In the aftermath of her near-disastrous romance with Willoughby, Marianne begins to take comfort in the calmer, quieter company of Colonel Brandon. When Napoleon escapes from Elba and Brandon returns to his regiment to fight in the Waterloo Campaign, will almost losing him forever make her realize just how much he means to her?

Anne accidentally leaves her journal in the garden at Uppercross Cottage, where it is found by none other than Frederick. One-shot.

A most 'improper' re-telling of Persuasion. Anne and Frederick recollect their past trysts while trying to cope with seeing each other again after 81/2 years. Mr. Thornton's mind is turned to his friend Mr. Hale during what should be a joyful season. But can it be joyful for those who have lost those dearest to them? And what of Mr. Hale's daughter and the burden she must bear? Is there a chance for happiness amid grief?

I always thought there should be a scene at the end of the miniseries where we actually saw things get resolved outright between Margaret and Mr. Thornton. I am expanding on this idea after a great beginning. Reviews are most welcome!

A modern twist on an old classic. Very loosely based on Bram Stoker's Dracula. (Rated for language and adult subject matter. I expect this to get quite violent and a bit sexy later on- you have been warned.)

Set a while after John's first, and not very successful, first proposal, Margaret and John come across each other in a public garden and Margaret tries to explain. This is my first fic so please don't judge me (too harshly). The actually story is better than the summary hopefully, however it can't compare with the actual book. Standard Disclaimer. It is the 8th anniversary of Helen Burns' death and Mr. Rochester notices Jane is distracted. When I wrote this, I was thinking of the 1983 version, but any version works.

Blanche Ingram ponders on some events from Jane Eyre towards the middle and end of the book.

Based on the TV mini-series, this story takes place after dinner but before the end of the evening. I always felt there was a scene missing that bridges the argument between Margaret and Mr. Thorton at the dinner party to him expressing is love for her after the riot the next day.

The very end of Jane Eyre, starting from when she comes back to Ferndean, told from Edward's point of view. Might eventually continue further than the book did.

PWP: About a month into their marriage, John is still swamped with work and keeps long hours managing accounts, forcing Margaret to take desperate measures...

A what-if set after the proposal, Jane has second thoughts.

In a moment of weakness Jane gives in to Mr. Rochester's pleas and follows him to France instead of leaving him. Can she find happiness there, or only ruin?

"If someone had told him one year ago that he would fall violently in love with a fairy, he would have laughed bitterly and proclaimed that love had forsaken him. But so he had - he had fallen in love with her." Edward's view of the proposal scene.

'North & South' AU. Rumours are flying around Milton about Margaret and the man at Outwood Station, and the way Mr Bell and Mr Hale see it, it would be best if she were married as soon as possible. Mr Thornton seems the most likely candidate...

Margaret/Thornton oneshot. Sometimes words are superfluous. Sometimes it is actions that speak volumes instead of trite sentiments.

- Inspired by Chapter 17 Mr. Rochester's guests have their first night of after-dinner activities in the parlor. Jane retreats early.

This is a twist on the original, a slightly different story-line with mostly your favorite characters. I hope you will like it-there will be surprises and lots of k-i-s-s-i-n-g! Please read and review!

you also feel that S&S lacks a bit "brandon and marianne" near the end? well, here it is: "how they finally got together" and "the wedding-night". The latter is very suggestive but in my eyes, it doesn't really qualify for an "m-rating". pls review!
