I always used to see other authors on ff.n saying how they love getting reviews and I always thought, "nah not me, I just like writing."

But then I got my first review and it was like "BAM!!! Here have an unhealthy dose of desiring approval from internet strangers who you will probably never meet."

Don't get me wrong, I still write because I enjoy writing. But now every time I post a story I compulsively check my emails every 5 minutes to see if someone has reviewed it... Kinda sad really but that's me, someone else please go.
