Set in the time after the war but with a different timeline. Georg and Maria meet under different circumstances and Gretl is an only child. Completely AU but keeping a lot of the original story elements.

Set between the lake and the puppet show. Gretl's illness creates an opportunity for the Captain and Maria to see each other in different ways.

It was hot. Stifling hot. It had been all day. That kind of oppressive, humid heat where the air is heavy and thick, where you pray for the evening's cool air to arrive early, or a thunderstorm to roll down from the Alps. But some nights, it's just impossible to cool down…

Eight years have passed since they last crossed paths. When they meet again, in post-war Salzburg, the Captain and Maria are no longer the same two people they had been, back when they danced in the garden. But as Rodgers and Hart wrote, "Sometimes you think you've lived before, all that you live today/Things you do, come back to you/As though they knew the way."

It's Maria and Georg's wedding day and the two of them know that the day symbolises a new beginning for the two of them. Hede von Trapp is invited to the grand and glorious party. Thinking that her brother's desire is to marry Baroness Schraeder, she is surprised to find Georg quite smitten with a certain governess. AU. [COMPLETE]

The night Maria comes back from the Abbey, Elsa doesn't find Georg on the balcony, Georg doesn't break off their engagement, and Maria thinks that her return is the cause of Georg's grim mood. Now, she just wants him to be happy and is planning to leave again.

In the aftermath of Maria fleeing from the villa, Georg finds himself brooding deeply over the little governess that once infuriated him so. And after the exploration of his feelings and a heartbreak that he cannot place, he realises why he suddenly yearns for her so desperately... Maria is sent back to the villa to find her life. Georg is also looking for God's plan for the rest of his life. This is a story as to how they find them. It is set before the Anschluss happens.

It's the early days of their engagement and Georg discovers that his fiancée is an avid horse rider...and that she also misses it terribly. He proposes that they go riding the following morning and Maria is simply ecstatic, but, as always, they'll end up getting more than they bargained for. / Just a sweet, romantic and slightly steamy story about Maria and Georg.

The Captain denies his feelings and Maria flees to the Abbey. While she's away he realizes the depth of his feelings, but will they ever find their way to each other?

In flight from a dark and dangerous world, bound together by circumstance, but kept apart by private burdens of pain, regret and sorrow, can Maria and Georg find their way to each other?

A series of unrelated Christmas and winter one-shots all based around the von Trapp family and the different situations they find themselves in within the Christmas season. Most are inspired by prompts and ideas from Proboards or Instagram. Also, most are based on the relationship between Maria and Georg.

When Maria is attacked whilst taking a walk to clear her head after a heated dispute with her husband she simply can't find the strength to tell him lest he kill her assailant. It's the grounds for expectation, anticipation. It's all the assurances and declarations that encourage us to expose our vulnerable hearts.

Maria and Georg take their newborn son to see the Reverend Mother, and as well as their loving reunion, and reflecting on all that has happened over the past year, the three of them relive some of the most heart-warming memories the occurred throughout the pregnancy... A hot summer's day and a challenge from Herr Detweiler leave Maria unexpectedly flustered. Pure fluff, just a bit of fun!

Love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there. If you look for it, you'll find that love actually is all around. But sometimes, it requires a little Christmas magic…

Some of my favourite stories are those that depict Georg as a legendary lover who leaves Maria utterly enraptured on their honeymoon. What would happen though, if the exact opposite held true? How will Maria overcome such hurdles when her husband is so staunchly private about his innermost thoughts...

The ghost, the piano and the fool. One-Shot.

AU. Maria arrives at the Captain's door in the middle of the night. Set the same night as the puppet show. Is an alternate version of my story, "Here Comes the Sun".

In a curiously restless mood, the Captain seems to be going out of his way to provoke Fraulein Maria. In the ensuing battle of wills, though she doesn't realize it, she provokes him in return. Written for the Proboards holiday calendar challenge.

"It was possible that his mind was playing tricks on him. It wouldn't be the first time he'd conjured her up as a familiar face in a crowd of strangers." Precisely 10 months to the day since Fraulein Maria's sudden departure from 53 Aigen, Georg catches a glimpse of golden hair when on an outing in town. What he later discovers sheds light on truths he's not yet ready to confront.

"But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined!" Maria has been told that there are certain rooms that are not to be disturbed, but she never listens.

"Could she take one kiss? Was it possible to have just one? One kiss to keep and cherish forever. To hold onto and never forget, to keep secret from the rest of the world." Slight AU from after the Ländler but set a month after the party. ONE-SHOT.

Maria and Georg are on their honeymoon in Paris - The Captain has been invited to a dance, but will Maria fit in amongst her husband's highly respectable friends? Mostly fluff, with a tiny smidge of angst, to spice things up a bit. God, what a caption. Anyway, read at your leisure :)

"Captain Georg von Trapp sat at his mahogany desk in his dark leather chair with a bottle of scotch in the shadowy moonlight, and brooded. Of course he did this, because this is what a handsome widower is supposed to do – and what would life be without clichés?" Maria finds herself burning with curiosity about the intimacies that exist between man and wife. The late afternoon breeze stirring across the lake was a welcome relief as the warm afternoon sun inched its way towards the horizon. Amongst the lengthening shadows, dragonflies dipped and rose just above the water's surface, sending the smaller insects skittering out of their way. Georg breathed deeply, contentedly.

When governess number twelve arrives at the villa, Georg's world is thrown into disarray. It's not in the words they share but in the unspoken gestures, subtle glances and meaningful silences that they begin to come together. Maria, torn with guilt and confusion, flees the von Trapp villa the evening of the "grand and glorious party." Despite her best intentions, all plans that come to mind fall to wrack and ruin at the hands of one certain sea captain who refuses to believe smoke and mirrors and is determined to extract the truth from her. At year's end, a fragile kind of happiness has taken hold for the von Trapp family and their governess. But then Georg, facing an unwelcome change, acts rashly, and his mistake has life changing and potentially devastating consequences. With nothing left to lose, the Captain and Fraulein Maria must reevaluate the choices they've made. "Hope is a dangerous emotion."

The Captain found himself attracted to Maria's lips. No, not just Maria's lips, he's attracted to her. So what happens if he asks a stupid (as he thinks of it) question to Maria? How will she respond? Moreover, how will that question affect them deeply? (One-shot)
