Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, Danny Phantom, Merlin, and A Quiet Place. Hello! Just a draconic scribe here, sitting in my dark cave, scratching away with my quill. I draw my own covers, but I'm more of a traditional artist, not digital, so they may not be of the most stellar quality. If you’re interested, please consider donating to the ACLU or NAACP to support the Black Lives Matter movement. There are also lots of petitions on their websites if you don’t have money. Status of my stories (7/31/20): Exposed: in progress. Twenty-seven is up. Twenty-eight is definitely going up tomorrow! Updates will be coming either once or twice a month from now on; check back on the tenth to know whether Twenty-nine will be posted on the 15th or the 1st of September. Thank you for your support and patience :) Paradise: in progress. The response was good. I'm actually mostly done with Chapter Two. I just can't convince myself I like it enough to post it, but I will eventually. Thanks for all the support. I PROMISE I WILL UPDATE AT SOME POINT IT WILL JUST BE A WHILE (I'm focusing on Exposed currently). You've all been patient and I really appreciate it. Out of Darkness: up for adoption. PM me if you want to adopt it - or if you want me to tell you the plot. I won't be putting the plot outline up as a chapter just in case someone does end up adopting it. Thank you. About Me: Age: I'll never tell Gender: Female Hobbies: Reading, writing, drawing, exercising, playing too much Skyrim (Do you italicize games? I looked it up, and you do I think) Some books I've read and enjoyed: The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson, Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson, Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld, Virals by Brandon and Kathy Reichs, Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, 1984, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Great Expectations, mysteries by Agatha Christie, Harry Potter, most things by Ursula Le Guin, most things by Robin McKinley, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Flies, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, most things by Toni Morrison, If I was Your Girl, Symptoms of Being Human, The Hobbit, The Bell Jar, The Handmaid's Tale, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Color Purple, Ender's Game, Divergent, Hunger Games, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Book Thief, The Hate U Give, The Life of Pi, The Inheritance Cycle, Inkheart, The Maze Runner, In the Time of the Butterflies, All the Light We Cannot See, Jane Eyre, Silence of the Lambs, Paladin of Souls, The Dresden Files, and The Kane Chronicles. Yes, I got lazy and stopped listing the author. And some of them aren't really specific books but authors themselves. I probably should've done that with Brandon Sanderson because I also liked his Elantris, Emperor's Soul, The Rithmatist, and the The Reckoners series. There are, of course, other books I have read and liked, but these were just some of the ones I could remember and thought were good enough to merit a sort of recommendation. Things I don't like in books/TV/movies/etc: The underrepresentation of people of color, LGBTQ people, non-neurotypical people, and women. Irrational or random plot lines and illogical characters (as in characters with the trait of doing things that literally don't make any sense. At all). Overusing the same word over and over again, especially a bland word like "happy." Things I like in books/TV/movies/etc: Inclusiveness. Having plots that make sense and characters that do things that make sense. Bad puns that make me laugh. Main characters whose parents aren't dead (I'm looking at you, Harry Potter and every other fantasy book out there. Don't think I don't see you.). Diverse sentence structures and words. The correct usage of semi-colons and colons. Current music trend: Thomas Bergersen Please note: If I've hurt your feelings because of something I wrote on this profile or something I wrote in one of my fics, please let me know so I can rectify the situation. I'd never want anyone to feel bad because of something I've said. :) Thanks for taking the time read this! |
