Beautiful chapter! Your portrayals of the characters and the dynamics between them are very accurate, as always. You do a great job getting into Marianne's head and bringing the reader in as well-not only through the words themselves, but also through the mood you create by the style and flow of your writing. This story very effectively shows the changes taking place in Marianne after she recovers from her illness; she's still passionate, but a bit more cautious and self-restrained. I also absolutely love how you depicted the growing sexual tension between her and Brandon! Thanks for a very enjoyable read, and I look forward to seeing more! :)

Wow, this is beautiful. I'm glad you chose to include both Brandon's and Marianne's points of view; it makes the story so powerful. I think you did a wonderful job of portraying all that's going on inside their heads, especially in that first part with Marianne when she's so numb to what is happening around her, even her own conversation with her sister. I also appreciate that you showed a little of Colonel Brandon's dark side. Even though his selfless kindness always takes over, those little moments where he struggles round out his character and make him more relatable. All in all, great job. I hope to see more chapters! :)
