What I ask for in a story:

I'm willing to be a little lax on grammar, I'm not the type to turn down a good story for a couple of misspellings. That being said, if your story contains sentence breaking errors and what I end up reading looks like something you spat onto the screen with no organization or thought put into it, then we have a problem. I'm not expecting you to be perfect, but at least follow the basic grammar skills that everyone was taught in school. I am a character, setting, and first impression person, that's what I feel is the most important bit of a story. I look for characters and the setting first to determine if I would want to keep reading. All I ask is for the story to make sense, be interesting to an audience, have some sort of logic placed into it, and I want to see human characters. Human as in, not 2-D self-inserts, but instead, 3 dimensional people with emotions. I don't need their life stories, but I do need to be able to bye their character as someone I would meet in real life.

What types of stories I like:

Stories that take place in things I actually care about, I'm going to include crossovers to make it easier. Basically anything with Halo, RWBY, Danny Phantom, Metro, and Call of Duty slapped onto it will get a guarantee look at. I'm a weakness to anything that contains military stuff. I'll look at pretty much any genre, but I'm a partial to humor, romance, drama if you think you can pull it off, action, adventure, and sci-fi. I'll take all ratings, as long as they're written in legible English. I would also prefer that the author has a relatively consistent update schedule.

What I don't like:

Stories that I won't read are stories based on things I have no interest in. It doesn't mean I won't look at it if a summary interests me, but it will definitely hinder my opinion. Also, if your story is amazingly short, as in less than 1000 words for your first chapter, you can expect me to never even bother looking at it. I tend to shake my head and sigh when I see angst in the cover. I also don't like to read gay or lesbian stories too much, I don't have anything against them, I just don't find that kind of content entertaining to read.

Weird gray areas:

The only real one that comes to mind for now is that I kind of like more variations other than just the original story. I know my first story is basically just the original script of Red vs Blue plus my OC,so I am not against reading that. It is just after a while, I get tired of things if you really have nothing new to add. Like a good joke I heard when comparing Fallout New Vegas with Fallout 4: you want four different ways to end a quest, not four different ways to say "yes."

I am also free for beta-reading, I don't normally do story requests, but I am willing to atleast hear the story pitch. Cheers boys.
