I'm glad you added this. I like the philosophical questions you wrote that somehow incorporated the whole Autobots living lnger than humans but their species come together regardless. just to point out a couple canon errors. Sam (and in this case Archie) was born on either Oct. 10, 1990 or Sept. 13, 1991. Hasbro states that Sam was born on Oct. 10, 1990, and his genology report indicates a 1990 birthday, but his driver's license in Revenge of the Fallen says he was born on September 13, 1991. Both dates are canon in their own ways. It's up to the fan to pick which one is right. The other canon error was Jazz's burial. Jazz's body was dumped into the ocean with the offline Decepticons, but they dumped Jazz honororably by using a trailer as a tomb for jazz and the soldiers lowering their heads respectfully when Jazz is placed in the trailer. This was detailed in IDW Revenge of the Fallen comics

The dead twin brother was a nice touch

The heart-to-heart paragraph of Bee's reactions to Sam's food choices is, hands down, one of the best moments in the whole transformers fandom. It got everything exactly right, the way Bee feels and the way he choses to appoach it, a wonderful take on the Autobot view of human lifespan, and both the emotional and rational response are powerfully written. Simply beautiful.

What a wonderful story! I adore your descriptions and writing style, especially the amazing POVs of both Judy and Sam.

I adore your Bumblebee just as much. He's so mature in his conversation with Judy and later during the second chapter, unlike his usual more playful attitude, you really feel his age and wisdom and also that pain of having lived and fought for millions of years as he talks. When Judy recalled that he's an intelligence agent, I got this mental picture in my head of Bumblebee as a calm and kind interrogator who gets people to talk just with the force of his personality and psychology. He's really a force to be reckoned with, even without his gun in hand.

I find this story to be quite interesting. This chapter though, I was mostly bemused once it got to the grave to discover that I'm sharing my birthday with Sam and his twin.

It's nice to see Judy protrayed as a realistic mother for once, not an "overprotective hen". Her fears for her family are very real, and completely understandable.

Something tells me Bumblebee's going to have to get used to playing therapist.
