At the moment (and for a shockingly long time for such a fickle creature as the Fish): Transformers.
At all times: Superheroes. Pretty much all of them, and anything that could be taken as a superhero genre (hello, "Avatar: The Last Airbender", or "Avatar: The Legend of Aang" as it is over here).

I love me my comedy, romance, action, mystery, sci-fi (clearly ;D) and yep, pretty much anything I can sink my literary teeth into. I read a lot, and widely, though outside of fanfiction I do prefer classic literature to modern fiction. My favorite is -- and has been since I was nine years old -- "A Tale of Two Cities", by Charles Dickens, but I'm really fond of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" after having studied it so intensely for my A2 English Lit. paper =) As for movies, again, I watch just about anything except horror. That's the one genre I can't handle visually (it's alright in books, eh Stephen King?), though anything sexually explicit has me blushing red and running for cover ;) (Again, something I can just about handle when it's written word!)

TRANSFORMERS

Transformers: Genesis - In Progress

Welcome to Cybertron Academy, where the education of our students is our highest priority. But be sure to watch out for snooping government agencies, hidden alien technology, and top-secret pasts.

G1/'07 movie AU. The action is the focus, here; this is not primarily a story of romance, but there are many pairings featured. They include, but are not limited to: Jazz/Prowl, Optimus/Elita, Twins/Ratchet, Wheeljack/Bluestreak, Ironhide/Chromia, Mikaela/Sam, Skywarp/Thundercracker. When I say 'not limited to', I mean it very seriously. Pretty much every bog-standard fandom pairing appears in this fic (Starscream/Skyfire, Red Alert/Inferno, anyone?) as well as a few others (the Twins/Ratchet and the Wheeljack/Bluestreak were both inspired by ryagelle's fiction) and some pretty much cracky ones (Blackarachnia/Sunstreaker? What? XD). It's a big story, with lots of characters to play with =P

Original title was to be Transformers: Cybertron Academy, until Yamiyouka (my partner in crime for this venture) and I decided that that sounded just too narrow. Despite all appearances and all things considered, this story is only slightly AU, and merely begins in a British boarding school before branching out all over the place into a proper action story. It's been planned and refined within an inch of its life, and I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as Yamiyouka and I have enjoyed putting it together for you =)

Updates: Slightly erratic, especially around summertime. However, there shouldn't be more than a couple of months between them, and if there is, feel free to berate me for it. As an author I do tend to hoard chapters in case of updating emergencies, so you can pretty much count on there being at least one or two more chapters to come than are currently posted at any given moment.

As with most writers and creators, reviews act like spurs to the horse's back for us -- we both adore hearing what you think of our story (reviews make us preen insufferably ;D), even if it's just a word. Those of you who aren't good with reviewing (like me, I'll be the first to admit) needn't worry, because we get pretty much just as excited over our little brainchild being added to Story Alerts or Favorites as we do over reviews.

LEGION OF SUPERHEROES

Supervention - ON HIATUS

I am planning to come back to this baby some day, planning on cutting it down to a much smaller fic than intended in hopes of actually finishing it; but in the meantime my interests have wandered. I am really sorry, and I know that it is so annoying when an author does that, but it's better to put it on the back burner (way at the back...) possibly to be finished as something of a shadow of what I had originally planned than to just tell you there's no hope for it, right? =/ ... I do really like this story, so once day it may well return =)

POST SERIES: Evil does not die - and the Legion is still needed. But nothing is as easy as it seems, and after being given what should have been a simple assigment, the heroes are sucked into a twisted web of plots that threaten everything they know.

This is planned as a monster. Huge. Epic. A monstrous beast of a fanfic. In the aforementioned hopes of finishing it, however, it can easily be trimmed into the tidy core story that has already begun, rather than it branching off into a bazillion different arcs and subplots. For instance, I already know how it ends. That's more than can be said for most stories I write, and you can take that as a hopeful sign ;) To everyone with any affection for this story; you are all wonderful readers and I truly appreciate your support and interest. I hope you're not too mad at me for my fickleness, and that you'll actually be glad to see a resurgence in this story if it comes ^_^

DANNY PHANTOM

Phantasy - Complete

It starts with a boy in a cursed castle and a girl chased through a storm. And even though they both learn to love, will it be enough to save them from the enemies of their pasts?...based loosely on Beauty and the Beast. Danny x Sam.

The first big writing project I took on, I am proud of this thing even though it's old and my own mistakes bug the hell out of me =P Have some supernatural, happy-ending historical romance, DP style!

The FBI Series - Incomplete
1. Revenge - Complete

New FBI agent Sam Manson's first case is a whirlwind of action and mystery. Struggling with annoying teammates, meddling strangers and death threats, can Sam solve the clues in time to save a woman's life...?

A smallish something my muse couldn't resist =) Danny/Sam, of course, with some Phantom/Sam in there for some unknown-identity spice.

2. Mirages - Complete

Sam Manson's exciting case as a new FBI agent kicks off with a shocking discovery, soon turning into a race to save many lives, including her own...AU DxS

I'm not sure what's up with this one's summary... she's not THAT new of an agent... but oh well. A smallish sequel to the smallish something =)

3. Secrets - Complete

Still recovering from the traumatic incident on the bridge, with a new theft case, Sam is meeting new people, making new friends...and new enemies...AU DxS

Whew, look at younger!Fish go with her summaries' ellipses XD A smallish sequel to the smallish sequel of the smallish thing. Still the poor writing quality, but I still kind of enjoy these little ficbits =) You may have gathered that there was supposed to be more in this series, but I went off of Danny Phantom before that could happen. Which is a bit of a bummer, since even I am kind of excited to see what happened next XD Perhaps I'll write a oneshot for it, since with the series cancelled and therefore no longer feeding my muse, another installment to the series looks unlikely. Anyone interested in said oneshot say "FISHSTICKS"!

Interfere - Complete

Clockwork knew that the boy's future was intertwined with that of both worlds, and even though he knew that was just too much for the young boy to handle...he could not interfere. Oneshot.

As I think it says inside the story, this was the beginning of a big fic that never really caught my interest enough to do something about. This was its beginning, and with some buffing and neatening, it was acceptable enough to post.

TEEN TITANS

He's Only Human - Complete

The Teen Titans are a team of superheroes...but it is easy to forget that one of them is only human. What happens when the realization hits?

I'm kind of wary of rereading this one, actually, to give my summary of it. As I remember it... it's very childish and was obviously my first ever attempt at fanfiction. Thus it won't be deleted -- sentimental value means a great deal to this Fish -- and it's nice to have just another story up here that's complete rather than hanging 8D

Memoria - Complete

During a mission the Titans are separated from Robin. After hours of searching he's still missing and even as they resuce a mysterious stranger in need, the team is beginning to give up hope...

Wow, this one's almost embarrassingly bad but, again, sentimental value XD I was too old in 2007 to have been writing stories this cheesy...

STAR TREK

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time - Complete

It's been a hard couple of days. All Scotty wants is a sandwich.

Utterly shameless self-insertion. I had been having a tough time of it, went to see "Star Trek" XI, and this was the result. I know it's a little silly, but it's just un-silly enough for me to love it ^_^

STORM HAWKS

It Starts With the Beginning - ON HIATUS. Probably dead.

Every story has a beginning. Five kids met, made friends, made enemies...and became young legends... Genfic

What the hell else would it start with? Though I still have all my notes and things for this story, my "Storm Hawks" phase was over pretty fast, and this story has just about no hope. I'm very seriously considering just deleting this one, but I do so hate it when authors do that. ^^;

AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER

After CRoD, Azula returns to Mai and Ty Lee and brings them a surprise. It's been a long time...Oneshot.

I'm not entirely sure why this was written. This was just a scene I was wondering about, I suspect. Anyway, I rather like it, and I rather like that my stupidly overactive imagination didn't pull another epic tale out of it for me to begin and never end XD (It did, of course, I just forced myself not to bother with it, knowing that my "Avatar" phase would only last so long. And then came "Transformers"...)
