My Favorite Anime's

10: Sailor Moon (Original magical girl anime, and who doesn't know of it? Plus my elder sister was really into it when I was younger.)

9: One Piece (Call me names all you want, but I just LOVE the dub no matter how corny it is or how much is censored. Luffy is also one of my absolute favorite characters.)

8: Neon Genesis Evangalion (Dark as heck, and scared me when I was younger. I don't mind it now, but I'm still squeamish around blood.)

7: Cardcaptor Sakura (This was an amazing show with a great plot for both seasons. The dub did well, and I just love Clear Card, but primarily the sub in this case.)

6: Yugioh GX (I liked watching this because I enjoyed the misadventures and how the stuff that happened built up to the overall plot. Not to mention it introduced my favorite archetype of all time.)

5: Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood (The first series followed the manga to a point before it trailed off creating its own original story. Brotherhood followed the story of the manga to a T, and having the original actors return to reprise there rolls was a nice touch.)

4: Cardfight Vanguard (Similar to Yugioh and Duel Masters, but different enough to be able to stand on it's own. Each season brought a fresh new story, a new mechanic, and it had decent storytelling.)

3: Pokemon (My favorite seasons overall was the Hoenn chapters. It was a fresh take on it, and introduced my favorite female heroine of the franchise. Plus can't go wrong with having an instrumental of one of the Japanese themes.)

2: Naruto (The original series! Yes Shippuden is good, but I loved the often laid back and easy going nature of the original paired with it's sometimes epic taijutsu fights got me loving it.)

1: Digimon (Now while some might disagree I love the dub of most of the series. The connected stories of Adventure and Zero Two was solid, Tamers was dark and exciting, Frontier was a fun twist on the classic formula, Data Squad while lackluster had it's ups, Fusion...I honestly watch Xross Wars instead because it is better, and Universe while unique it was clunky yet enjoyable.)

My Favorite Cartoons

5: Winx Club (I know this is an odd choice, but it's a series I got pulled into and came to like. At least the first three seasons.)

4: Xiaolin Showdown (Misadventures with an overarching story and plot, funny characters, and the hand drawn animation was on par with a few other cartoons.)

3: Teen Titans (The anime style animation drew me in almost instantly as I had already been watching anime when this came out. The approach to Slade/Deathstroke was brilliant, and each character had a great arc. To bad it ended when it did.)

2: Avatar The Last Airbender (Again the anime style animation gave it an edge. The stories were good, and the episodes focused on different characters didn't feel shoved in, and helped develop them. Plus introduced one of my favorite characters. Toph.)

1: Code Lyoko (Animation is a step above it's original concept cartoon, and the CG used for the virtual world of Lyoko actually made it seem like it was a completely different world. It had great characters, and a intangible villain giving it a bit more mystery to it. I just love this series.)
