![]() ![]() ![]() Yay the old girlfriend in the fridge trope |
![]() ![]() ![]() You just like to fuck over your protagonists don't you. Just take a decently running story and then all of a sudden take everything from the MC and leave him in a disgusting hell hole for no reason at all. The whole thing seems so fucking unrealistic. Fuck. Hate this shit of a story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You mean Toyota corolla? |

![]() ![]() ![]() I skipped; thanks for the warning! I understand about the Earth asshats arrayed against our heroes, but who are the transdimensional forces coming against the locals, and are the local asshats stupidly in cahoots with the extraterrestrials? Asking for a friend... ;D MelJ :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG! This was truly f'd-up! I know you apologized last chapter, but I didn't think it was going to get WORSE! Who's actually pulling the strings? Amanda Q? One of her creations run amok? (No, I'd never even heard of "Worm" before starting this story, so, no help there! O-o) I don't think it's a *terrestrial* 'criminal mastermind'. It kind of reminds me of the new "War of the Worlds" where the aliens had been dormant underground for who knows how long... This latest bs is all being controlled by either Alexandria, Piggot, or Coil.., or a character that we haven't met yet, cuz they have access to those control collars. I just don't see how Harry & Co. can get out of this. :( Ooo, boy! Movin' on! Thanks... for raisin' my blood pressure! ;D MelJ :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry, weird question here: Is there a reason you chose "Bailey" as a last name for the 'new' Harry? I only ask because "Bailey" conjures up thoughts of two of my favorite characters: The first is "George Bailey" from the Frank Capra movie "It's a Wonderful Life". Whose entire life was spent trying to do the right thing and being the best person he could be. The 2nd is "Elijah Bailey" a detective in a trilogy of stories compiled in a book called "The Robot Novels" by one of my all-time favorite authors, Isaac Asimov. I'm sure there are other "Baileys" in literature and film, but the name sends my mind back to a time when these characters were my escape from a tough childhood. When I grew up it seemed like Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke, McCaffrey, "Spider" Robinson and Orson Scott Card were my secret friends cuz it seemed like nobody else around me had ever heard of them. Star Trek turned me onto SF at aged 4, 5, & 6 and I found my "ABCs" (see above ;D) at 7. I'm 58 now but that's why my mind is still open to ff and why I'm so excited to read what *you're* writing. You're blowing my mind with story ideas I've never seen before! Thank you! Your works make me feel *young*! ;D MelJ :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! I can definitely say that I've never read a story that even comes close to this premise and I'm a huge Sci-Fi and Fantasy fan and a biblioholic! Of course, I mainly read ff in my fandoms -HP, TW, TS (The Sentinel, icydk ;D), some LotR, and a little SG1, ST (TOS, NG, DS9, & V), and *your* HP/SW x-over- so, I can say that it's the most original storyline *I've* ever read! Your conveyance of Harry's constant danger has me in a state of perpetual anxiety without seeming 'overdone'. Very well done, sir! I just had to pass on this comment before moving on. Thank you for sharing your talents and time with us; you're amazing and I'm so glad I discovered you! MelJ :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love Taylor's reaction there at the end. Way more realistic than the shy, "Oh, um, thanks," BS you usually see in situations like this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story thanks for sharing it |
![]() ![]() ![]() Pretty good. I felt a number of your characterisations were a little off for this one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() MC: I can't hit girls. MC a few chapters back: Yeah, cool, lemme just about kill Alexandria, Contessa, and Doctor Mother because they won't give me what I want |
![]() ![]() ![]() Todas estas retrospectivas son un poco molestas. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nunca leí el original así que está bien para mi. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yo también creo que Vista es huérfana lo que explica su madurez. |
