago...and I remembered all over again why I loved it! I don't suppose you had anything else written out? Really wanting to know if Atem becomes human, Bakura dies,takes Atem's place/etc, and just...urgh I wish there was more to read! TT-TT

I find this story well written and enjoyable to read. What prevented you from finishing it? I think I’ll look you up on that other site you mentioned just in case. Good work though and thank you for sharing it. :)

This story is wonderful, I'm so sad it's not over. I wanted an update. but it seems compromised. Yugi and Atem are so adorable I really wanted a nice ending for them.

Hello! I've recently stumbled across this absolute gem (eight years too late) and was wondering if you planned on ever finishing it. I usually try not to get into unfinished works but I started reading it and couldn't help myself. Have you thought of completing it? Did you complete it on a different site? If you're still active, please answer. (Of course, it really doesn't seem likely you will finish it considering how long ago it was, but I thought I'd ask.) So sorry to bother you!

Before I started reading this, I was soooo sure it was completed. When I got to finish chapter 19, I realized it wasn't and I kept finding a 'next' button, and then I checked the last time it updated, and it was in the year 2012, and I started panicking at that point...seriously though, I was super super sure this fic was completed.

You know, I can picture an ending with Yugi dying, and his last wish being to stay with Atem forever in some type of loop hole, them sharing a kiss, then as soon as Yugi dies Atem turns to ash.
I'm serious. It occurred to me when I was reading this yesterday like half way through.
But now instead of the incident happening at a hospital, it's now at Yugi's home.
