Castiel takes a moment to find purpose and peace while searching for his Father, and is unexpectedly interrupted by another angel. What begins as brotherly banter dissolves into a near-philosophical clash. Set after S5E8, "Changing Channels".

Dean makes another reference to Castiel's lack of faith in the Winchesters and the angel tablet fiasco. Castiel is tired, hurting and pissed. Enough to tell Dean how he really feels. Because after everything, he thinks he's entitled to a few trust issues.

"He's in there somewhere, Dean. He has to be." But what if he wasn't? What if the Cas they knew was gone forever? AU to 8x17 "Goodbye Stranger" Angst-fest.

There isn't much that Zachariah WOULDN'T do, to get what he wants. But when he traps Sam, Dean, and Cas, they discover how far he would go. Sam and Dean are helpless to stop him or to keep his hands from where they don't belong. Torture is one thing, but this is evil. Set in Season 5, lots of Cas!whump

Charlie Bradbury was no stranger to picking up hitchhikers, but there was something different about the dark-haired man she took in that night. She was going to figure out what it was, and what she could do to help him.

Heaven has re-claimed Castiel; they tell Sam and Dean: "Do not look. You will not find." and the brothers are utterly helpless to save him from his fate. But then Cas is dropped in front of them, a beaten broken thing. And suddenly they're faced with unholy angels, self-righteous demons, and a whole ugly mess in between. When the angels finally stop falling Castiel begins to walk. (one shot)

Castiel is at war and he should've heeded Rapheal's warning, what happens when Cas turns up at the motel the Winchesters are staying at bloodly and beaten? Is there a cure for this unknown effect that is happening to Cas or will they lose one of their friends, the one person they would consider family? Hurt!Cas, Worried!Sam and Protective!Dean. No Slash! Sam still has a soul.

The sight of his face gives her just enough energy to let out a sardonic little laugh and say, "Here to rescue me again, Clarence?" Alternate ending to 8x17. Slight Megstiel.

Dean needs to get out and all Castiel can do is drink. They need to work on their coping mechanisms. They manage something together.

They're just two people, alone and clinging together in the dark. A 5.16 coda about faith and loss.

In the midst of the Apocalypse, the Winchesters take the first steps toward reconciliation while Lucifer tempts his brother with the cruelties and psychosis of a place where no angel of God should ever be held captive. AU, sequel to "Brotherly Discord."
