Thought it was time to update this. So hello to all who were kind enough to stop by. As some of you know, I am in the middle of a story entitled, "Damon and Rebekah A Love Story". I will for the time being concentrate all my efforts on that story. It is just filled with wonderful possibilities. While the story centers around our couple. Not a conventional coupling perhaps, but they balance each other out. Rebekah, the lonely Original girl, whom we know so little of. She is beautiful and for the purpose of this story she has Hazel Green Eyes, I set her age at 19. While in the series they portray her as strong willed they also let us see she is in fact for all her year's of living just a lost, lonely girl who is begging for attention. At least that is what I get out of it and since I am the author of this story, that is how you will see her. She is brutal when protecting her own, be that her older brother, Klaus, whom she is the closest to in the family or Damon the man she has chosen as her own. I will explore Rebekah's history through out this story. Mainly that will be done thru the use of flashbacks or in some cases which has already been seen in her conversations with Caroline through story telling.

Damon in my opinion needs someone to be true to him and him alone, so I have given him a "Vampire Mate", in Rebekah. He is after all Damon at his core, while I might change how he see's certain truths he will remain true to his character as we have come to see on the show. I don't think I need to elaborate on that at this time. Read the story and you will understand.

Klaus, will be who he is and who we are use to but of course he will also face some modifications but the foundation is based on the show. He will evolve, he is desperate for "Family". Here in this story, he has of course Rebekah, but he has a for lack of a better term, "Brother in Law" in Damon and trust in this they will get each other into trouble and they will not always get along. Again you will have to read the story to fully understand.

While Niklaus is a dark character he needs a balance, which is why on the show I believe they are playing with the idea of him and Caroline, she is the light to his dark. Again balance is essential. As he stated in an episode, "I fancy you." Here I give them that chance, she will not fear him because in my mind, Vampire Barbie doesn't fear anyone. She will stand up to him when she thinks she is right, she will call him out on his shit and she will perplex him to no end. How he reacts you will have to read, just keep in mind he is not use to people standing up to him.

Caroline is always the one left out, so here she will be an intricate part of the story. She and Rebekah will become as close as sisters. Damon is actually her best friend and I think it is even true in the show. If they ever allowed it to come into the light. She respects him even if he is what she likes to call, "A Dumb Ass". The truth is she loves Damon as a friend. While she doesn't let him get away with anything she still loves him.

However in regards to Caroline and Rebekah. While Rebekah has not had a friend a real friend in centuries and is a bit shall we say rusty at the whole what a friend does or doesn't do she will mean well. She will also teach Caroline to fight, the style will be a form of martial arts, that will be explained in a flashback. I love flashbacks. It will also clarify why Damon is able to call upon the marital arts when he fights. In the show we see them use brute force when they fight, here they will be elegant and more effective. (Blame that on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Who knew demon's and vampires knew the martial arts?)

Stefan will make an appearance or two but he is not a main character.

Elena, will have to make a choice at some point as to who's side she is really on and she will have to stick to it. She will be given a choice. She will have a falling out with Caroline over the choice of friends the little vampire has made.

Bonnie will be at odds with Caroline as well and have to make a choice, what that choice is I will not say.

If you have not surmised by now this story takes place in an "Alternate Reality". Having said that events that I chose to use will be molded to fit my version of The Vampire Diaries.
