After months of wondering, waiting and down right fear that we would never see this, IDW has finally come up with the funding for season 4 of "Wynonna Earp" and production has been green lit, even though it will be next summer before the season is released on SyFy. As hard as it will be to wait it's certainly better than never seeing it at all. I just love to write. I love writing romance, regardless of whether the pairing is M/F or F/F as long as it rings true. I love impossible romances that worked out (Helo/Sharon from BSG is my favorite of that type). I'm much older than most readers and writers here. I like writing femslash as well as straight stories. I enjoy corresponding and chatting online but offline and online ne'er shall cross. I try to answer all comments, reviews and messages but there are only so many hours in the day so sometimes it takes a while. I do want to thank everyone who make suggestions for stories. Some I might be able to follow up on, some I won't be able to. Additionally, because of health problems, including but not limited to my arthritis, I am spending less and less time at the computer and find that typing quickly takes its toll on me. I hope to keep going, I enjoy it so much, but my output is going to be severely reduced. Along with that a very favorite pet peeve. I don't mind in the least if your review is anonymous. However it drives me crazy when anonymous reviews ask questions. With no user name I can hardly answer them can I? *Sigh* Favorite Pairings: Latest massive crush: A Discovery of Witches: Diana/Matthew. I finally sat down and read the book after watching the series on AMC last summer. Awesome and I adore them. And I understand the filming of season two (based on the next book in the trilogy) is finished so another series I can barely wait to see. Legends of Tomorrow: Sara Lance/Ava Sharpe (Avalance). Ray/Nora (I hope they will come back to visit but in the meantime I dream of their life together), Nate/Zari. Neverknock: (Just added category for the SyFy movie). Grace/Leah Dominique Provost-Chalkley and Jodelle Ferland together. Yum. Wynonna Earp: Waverly/Nicole (WayHaught), Wynonna/Doc, Wynonna/Nicole and I'm fascinated by Rosita the Revenant who hasn't turned evil (scared and panicked and making a big mistake but still not evil). Supergirl: Kara/Lena. I had hopes for Alex/Sam but alas, not to be. I love SuperCorp. I know it will never happen but the emotional turmoil of Kara and Lena finding their way back to each other as best friends is awesome. And hopeful. Hunger Games: Peeta/Katniss, Clove/Cato, Clove/Katniss, Katniss/Madge, Gale/Madge. Rookie Blue: Sam/Andy, Dov/Chloe, Gail/Frankie, Oliver/Celery. Avengers: Steve/Natasha, Tony/Pepper, Thor/Jane, Thor/Sif, and a little non-serious Natasha/Pepper fun is good too. But Romarogers above all. Foo on AoU. Angel/Buffy: Angel/Nina, Angel/Buffy (1st three seasons of Buffy only), Angel/Faith, Faith/Buffy (come to think of it, anyone with Faith), Willow/Tara. Unlikely as it may be I LIKED Buffy/Riley. He came along at a time when he was precisely what she needed. I never could stand Angel/Cordy. Battlestar Galactica: Helo/Sharon, Apollo/Starbuck Charmed: Piper/Leo (as far as the two of them go I can only see them with each other no matter what), Paige/Henry, Paige/Billie, Phoebe/Billie. Somehow Phoebe/Coop just didn't seem true to me. Gilmore Girls: Paris/Rory, Luke/Lorelai Wizards of Waverly Place: Alex/Juliet, Alex/Stevie, Justin/Juliet and I love crossing over Alex with all sorts of other TV girls. JAG: Harm/Meg. Harm/Teresa Coulter. Harm/Mattie (Father/Daughter relationship) NO Harm/Mac. It's not that I didn't like Sarah it just seemed like the whole relationship was based only on the two of them being partners. Hannah Montana: Miley/Lilly Star Trek Voyager: Tom/B'Elanna, Janeway/7 of 9 Army Wives: Denise/Claudia Joy, Trevor/Roxy (who cannot love them right?) Stargate SG-1: Jack/Sam, Sam/Janet, Daniel/Vala (I was recently delighted at an inside joke I found while reading Keith DeCandido's novelization of "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" where he introduces two members of Carlos's team (who sadly don't survive) Jack Carter and Sam O'Neill who left the USAF so they could date. I love clever little things like that). Eureka: Zoe/Jo Librarians: Eve/Flynn, Jake/Cassandra but I just keep writing Eve/Cassandra stories. NCIS: If Ziva is back can Tony and Talia be far behind? McGee/Delilah. (I love them above all others). NO McGee/Abby. And as for Gibbs, for heaven's sake enough. I'm sure he is hardly the easiest person to live with but several women have been skipped over I think could have handled it. So let him and Sloan end up together. They both need someone. I'm wavering about Ellie and Nick. NCIS LA: Deeks and Kensie, Callen/Anna, Eric/Nell. iCarly: Carly/Sam, Carly/Shelby, Freddie/Melanie and recently, thanks to a friend's urging I'm exploring Carly with other girls from the how (First example was Sabrina from "iBeat the Heat".) Victorious: Tori/Cat, Tori/Jade, in fact Jade and anyone (yes including Beck) Resident Evil: Alice/Jill, Alice/Claire but really, in the final analysis, my heart is given to Alice/Carlos. D.E.B.S. Lucy/Amy, Janet/Scud Big Bang Theory: I've always rooted for Leonard and Penny but for a while I liked the feel of Leonard and Alex. Sorry Penny but sometimes you just treat Leonard so bad. I don't think Alex would do that to him. Penny/Amy, Penny/Alex. Lost Girl: Bo/Lauren, Bo/Dyson, Bo/Tamsin. Okay, I'm a Valkubus forever fan. And it's been fun crossing them with Buffy and Faith from BtVS. Reba: Reba/Sadie, Reba/BarbraJean. Jessie: Jessie/Emma. Jessie/Shaylee. Best Friends Whenever: Cyd/Shelby. X-Men. Raven/Hank, Bobby/Kitty, Logan/Rogue. Criminal Minds: I love JJ/Will. Hotch/Emily, Derek/Garcia, Spencer/JJ as the deeply loving brother/sister I feel they are. I can enjoy Spence/JJ and Emily/JJ a long as it's written so that Will and JJ never got together. I really dislike stories where either JJ or Will cheats or turns abusive simply so that they can be split up so one or the other can be paired with whomever the writer wants. Yes that's the essence of fanfiction, having your favorites together but just write them, no need to make either of my favorites a punching bag. I finally found it! A good deal of my Liley story "The Truth about Miley" (inspired by the Lifetime teen coming-out movie "The Truth about Jane" has to do with Miley and Lilly attending their high school prom together as a couple. I had in my mind a vague picture of a movie I had seen somewhere but all I could recall was two girls in formals turning to each other for a slow dance at their prom. I couldn't remember another thing including the name of the movie or where I saw it. I finally found it. "More Than Friends: The Coming Out of Heidi Leiter" was an episode of the HBO series Lifestories: Families in Crisis. Story notes: Under Construction/Consideration: "Twice Bitten". Angel/Supernatural crossover. After the events of "Paper Moon" Kate continues trying to stay in control. Her travels take her to LA where one night she does lose it. To her surprise she is stopped by another werewolf and of all things, a vampire with a soul. "The Wizardess and the Legal Secretary". WoWP/King of Queens crossover. Alex meets Carrie Spooner and helps her to make herself attractive to Doug Hefferman. She also becomes very attractive to Alex who never resists such feelings. "The Moocher". Two and a Half Men. During the dinner scene in "Corey's Been Dead for an Hour" Charlie doesn't follow Alan into the Men's Room. He comes up with another idea to make Alan pay for at least his own meal. "Mechanical Advantage". Firefly/Dark Matter crossover. While searching for repair parts and tools for the Serenity, Kaylee Frye meets a girl with a strange name who shares her fascination with all things mechanical. That fascination spills over into other areas as well. Femslash. Kaylee/Five. And who knows? Tomorrow morning I make wake up with a new idea and drop everything to write it. In fact I keep doing just that. |
