this story is great

You know what, rename this fic as " Harry Potter the boring pussy " so that people who come here for some flavour might avoid this.

This is a good story. Harry is young and so makes mistakes, but he’s more mature and well balanced than canon Harry due to the Dursleys being slightly less abusive and going to Hogwarts a year early and missing Ron’s bad influence.

Dumbeldore is incredibly offensive in this story but is one of the good guys. He should still be repeatedly flogged.

Snape is actually bearable. Probably because Harry is in Slytherin and performs at a high standard.

This is where I stopped reading. Someone who knows he doesn't have to listen to him anymore and yet choose to follow him back to being abused. Not worth the au tag.

i had my doubts the first few chapters but i'm growing to like it a lot.
The only thing that bugs me with the basilisk is down there it's loaded with rat skeletons, but if a snake eat rats the only thing left would be snake droppings.
Just a thought.

why does Harry keep forgetting stuff ? he found the ror even figured out what it does to some extent but doesn't use it. then he was in this ravenclaw study club but no mentions of it anymore. you should read what you've previously written

Great story. I like how you’ve developed Harry with different friends. Different drives. Different interests. I am curious if Harry signing the basilisk contract Dumbledore presented had any fine print. I could see Albus tricking Harry into signing away his ability to request emancipation. It didn’t seem like Harry didn’t really read the details of the co tract carefully enough. Albus must be terrified of losing control of Harry and I could really see this Harry telling Voldemort - leave my friends alone and I’ll move to France or someplace.

The story is great and I look forward to the next chapter.

Nice chapter. Glad to see Harry's about to make his move although I'll be interested to see how that corresponds with Sirius's move ... although that doesn't happen until closer to the new school term and by then he'll already be away from his Uncle's 'secure' place.
