 Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Hello! I've finally decided to actually put some thing on my profile. Yay me. I procrastinated about it for quite awhile. Any who back on topic. I've been reading fanfiction for quite a while primarily Harry Potter fanfiction and recently I've delved into Supernatural fanfiction.Supernatural is a fantastic show. I demand you watch it. It's pure awesomeness. Sooo.. Likes and dislikes... I'll start with the bad first ...drumroll please... Harry Potter Coming in at number one... Harry/Ginny. I don't know why but I really can't stand Ginny's character, I haven't been able too since the fifth book. I find her presence cringe worthy in most fanfiction. She's usually depicted as nauseatingly marysueish. Harry/Hermione is another peeve of mine. I used to be a H/Hr shipper but since book five I've found her attitude really quite annoying especially in book six. I also dislike it when Harry is made to be a weak pathetic sniveling little snot where he is constantly whining about how horrible his life is but he doesn't do anything about it. I also don't like disabled!Harry. I love to hate Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy. I refuse to believe Snape was redeemed so please don't confuse me with the facts. And don't even get me started on Draco Malfoy slithering his way out of prison after what he did. Remus Lupin irritates me. Likes When Harry is shown to be independent, ruthless, dark, powerful (but not Super!Harry), capable and intelligent. AU Albus Dumbledore Harry/Daphne Greengrass, HP/Luna, HP/Tonks, HP/Fleur, HP/either one of the Patil twins, HP/no one. Supernatural I dislike stories where Sam and Dean have another brother and/or sister. I've yet to read a good one and I think it takes way from the Brother dynamic Sam and Dean have. Sam and/or Dean paired with anyone. Evil!Sam Sam shown as selfish and not caring about his family just because he went to college. Likes I'll read pretty much anything that doesn't have anything on my dislike list. Stories I've recently started my first fanfiction entitled Crossroads. I really want to improve my writing so I'm using this story work on it. I already have the main plot all planned out I just need to work out the details. I'm planning to incorporate some mythology into it hopefully it turns out all right. The first chapter's kinda bland right now but it was necessary to the plot. After the foundation is set I can get to the good stuff. I've been plagued with writers block for my first story so I've decided to write out a much more detailed outline to get back into the swing of things. While I was doing so I was struck with another story idea. After debating with my self on whether or not to start a new store I figured "Why not?" So here's my new fic. 3-10-08: I've decided to completely rewrite Crossroads as I'm very dissatisfied with some parts of it. I'm not abandoning it though. I have no intention of abandoning any of my stories. To those of you that are actually somewhat curious: Most of the changes I'll be making will be plot and characterization. After rereading it I think there much to be improved on. I hate the first chapter and last two chapters in particular. Some characters were introduced far to soon and thus I effectively backed my self into a stone wall. Also, there are some glaring cliches in this story that I want to slaughter...violently. And lastly, I spotted some grammar/spelling errors that seriously irk me. Those will be fixed. Ah, hindsight. Ain't it great? Title: Unknown Solider It's basically an Assassin!Harry story. I've been itching to see one that isn't slash so I wrote my own. The premise is Harry's parents are not killed like they were in canon because Sirius remained their secret keeper; therefore Voldemort never died. Flash forward ten years and Harry becomes entangled in a series of events that lead him straight into the hands of the Ministry or more specifically the Unspeakable Rockwood. Some reviewers asked about pairings so I figured I'll just answer here: No Pairings. Harry will be too busy deflecting attempts on his life and killing people for a relationship. 5-4-08 Wow I didn't realise how long it's been since I've updated. I'll be posting updates more regularly around mid May. My AP Exams will be over by then so I'll have more time on my hands. I probably go ahead and edit the chapters I have already posted for spelling, grammar, and inconsistencies. |
