... I wonder if it's still safe to say that writing Fanfiction is still kinda new to me? :/ I started pretty late to be honest, like when I was about 18/19 or so, and one of the first things you'll learn about me is that I'm HECTICALLY slooooooooow with it. Just the correct amount of motivation always seems to come around only now and then and in small, disposable packages. :/ Even if I myself am excited about writing a particular story for months on end, if something else distracts me (coughlife'slittleissuescough)... don't ever hold your breath waiting for a fic update. XD; I don't have an impressive amount of stories in my collection (points to previous reason why) and hardly any that will make it to this account... Buuuut~ I'm trying to get out of this annoying faze and get down to some serious writing!! :D

I bare a few fics on my LiveJournal account for anyone who wants to read my ancient and very embarrassing work when I was still 'learning'. XD Just ask me to add you 'cause they're all on the friends' lock.

As a writer I...

-- ... Love reading other authors' fics!? :D As mentioned before, I try to learn as much as possible about writing styles and what others delight in reading.

-- Try to cator for everyone which is why I expand my types of genres, that's also why some fics are marked PG-13 or ALL etc.

-- Write in third-person (narrative form basically) as I prefer it to first-person (character's point of view) and never in script form.

-- Don't write for a fandom until I feel I bear enough information about its storyline and characters. Once an idea comes to mind, I tend to 'brood' on it and see whether it'll form a decent enough story, and if so, I then jot down a few notes and then hit the research.

-- Make sure everything's 'readable' with as few mistakes as possible before posting. And I do tend to brood over it for a couple of hours before posting, re-reading just to make sure all's well.

-- Don't use profane language in my fics other than the words: damn, hell, bastard and crap.

-- Love reviews!! :D I give and adore receiving!! Even ones like 'plz rite moar'. Constructive critisism, yes, I like, as long as it is meant to assist and not to shoot down in flames. I'll never bite back at anyone, but please do take it to heart that it can dampen spirits and really... it's just uncalled for and simply idiotic. Fanfic is suppose to be fun! So please dear flamers, don't tear us apart. :(

Strengths: Um... hmm, that's a good question, actually. o_O

- This could also qualify as a weakness, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist; I refuse to abbriviate certain words 0r T0 TyPe lIeK tHiS!!

- Everything in my fics have to be typed correctly; Spell-check is a MUST USE!! Names have to be capitalized, paragraphs broken up where they should, layout acceptable etc. I will not post a fic until it meets these demands. XD

- Gonna flatter myself now, but I like to think I have a more or less satisfactoy grasp of characters' behaviors in my fandoms; like how they'd react in certain situations or what they'd say to each other and how they would say it... I think I can balance a story out alright; like I know how and where to start it, where and what I want all to happen as a means to action and conversation etc., and how to end it.

- Character speech/conversation. I'm far better at writing dialogue scenes than action.

Weaknesses: ... XD To be perfectly honest, it's quite surprising that I even tell people I'm a writer.

- I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed; I often have to look up words' meanings 'cause I always seem to forget or just don't always know. XD Yeah, so, that rules me out for knowing a vast amount of impressive words (don't ever let my age fool you! I'm clueless half the time). If it weren't for the dictionary/thesaurus, I'd be darned!

- TERRIBLE speller as I'm sure you've come to notice! (Thank you, Spell-check) I sometimes even struggle with grammar, even though English has always been my primary language, I often seem to make silly little errors from time to time. So I'm no English major or whatever with a fancy degree or anything.

- I sometimes feel like I give all my favourite characters way too attention as 90 percent of all my fics are based on them more than any other characters. I just love my favs, what can I do? XD

- Action scenes!! Don't take me near 'em!! (Dies)

- I have a horrid habit of frequently leaving out a word or two in my fics while type... or sometimes I even type word, that could be reffered to as a 'positive' and for some reason, type it as a 'negitive' or visa-versa eg: I've often said 'can' in my head, but end up typing 'can't', throwing off the sentence. And re-reading often don't help squat 'cause my brain automatically reads it as it's suppose be written. Go figure. :S

Favourite genres: A lotta the time depends on the actual story itself, as well as the mood I'm in at the time, but the majority of my fav stories run towards the Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Humour, Friendship, Family and Romance genres. Also go totally fangirl for chibi-fics (canons that have been turned into cute little kids/minitures and then the others have to take care of them), provided they come with a sensible storyline with plenty of 'quirks', or ones where my fav characters have to take care of some kids. ;D ... But that also depends on the fandom, so it's a tough choice.

The Mary Sue of all OCs!!: I like OCs. :D But if I'm reading into a new fandom, evidently prefer solely canon-based fics, but I do infact like Original Characters (ADORE many actually). Read once that even a painfully Mary Sue type can be pulled off, and I personally believe it. :D I'm guilty of creating some that I'm pretty sure are MS (crack fic based however)!! There's far to many details to write down on the matter, but generally it all lies in the fic itself and how they're presented which could determine whether or not they're actually likable. I sometimes prefer a canon/OC based fic to a certain canon pairing. Simply 'cause there're not that many female characters I like in my fandoms, such as the Kai/Hilary pairing in Beyblade. XP Waaaay prefer a decent OC in that department!! My personal favoured kinds are ones that're kind and supportive towards the canons and don't outclass them in any way (unless they're a villian, of course). At the end of the day, they're all just peoples' own creations and what they want to see in the fandoms. It's not like they're in the actual story/show/series etc. afterall, so flaming authors with Mary Sues and all is kinda... well, dumb I think. :/ Just ignore them if you don't like them.

Shark Instinct! (Street Sharks) ... On HIATUS!! Was my first ever fanfic and is in need of some serious rewriting!! Will get there... eventually. I'd advise everyone to stay clear of it for the time being. The Street Sharks' 'animal' side begins to over power their minds, thus causing trouble for their allies and themselves. With four wild mutant sharks on the prowl, what are Bends and Lena to do in order to protect them from Dr Paradigm?

Ancient Shark! (Street Sharks) ... Plot still in development. Contains one of my OCs. The Street Sharks have their hands full when Dr. Paranoid creates himself a new Seaviatte: a Megalodon Shark named Lock-Jaw!!

Tales From The Abbey! (Beyblade) ... In progress. Five boys. One mad man. One secret training facility... Trouble brews. A collection of one-shots set at random centered around Kai and the Demolition Boys during thier childhood years thriving under the roof of Balkov Abbey and in the dreaded clutches of Boris Balkov. Non-yaoi, no pairings.

I See The Light! (Beyblade) ... In progress. Kai centric. In an attempt to redeem him of his most dire mistake yet, Dranzer sends his young wielder back through time during the incident on Lake Baikal. But Kai soon discovers that the world he'd been sent back to isn't quite how he once recalled it to be... And nor are the people he thought he once knew... Set during episode forty five 'Breaking The Ice' of Season one. Turns into an AU. No real pairings.

Grandmother Hiwatari! (Beyblade) ... In progress. Kai centric fic. Set directly after the third season, G-Revolution. With his grandfather firmly behind iron bars, Kai truly believed he had no other family left to turn to (besides his friends, of course). But when an unexpected visitor suddenly appears out of the blue at the Granger dojo one evening, he soon realizes his life was about to undergo a drastic alteration. (Contains OCs)

Three Weeks With Mr. D! (Beyblade) ... Plot still in development. Mr. Dickinson finally has some time off work... and he's stuck babysitting the eight year old grandson of none other than the multi-millionare, Voltaire Hiwatari, after a near death incident occurred at the Abbey. (Set pre-series)

Bit-beasts: Only Human! (Beyblade) ... Plot still in MAJOR development. The BBA Revolutions' bitbeasts tempereroly become human. Still requires official title.

Talk To Your Shrink! (Beyblade) ... Plot under construction. AU. Tara Valkov is a young psychologist who is given the most frightening task of working with a major criminal mastermind, Kai Hiwatari, but as she 'progresses', she soon begins to discover many heart wrenching secrets about the young man... even some that could render him inoccent of suspected murder. (Contains OCs). KaixOC (Tara), Kaix?, one-sided RaulxOC (Tara), TalaxJulia. Possibly more.

Horse Whispering! (Beyblade) ... Plot in development. AU. Inspired by 'The Horse Whisper'. A young rider, Kai Hiwatari, is severly injured in an accident involving one of his best friends, and his horse, Dranzer. Both are mentally unsettled, until a descision is made to take Dranzer across Russia to a ranouned horse tamer. But everybody gets more than they bargained for when they discover just who this tamer is, and how she comes to tame more than just Dranzer... (Contains OCs) KaixOC (Tara), other pairings undecided.

Double Trouble! (Tekken) ... Needs a proper title. Plot under development. Two stories in one. Lee Chaolan is stuck babysitting his five year old nephew while a frantic Jun is off on a mission. Meanwhile, in Korea, a Tae Kwon Do master takes in an orphaned redhead he found on the streets one night during a storm.

Living a nightmare with the Devil Gene posessing his mind, the last thing Jin Kazama would've expected was to wake in the care of none other than Mr. Chaolan. But when he starts to fall into mental depression, an unexpected bond begins to form between nephew and uncle... with a little aid from a certain redhead.

Extreme Dinosaurs: Raptor Saga! (Extreme Dinosaurs) ... Plot under construction. OCs mainly. Four Raptors. Experimented clones. Deadly weapons of destruction made to help conquer the galaxy... or so Argor Zardock had planned. But what if they had their own plan? Marked as escaped fugitives, they must now adapt to surviving in an enviroment they know nothing about.

Samurai Guardian! (Samurai 7) ... Full plot under constrution. Alternate ending: no Samurai die. Contains OCs. After the battle with Ukyo, the Samurai have to adapt to a lifestyle of having no real purpose any longer, but it's harder for some than others: a certain red coat namely. Kyuzo agrees to accompany Kambei to another city one day (one much like Kougakyo) in hopes of finding purpose for his blunt swords. He manages to find a job as a bodyguard once again... but with a twist: to the magistrate's daughter, and life promised to never be the same again as she wants nothing of the sort. Not to mention another guard doesn't want him near the girl either... Has Kyuzo truly met his match this time? And could this possibly lead to Kanna be under threat a second time? KyuzoxOC(Saya), other pairings undecided.

Fire's Light! (Beyblade) ... In progress. As mentioned, snippets of Beyblade episodes with my OC, Tara Valkov, exploring the realtionships between her, Kai, the Bladebreakers (BBA Revolutions) and the Demolition/Blitzkrieg Boys. KaixOC(Tara) dubbed 'Flareshipping'.

Beyblade/Bakugan Battle Brawlers crossover! ... Title?. (Crack fic) After the tragic passing of his mother, Shun Kazami is left to fill out her single dying wish: that he reunites with the brother he never really got to know as a child... Kai Hiwatari! And boy, does he have a lot to explain.

Princess Protection Program! (Beyblade)... Inspired from the movie by the same title. When the stunning princess of Australia's life is in danger, Russian detective, Tala Valkov, brings her to an isolated area of Moscow, where he stays, for safety... however, he has his younger sister to worry about too. Will the two girls get along? (Contains OCs) pairings in developmet.

Love Blooms At Whitney Prep! (Beyblade) In progres. Co-written with SouthernDragon. Contains OCs. Sabrina Wilson, an exchange student from Australia attends Whitney Prep school along with her roommate, Tara Valkov, who longs to date the famous Kai Hiwatari, but with an overprotective older brother, Tala, she might never get the chance. Luckily, Sabrina is there to help keep him at bay... but as Kai gets to know each girl better, just who will he be falling for in the end? AU with pairings, KaixOC(Tara/Sabrina), TalaxOC(Sabrina).

Beyblade: The Last Airbender! (Beyblade) ... Needs a title. Basically like Avatar: The Last Airbender but with Beyblade characters. Still in thought. Tyson is said to be the Avatar, a great warrior that masters all of the four elements and has to protect the world from the Fire Nation and its infamous prince, Kai. During his quest, he meets the last of the exotic light benders, Tara, and her brother, Tala, Max, a water bender and Ray, an earth bender. (Contains OCs). KaixOC(Tara).

Sakura Storm! (Beyblade) In mind. AU. Kai, prince of a clan of samurai warriors, trains in secret in the ways of Busido. Tara, an orphan raised to be a deadly ninja from the opposing side, together with her brother. Fate intertwinges these two different teenagers. But where do their hearts lie? They're sworn enemies, and their clans will prove this. Whatever the outcome... there promises to be bloodshed. (Contains OCs). KaixOC(Tara), one-sided KanexOC(Tara)... possible others.

Aura Aurora! (Pokemon) ... Plot under construction while inprogress. AU with alternate story to the 8th movie: Lucario And The Mystery Of Mew. After sacrificing his life and emprisoning Lucario inside the mystic staff, Sir Aaron knows that his trusted partner shall awaken many years later and continue his duty of protecting the kingdom by teaching the ways of Aura to another in order to assist him... but when this occurs, and Lucario finally meets this so-called potential pupil of his... in his wildest dreams he'd never expected it to be a sixteen year old girl! Pokemon series with my OC, Tara Ayers, who begins her journey with a fearful Ponyta and over comes hardships, battles and makes many friends along the way, while she's not being hassled by Team Rocket and discovering many secrets about her herself. Gargoyles! (Beyblade) AU. Many years ago, a wizard created a group of stone gargoyles and brought them to life in order to aid a kingdom that was under seige. By day, they were statues. By night, fierce winged warriors. Over the years, they were preserved and now stood at the top of New York City, but maintained their purpose by protecting the citizens from crime and evil in the shadows. However, it was these very acts that rose the curiosity of the local newspaper agency, and young Tara Valkov became the chosen reporter to investigate.
