Author has written 15 stories for Dukes of Hazzard, and Supernatural. Hallloooooo!!! To my adoring public... No, wait - that's my dog. Anyways! I'm female, hit the big 3-0 this year, living in Colorado (we'll see how long that lasts). After eight years of living under a rock, I have internet, Netflix, and Amazon Instant Video at home now, and so I've been discovering all kinds of TV shows that the rest of you have known about for a decade - namely, Supernatural. No, I wasn't in prison. I might have had a better standard of living in prison. They totally have cable TV. So, after an eight-year hiatus of not writing anything (okay, I have three-quarters of a White Collar/Bones fic that will probably never be posted), I'm working on writing a labor-intensive SPN story, which may or may not be followed by other SPN stories. To those wonderful DOH readers hoping I'll finish Wild River Running... yeah, probably not. Whatever you can imagine for the ending is probably better than what I'd be able to write for the DOH fandom now. :/ Sorry! To those who have never read anything by me before - other than the occasional crackfic, I stay solidly within canon - no AU, no OC, no slash, no anything-else I can't think of right now. That's just how I roll. I aim to make a story as realistic as possible within bounds, but usually adventurous, descriptive, and lots of fun to read. And since I've learned my lesson (ahem! WRR), I'm not posting anything anymore that isn't completely finished. My background encompasses all things outdoors - recreation, wildlife, geology, plants, etc. - as well as all things emergency response and emergency medicine - firefighting, ambulance, law enforcement. And, I'm accident-prone - usually I am in the process of paying off an ER bill, just finished paying off an ER bill, or am setting aside some money to pay for the next ER bill. Those experiences have a habit of working their way into my stories. (By the way, the scar on Sam's hand? Totally ripped open my hand on a chain-link fence this spring. Not on purpose - I'm a fan, but not quite that obsessed. But I've been there, man.) Some day I'll just learn to do my own stitches, and save a whole lot of money. Until then - Cheers! Wolf |
