Not sure how I have not read this before. One of the best merlin ff stories i have read in years. Your bio suggests a third story/part so hopefully there is still more to come. having morgana and the dolma becoming friends and the eventual reveals works well. while you do have merlin and mia as a couple, i am akways a fan of merlin/morgana stories and given how well you have written this story,this could be epic. hopefully you are still writing (anything) and have this story in the back of your mind

I love this fic! Can't wait to see what happens in the third installment! You've built such a well-rounded world and characters and I can't wait to read your ideas on the unfolding of Arthur, Gwen, the Knights and Merlin's emotional journey from here. I love how this story broadened Merlin's view to becoming more than just Arthur's defender, and that you achieved it in such a slow, gradual and natural way. Gahh! I love this trilogy. I check your profile so often to see if the 3rd book was written. I’d decided a long time ago that this story would be my canon! It’s so good and had no disappointing storylines whatsoever. This two parter (so far! :P) is one of my most favorite stories on here. Your plot and character development are both amazing, and I love how you have done extensive research on everything! Your OCs feel natural, and I feel that you were able to keep everyone in character for the most part. Thank you so much for writing such an incredible story!

Um, this could have been a good story except for the bizarre 'Merlin is drained from magic use'. I mean, what on earth? That's blatant nonsense!

You're a great writer. A series. Very well done reveal, and I love Morgana's developing character. The Purge trial was definitely something I hadn't seen before. I can't wait to read #3!

I read this a while ago, but I never left a review. I just wanted you to know that I loved these two stories' writing, characterization, and plot. The events that happen are sometimes humorous but the overall story is serious, which I enjoy. I like what you've done with Morgana. The format is fun and engaging, and your grammar leaves nothing to be desired. These stories are so good, and they definitely deserve more recognition. :)

Hmm, not buying in to this idea that someone Merlin gets drained of magic. It's been proven that he can't be drained of magic.

I suppose this is some far fetched plot device to leave Merlin without magic and therefore at the mercy of Arthur who then decides whether or not to kill him? Doesn't make any narrative sense with what we know from the show.
