![]() To whom it may concern, Welcome to my humble abode! This account is slightly dated (actually it's a relic from when I first got into reading and writing). There used to be multiple stories here (if you're new...be glad), I didn't really want to delete them merely because it's sometimes fun to see how far you've come but they were somewhat embarrassing so they're not around anymore. I don't really write fanfiction now but I do still enjoy reading it! I have a Wattpad account (if you're curious it's FallingStorms) as well but its content has been neglected as well, only to a slightly lesser extent. Honestly I haven't made any new stories public (the ones that don't suck near as bad) because well...I haven't finished any story yet and there's nothing worse than leading people on with the temptation of a story and leaving them hanging if they happen to like it. A little bit about me: I'm college student and I really have no idea what I'm doing or if I like it. Life is hard. I have a rather strange sense of humor and it can be mildly offensive/off-putting sometimes even when I don't intend for it to be. Contrary to my rather blasé or apathetic attitude I actually do care enormously, I just have a habit of retreating behind a shield. Yay, hermit mode. I absolutely adore music, you could probably convince me to listen to just about anything. I have an optimistic opinion on everyone but myself (self-esteem yo). I'm pretty blunt, I say what I think. If you want me to review I'll be honest. This being said...I tend to find good things in your work as well and try to help you get better if I can, constructive criticism isn't bad even though it may wound your pride a little. Most of the time you won't be able to see the things other people see in your work so... I'm rather sucky at people-ing. I'm more of an introvert (INFP nowadays, I used to be INTP so I guess that goes to show how much you change in your teenage years) at heart even though I find human beings extremely interesting and I enjoy good conversations. I like sociology, psychology, and history. In fact I just love learning in general. If you ever want to just totally nerd out and explain something you're passionate about I'm here and I'd love to learn about it.I honestly can't think of anything beyond that but if you want to know more feel free to PM me on here or Wattpad. I don't really have a life so if you need someone to talk to because you're lonely or bored or mad I'm here. :) Reading preferences/pet peeves: I absolutely refuse to read love triangles. It usually ends up with me disliking the girl and it sort of goes against what I believe in. Not to mention someone always gets hurt which inevitably hurts me. The girl is basically leading on one of dudes and/or being all...ugh. In the wise words of Mr. Depp: "If you love two people at the same time, choose the second. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second." I do quite like OCs (if you've seen my list of favorites, you probably noted the obvious trend) but I prefer ones that actually impact the story in some way. Sure it's okay if the story is still canon but please don't make your original character regurgitate lines that a different character said unless it is absolutely necessary. If I wanted the same lines and story I'd watch/read the actual thing. Stories that have no paragraphs, line breaks, and/or do not use proper format (i.e. quotation marks, punctuation, etc.) annoy me. This is not to say that I discourage these people from writing because this is how you learn, however... I will probably click out of the story or, if I really like the actual content, I'll leave a desperate comment pleading with them to fix it. It's not because I'm snobby or anything...it's just super hard to read when it's like that. If the character is described explicitly with specific characteristics the author MUST actually demonstrate these traits within the character in the actual story. Just because you tell me the character is brave doesn't mean they actually are- DEVELOP YOUR CHARACTER, PLEASE! Honestly I don't mind Mary Sues. But please, please, please don't make them so unrealistic that it's almost cringe worthy. If you don't know what I'm talking about it's when the character is like super gorgeous, pure, blessed by the gods, immune to death, immune to being hurt, super brave, gains superpowers, automatically becomes friends with everyone he/she meets, and so forth. That's too much. So I guess I like what I call "mild Mary Sues". If they're beautiful, charismatic, and charming- GREAT! Just don't give them all the superpowers and a hero complex...At least make it buyable, you know? The needlessly tragic character...The one that has no friends and no one sympathizes with them or notices that bullies are literally killing them. Okay so, I know bullying gets bad, I know this. But I also know that not every one of the students or teachers is going to hate them that much. Someone would either speak up or make sure they are okay- at the very least they wouldn't get in on it. The whole concept of this irritates me a little (or a lot).Fandoms and Pairings (the main ones anyways): Avengers: (or basically anything from the Marvel Universe- Iron Man, Thor, etc.): Because you have to love heros.~Iron Man/OC- As much as I love Pepper, I also love OCs and for some reason canon pairings are really difficult to get my attention. Tony is just great- his sense of humor is perfect and even though he can be a jerk, he's still somehow likable. ~Bucky/OC or Winter Soldier/OC- I just love this character and his back story! There's so much that can be done here...not to mention I feel like he deserves a lover after all he's been through. ~Captain America/OC- I have to admit to having a certain affection for people who are from a different time period, not to mention his manners are just amazing- who can deny his cuteness! It has to be done right for me to really really get into it but gee whiz when it is...(sometimes he is made out to be really annoying, please don't make him wimpy or completely stupid...yes he's from a different time but he isn't an idiot). ~Loki/OC- So I have to say Loki is my favorite character (tied with Tony though). The wit and whole idea of him is just UGH! So great. There's something so intriguing about his relationships and the inner workings of his devious little mind! Again, you have to do it right but...Good golly gosh is he great. ~Quicksilver/OC- He and his sister were so glorious! Their relationship was adorable and just great...it's nice to see family relationships established in movies in conjunction with romantic ones (not incest though *shivers*). Dragon Ball Z: So this is what originally brought me to this website years ago...I honestly don't read it much anymore but there's something weirdly soothing about reading about kicking butt and the hero always winning.~Vegeta/Bulma- This is one of the few canon pairings I'll actually read given it's written correctly. While Bulma (and Vegeta to a lesser degree) have their annoying moments I like them so much! So much spirit and development. ~Vegeta/OC- Vegeta is one of my favorites (him, Future Trunks, and Gohan are amazing)! If it was up to me Vegeta would be the main character instead of Goku because, while Goku is great, he just goes nowhere. I've always thought Vegeta needed a companion just as tough as him! ~Trunks/OC or Future Trunks/OC- I feel like the show wasted so much of his potential by making him kind of pathetic and to be honest none of the characters in the series are worthy of him...I don't care for too many of the females BUT... ~Trunks/Pan- If and only if, Pan is as kick-butt as she should have been. They teased it at the end of Z then they ruined it! GT is just...an embarrassment. ~Gohan/OC- Okay so...Videl is meh. I don't hate her but I don't think she's anything special. In fact she's actually pretty annoying a fair bit of the time (at least in Z). Gohan needs a warrior woman or at least not one that's not a nag. Harry Potter: Wizards! Magic! How could you not want to vicariously live this life? And so many amazing characters and ideas!~George Weasley/OC, Fred Weasley/ OC, Twins/OC- Gosh, these two are probably my favorite characters. They're ridiculously charming and just good...It's difficult to pick between them, which is why I sometimes don't. ~Draco Malfoy/OC- He's a prat but I feel like he was so much more! I can't really hate him, I mean, you have to look in the environment he was raised in. If he had a good influence he could be awesome! ~Draco Malfoy/Hermione Granger- I'm a recent convert here. I've encountered a few really well written ones (they're in my favorites list below, if you're curious) and I just ship them a lot now. Besides, Ron is okay but definitely not coming anywhere close to my top 20 favorite HP characters. And, I kind of love Hermione-- she's adorable and I like her character a lot. ~Hermione Granger/Tom Riddle- On a tangential note, I really like Tom Riddle pairings. Given, the relationship is not just straight up abusive. I enjoy complexity and even darkness but I put up with zero actual abuse things. Tom Riddle is an actual sociopath and I accept he's questionable but I'd like to think he'd seek a partner to be kind of his equal (hence why Hermione is good for him, in my opinion). So I enjoy Dark Tomione fics but I also enjoy gray ones. I'm fascinated with the twist where he's a professor or separate from Voldemort. (AUs are pretty neat too.) ~Sirius Black/OC- I hate that they killed him...he was also one of my favorites (there seems to be a trend here). And let's face it- the man deserves love probably more than anyone. He's had a crappy life. He needs someone who can match his awesomeness! ~Fem!HP/Various male characters- I really enjoy female Harry Potter fics, they're quite fun. Especially for the purposes of crossovers and the like. Super fun to play around with. (I have especially enjoyed HP crossovers with Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Twilight, Avengers, and LoTR/Hobbit-- if you look in the other sections you can get an idea of the men-folk I like and would enjoy pairings with.) ~James Sirius Potter/OC and Albus Severus Potter/OC- Such great potential! You can do so much with these... Lord of the Rings: This is amazing and ever so exploitable...the world is just... so much yes...~Legolas/OC- Please! Don't act like you don't like him. He's a freaking elf Rambo! He needs a lady who can dig the stick out of his butt! Note: None of the others need anything...this story is just great all on its own! Aragorn/OCs are super hard for me to sit through because his romance with Arwen is just so soul wrenching. Gah. Naruto: Ninjas, bro.~Itachi/OC- He needs happiness and that's it. Don't try to change my mind, thanks. WHY DO YOU DO THIS, ANIME? ~Gaara/OC- Seriously stop, anime. STOP HURTING MY HEART! ~Sasuke/OC- Okay so, admittedly Sasuke annoys me. BUT he can be okay. ~Neji/OC- He can be pretty great, honestly...But I'll never forgive him for Hinata. Once Upon a Time: Possibly my favorite show ever. Not yet sold on season seven though, we'll see I guess.~Emma/Hook (Killian)- This is my OTP, for sure. This is coming from someone very partial to OCs. I can't change this, like at all. They are too great for each other and I'm pretty sure my heart will always belong to Captain Hook. The Outsiders: I think this will always be my favorite book no matter how old I get. The camaraderie and sense of hopelessness just attacks my heart.~Dally/OC- Dallas is by far the most interesting character to me...he's just so cool. He tries so hard to seem apathetic and untouchable but he's just... ~Soda/OC- There's so much goodness in him...and Sandy doesn't deserve one iota of it. ~Two-Bit/OC- If you haven't noticed my preference for smart alecs yet... True Blood: I know people are super weirded out by this show but I have a thing for vampires and I feel like this show does them perfectly! I love the concept of it even if Sookie is kind of tiresome at times...or like all the time.~Godric/OC- If you watch this show don't pretend you felt nothing when he died! He had so much potential and they just killed him! He's so amazing and ancient- he could change so much and help so many people...if only someone had reached out to him! Imagine the things you could learn! ~Eric/OC- I don't see how Sookie picked "Beehl" Compton over this guy. Seriously. Guys. I love this character so hardcore, he plays it so well too! And the relationship he has with Pam and Godric is so beautiful. ~Godric/OC/Eric- These two men are so beautiful. And again, so many things to be learnt. Also...they're both amazing, why choose? ~Eric/Sookie- Only if the author does something about the telepath's personality! She seemed so amazing at first and then sorta meh-ed. Fix her and hell yes! ~Godric/Sookie- See above. ~Godric/Sookie/Eric- Shh, it can be amazing. Twilight: Given, not my favorite book...at all, but some of the characters are great- just not the main ones.~Jasper/OC- Because, be honest, he had the coolest backstory. And his accent *swoon* Even if he does lamely sparkle, he's still a man's man. ~Paul/OC- Temperamental werewolf? Sooo cool. So much better than a pouty one (that's right, I don't like Jake!). ~Emmett/OC- I like Rosalie okay but she isn't the greatest (in the context of a romance, anyways: I actually super like her character). Emmett is a super cool teddy-vamp! Note: I'll read some Volturi stories as well because I'll admit to cheering them on a bit more than Sir Whines-A-Lot and his open mouthed mistress. And the wolf pack are pretty great. The Vampire Diaries: Elena sucks but that doesn't mean I can't like everyone else!~Klaus/OC- Um, yes. He may be murder-y but, to be fair, if I had to be alive that long in a world of humans I'd be psychopathic too. I like Caroline (sometimes) but nah bro, he deserves someone better. ~Elijah/OC- YEAH! His sense of honor and family are just...such yes. They make him into such a unique character, I still haven't forgiven Stefan, Elena, and Damon for daggering him. HE SAVED YOU DIMWITS! ~Damon/OC- He's cool...when he isn't stabbing my favorite characters. He's way better than his creepy brother. He just gets on my nerves because...Elena. *If you know any good stories that have any of these pairings hit me up, yo. I'm okay with certain crossovers too so...* QUOTES: (My favorites or the ones that hit me the hardest) "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on, or by imbeciles who really mean it." -Mark Twain "The saddest part of the human race is we're obsessed with the idea of 'us and them' which is really a no-win situation, whether it's racial, cultural, religious, or political." -Dave Matthews "The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing." -Socrates "Too much agreement kills a chat." -Eldridge Cleaver "You're only given a little spark of madness.
