TEARS FROM MY EYEBALLS! No, seriously, that story just hit me so hard! I mean I should have seen the twist, the genre was supernatural the whole nobody talking to Mikey thing should have given it away. But to just linger on for 40 years like that? And. . . . and Leo's been the only one of his family alive for all this time? I gotta hand it to ya, this is one of the few fics that made me cry reading it. The last part when Leo was speaking to his dead brother was what really killed me, there was just so much mixed emotion in there. I guess stories like this are so profound because it could easily become reality in the turtle's world. Aside from April and Casey who both have their own lives, the guys really don't have anyone else and unless some circumstance causes them all to die simultaneously, this probably will end up being the fate of one of them. That's some pretty heavy stuff and you're one talented writer to convey it. I think I need some quiet time now, that was really intense. . .

I just wanna say congrats, I read this story three time within 15 mins and all three time I started to cry... Good story, sad but good

You made me cry. Somehow I never realized Mikey was dead, though some parts made me wonder - I mean, how can MIKEY be quiet? Lol. Good fic. :)

This suprised me. I thought Mikey was still alive until the end when I realized, he was dead. (Stupid me didn't see this story as rated Tragedy/Supernatural.)

The plot twist threw me for a loop. Wow, I had to reread the fic 2, almost 3 times to fully comprehend Mikey's position in the story. I really enjoyed it, especially the tidbit of humor you attempted to stay with Mikey despite the tragedies. Great story!

This fic has me in full blown tears and sniffles. That is so sad, and beautifully written. I didn't get that Mikey was dead until Leo said so though, heh. Which made it even sadder. I'm gonna go off and bawl for a little while now.
