 Author has written 105 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Twilight, Host, D N Angel, and Hetalia - Axis Powers. I'm Fran and I love dumbass characters like Edward Elric and APH England. Long ago, I used to write very often, but now it's a rare feat. However, I post something every once in a while. I'm softpeetabread, edwardslostalchemy, haru-michis, and spooky-fruk on tumblr, come say hello! o 7 o 6 o 12 o I MET VIC MIGNOGNA AT OMNICON 2012 IN TEXAS. I feel so cool. The ‘Author has written…’ thing lies. I have 250 stories in reality. Most of those are in two collections, while the rest stand on their own, and 1 is on my account. I am convinced that Rihanna likes the pairing Soul & Maka from Soul Eater. Why? Because her song is titled S&M. Soul&Maka. Hahahaha! Hetalia gets its own section here... My OTP of OTPs is FrUK! Other OTPs include PruHun, AmeBela, RoGer, EngBel, SpaBel, Holytalia, SwissAus, and NedCan. I like other things, too! -Big Brother England and Baby America I believe Mexico should be a girl. The character has not been shown in Hetalia, which is why I always presume Mexico should be a female. Let me explain why: because of the little tensions Mexico and America have had in the past. It's quite obvious they would have sexual tensions because America took Texas and half of Mexico's territory, and because of the recent failure of Fast & Furious Operation. Also, because a couple of years ago, Miss Universe was Mexican, and she represents the beauty of the country, and she is actually intelligent and put her education first before going into modeling. Also, I think women, in general, are capable of fighting in wars (look at Hungary, who kicks a lot of ass in Hetalia). She can fight the war on drugs that Mexico is going through. Why I diss FMA M fanfics... This is for romance-genre fics. Although I am 19 and I have read smut, lemons, limes, and anything that has citrus in it (because I can't really avoid it), I can't help but feel like it's all the same and each story will have the same ending and/or content. Sex. That is the only objective of the stories in that rating. It may be cool to authors to write about their favorite characters having sex with other characters, so I won't really complain because it's the writer's likings and choices. Whatever. What bothers me is that the situations are not in tune with the characters' qualities and they are not as realistic as they should be. For example, if Ed & Winry are going to have an intimate moment, make it an Ed x Winry moment. As in, make the moment as AWKWARD as possible. I've read so many lemons where they just do it. And that's it. That's the story. It ends with Ed and Winry lying next to each other, drifting off to sleep, happy. That may be good for a one-shot, but an author must keep in mind that they are inexperienced and dorky. They WILL mess up. And they also tend to get fierce, so there should be some kind of attitude there, such as Winry trying to top Ed, but Ed's pride gets in his way and he always tries to top. Something like that. And I fail to see that in most fics. In (mostly) every fic, I see Ed being sweet, or dog-slobbering, or Winry acting like a little ditzy whore that offers herself to Ed in the most degrading way. They need to BLUSH and do something stupid first. And Ed should get terribly nervous; so should Winry. Most M rates are PWP, which sucks because Ed x Winry deserves a plot. I also noticed that some lines are used over and over again by everyone. I feel like every M rate is the same thing, just written by a different author, and introduced in a different way. The rest of the content is just repeating what everyone else writes like there's a kind of list to follow. Ed and Winry spice things up a lot, therefore they should spice up those kinds of moments as well. It's essential and that's what makes it Ed x Winry. Why don’t you write one, you asshole, instead of criticizing like that? Because I don’t fucking feel like it. Maybe I will some day. But not today. Today, I just rant. Okay, I will tell you all something that will shock you: The Dentist is NOT evil. I come from a family of dentists and I turned out fine. For those of you who diss the first FMA anime without even watching, shut the fuck up. Please. And if you have seen both animes and say that the 2nd one is better than the first, shut the fuck up. First of all, the 1st anime is original in its own way. Brotherhood is the manga in action. I will not deny that it is amazing and just about one of the best shows I’ve EVER seen. But it doesn’t mean that the 1st anime sucks. It just has a different story line. And don’t start saying bullshit about it if you saw it first and then Brotherhood because you wouldn’t have loved Brotherhood if you hadn’t watched FMA first. So, if you’re going to comment on how the 1st FMA anime sucks and Brotherhood is better, take a moment to think about the differences and the reasons for why they have different plots. Arakawa did not want for the endings to be the same. That would so totally suck. So, if you want to blame someone, blame the cow. And if you’re going to criticize FMA, shut the fuck up. I’m a proud and strong supporter of the pairing Ed x Winry. It’s canon and I started liking it just because Youtube had a bunch of adorable videos that featured them, because of the Chibi Party, and because of the 2nd OP for the 1st anime, where Winry held out her hand for Ed to reach. I blame the videos for my preference. I didn't even know if they were a legit pairing, but decided to just keep going with my mental flow. I never really knew they were canon until I understood what canon was. I had seen the word around here countless times, and I knew they were meant to be (because there are some feelings that are right), but it’s not like I knew the actual meaning. They are considered authentic (the meaning of canon). Disregarding that, I still support it. That’s why I have so many stories about them. They make a really great couple and I’m glad that Ms. Arakawa didn’t do the whole cliché love thing where the couple kisses at the end. It would have really ruined it. So that’s why I’ve written this: On Edward Elric, Winry Rockbell, and the end of FullMetal Alchemist manga... Okay, so there's this debate with many EdWin fanss that say that there should have been a kiss at the end of the anime (Brotherhood) and manga. Guess what? Too bad! I'm a total EdWinaholic and I'm fine with the outcome because in case you all haven't noticed, it's SHOUNEN for a reason. Plus, Arakawa didn't know how to draw kissing scenes, so I can't question her artistic abilities. So unless it's in the upcoming 2011 movie, there will be no kiss. The only way it will be there is if we write it ourselves, send it to Arakawa, make her draw and make it official! :P (loses seriousness) They get married and have 2 kids, what else do you want? The scenes where they make the kids? Go to the Hentai section and get it. If you do, don't tell me; I don't want to know the kinky things Ed and Winry do. But seriously people, there is a fine line between fanaticism and realism. Fans, get real and get over it. I know, it goes against my EdWin beliefs, principles, constitution, documents, declarations, stories, and thoughts themselves, but I accepted it and let it be. So let it go! Stories: I will NOT edit what has been published because I want to see my improvement throughout my stories. I'll just make a really quick fix if I'm pissed off when I spot a mistake after a fic is freshly posted. I'm not an English major, okay guys? So if I get some stuff wrong, like my grammar (which sucks sometimes because I want to perform complicated stunts), or if I'm making the characters too OOC, point it out and tell it to me straight so that next time, I don't commit the mistake.
