![]() Author has written 6 stories for Scarlet Pimpernel, Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility. Hello. I'm not going to tell you my real name, but you can call me Marguerite because I wish that that was my name. I like my name, but I think that Marguerite is even prettier than mine. I am a teenager and still in high school (one more year!) and have begun the college process... AAAAHHH!! SAVE ME!!! (sometimes I feel like I'm in over my head... la la la laa-aaaaa) MY NAME IS NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH PERCY WEASLEY! YUCH! I am devoted to Sir Percy Blakeney of The Scarlet Pimpernel. He was my first "literary love" I guess you could say... sigh... What else to tell you... I have a younger sister that I do not get along with at all. We are as different as night and day; we have the same parents, but we do not look anything alike and have opposing temperments. New tangent: My goal is to grow up and become rich and famous while helping the world, possibly through a career in international law. Je pense que je vais etudier le francais a l'universite parce que j'adore le francais. As you can see, I like french (I apologize for the lack of accent marks. For some reason, I can't get them to show up here.) However, I also love all things United Kingdom and my dream home is somewhere on the shores of Loch Lomond with a a handsome Scot by my side watching a lot of little Scots running around. I am a devoted swimmer and student (consequently I average about four to five hours of sleep during the school year) but I also play the piano and the clarinet. I am in the sweetest high school musical group ever and I hope to travel to Spain and Austria next summer when we go on tour. Some of my favorite things: swimming, the theater (I wish I did it...), MUSIC, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Jane Austen, Gladiator, The Lord of the Rings, my friends, my British Literature class, my school, swimming, clarinet, piano, my Advanced Writing classes, The Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Master and Commander, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, French, Scotland, WRITING, reading, and cravats. I TOTALLY have a thing for cravats. Music: I'm a big fan of Broadway. Fave shows: The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Phantom of the Opera, SPAMALOT (absolutely hysterical), The Civil War, Jekyll & Hyde, Les Miserables, and many, many others. I feel so blessed to be able to go to the theater on a regular basis (although I've never seen an actual Broadway musical on Broadway... it's on my list of things to do before I die). I also like basically anything other than rap. Yes, that does include classical music. Mozart and Rachmaninoff (sp?) are my favorite classical composers; I also love the finale to the New World Symphony. Finally: Howard Shore is my hero! I saw him in concert when he came to my (not-so-fair) city... It was amazing! swoons My favorite types of fanfiction: anything Jane Austen. I am also addicted to The Scarlet Pimpernel, Bridget Jones's Diary (movie version) although I am not sure why, and Jane Eyre. For those of you who read my stories. I am HORRIBLE about updating because life is so crazy. I apologize in advance for the wait period between stories. Currently, I also have a non-fanfiction idea running around in my brain that I hope will someday turn into a full-fledged novel, so getting that baby out is going to cut into my fanfic time. I hope you enjoy my stories! quotes: "I'm gonna getcha! I'm gonna getcha! Good feeling's gone..." Marlin from Finding Nemo "I can't carry it for you. But I can carry you!" Sam from The Return of the King "Many that live deserve death and many that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too hasty to death out death and judgement." Gandalf from The Fellowship of the Ring "When you hang from a gibbet for the sport of your own crows, we shall have peace!" Theoden King from The Two Towers Gollum: "All she gets is filthy Orcses." "Like the moon, an enigma. Sinister, dark and unknown. I do not know what I seek, yet, I'll seek it alone! Tonight, I'll plunder heaven blind, steal from all the gods tonight. I'll take from all mankind, conquer all the odds. And I feel I'll live on forever! With Satan himself by my side. And I'll show the world that tonight and forever the name to remember's the name Edward Hyde!" Hyde from the musical Jekyll & Hyde "Sink me, I swear you've been takin' lessons. The cravat's a picture." Sir Percy in the 1982 version of The Scarlet Pimpernel "Then your tailors will rule the land and no one will make the clothes. So much for French fashion... and French politics." Sir Percy in the 1982 version of The Scarlet Pimpernel "But you can't wear your ruby satin! I'm wearing MY ruby satin!" Sir Percy in the Broadway musical of The Scarlet Pimpernel "But why's the rum gone?" Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean "Suppose you were an idiot, and suppose you were a Congressman, but I repeat myself" Mark Twain "Everytime I read Pride and Prejudice, I want to dig her up and beat her over the head with her own shinbone." Mark Twain NOTE! NOT MY VIEW! JANE AUSTEN IS AMAZING! I JUST THINK IT WAS FUNNY AND I LIKED HIS STRONG LANGUAGE. Mark Twain doesn't pull punches, does he? Please review my stories! I appreciate any criticism! Are my stories good? Are they okay? Do they absolutely suck and I need to hide in a hole for the rest of my life? Let me know! |
