![]() Author has written 45 stories for Ninja Turtles, Misc. Books, and TV Commercials. Update as of June 30, 2009: For those of you who have PM-ed me concerned about the previous update, please do not worry. I am unsure if that will really be the case or not, so we'll see. Update as of June 5, 2009: I am getting the feeling that "Double Helix" will be my final TMNT fanfiction. I just can't get my heart into it anymore :( Update as of Febuary 14, 2009: I have decided to give up on the TMNT television show getting any better (BTTS? Ugh!), so have completely stopped watching it for the past several months. Unfortunately, this means that I don't think about the show as much... Update as of Spetember 21, 2008: Due to the large amount of homework this semester as well as the fact that I am now working much longer hours than I used to, all responses or postings of stories may take a while. I'm very sorry for this but I hope you understand. Ooh, a great big blank spot, just waiting for me to fill! Hi! Nice to meet you all! I am a Ninja Turtle fan(atic), so almost all my stories are about them. ;-) OK, a little bit about myself: I am a college junior, studying American Sign Language Interpreting. I'm a Christian, so you will never see any sexual stuff in any of my stories and I will use cursing ONLY if it is absolutely required for a dramatic scene. Don't like it? Deal. I'm not going to change. You'll get over it. I'll respect you if you respect me. I also write poetry, play the piano, and have a very messy room. Status on various projects: In the Clutch of Evil -- I'm trying to figure out how to fit it with everything that happened in the Ninja Tribunal season, and it's taking longer than I expected. Holiday Trilogy (I'll be Home for Christmas, Resolutions, and Broken Shells) -- FINISHED! YAY!! All 147 pages and 37 chapters are done!. Not to bad for what was originally going to be a oneshot for Christmas. LOL! 100 prompts-- Yes, you read that right. 100 prompts, 100 oneshots/short stories based off of the 100 prompts list at LJ (http:///tmnt_100/profile) Um...I'm not actually a member, but a friend of mine suggested this so I thought I'd try. They're coming out slowly but surely. Zelda: The Lost Tribe -- It's still pretty much just a plot bunny. I haven't done anything with it other than write out the plot so we'll have to wait and see if it goes anywhere. Double Helix -- In progress :) Various oneshots and drabbles -- never know when they'll show up. Favorites: Music:I'm not really fond of hard rap (where it's just yelling the whole time and I can't understand what they're saying), but I do enjoy a lot of different types so long as there is no swearing or sexual references. Currently, I enjoy everything from Lifescapes (New Age/Classical) to El Salvador (Latin) to Linkin Park and TobyMac (Metal and hiphop). Superchick's Beauty from Pain album is my favorite right now. Food: Blueberries! Book (really, I have too many to list here, but these are my tops): The Bible. Anything by C.S. Lewis, Lewis Carrol, or Tolkien, The Looking Glass Wars Trilogy by Fred Beddor, The Ballad of Wuntvor Trilogyby Craig Shaw Gardner, classic fairy tales, all of the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer, the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, and many others. But really, I'll read almost anything except for romance novels (can't stand those). I especially enjoy classic comics. Manga/Anime: Ok, so I'm totally addicted. In fact, my bookshelf is overflowing... Right now I'm reading Ruroni Kenshin, The Kindachi Case Files, Case Closed, Mushishi, Yu Yu Hakusho, Nabari No Ou (A new one, but total awesomeness), Bleach, Gintama, and Kingdom Hearts. As for anime, all the previous listings that are anime as well as Mystical Detective Loki Ragnarok. I did watch Death Note until Light killed L and I got so mad I couldn't watch anymore. .'' Movie: TMNT, The Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Star Wars I-VI, The Princess Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many others. TV Shows: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ('03), Psych, Storm Hawks, Numb3ers (Sometimes. Other times I just get bored), Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go, Get Ed, Power Rangers Mystic Force (OK, so I only watch it because I think Nick--the red ranger--is way cute), and a couple of others that I can't think of right off the top of my head. Sport: Taekwondo (I'm an orange belt) Quotes: if they aren't in quotation marks, then I don't know who said them. They are real quotes though, and are from a quote book my Grandmother gave me. "Knowledge is understanding a tomato is a fruit. True wisdom is knowing not to put one in a fruit salad." – Georgia (katiesmeghead) We like someone because. We love someone although. "Behold! God is my Salvation, I will trust and not be afraid." – Isaiah 12:2a Death is not extinguishing the light; it is putting out the lamp because dawn has come. “Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power.” – Lao Tzu Housework is something you do that nobody notices unless you don't do it. "There is a madness to my method." – me Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much. “Never fight an inanimate object.” – P. J. O’Rourke “Facts are important for your story ... so be sure to make up good ones.” – Mort Castle Blessed is he who, having nothing to say, refrains from giving wordy evidence of the fact. “Chaos is the score upon which reality is written.” – Henry Miller "Writers block is knowing which colors you want to use but being unsure of the finished picture." – me "You push on the gas and it goes." – my mom in reference to a car Between my brother and two of his friends discussing a video game: Copy/paste thingy: You know you live in the year 2000+ when... 1.) You accidentaly enter your password on a microwave. 2.) You haven't played solitare with real cards for years 3.) The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is they don't have a screenname or my space 4.) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the buttons on the TV 6.) Your boss doesn't even have the ability to do your job. 7.) As you read this list you keep nodding and smiling. 8.) As you read this list you think about sending it to all your friends. 9.) and you were too busy to notice number 5. 10.) You scrolled back up to see if there was a number 5. 11.) Now you are laughing at yourself stupidly. 12.) Put this in your profile if you fell for that, and you know you did.
