You did a good job of really getting into the voice of each angel. Especially Gabriel and Joshua. Good work!

That was beautiful. Praying is such an intimate thing and it makes the angels seem very, very human; even the ones that are completely unlikable. What makes it even worse is that right now, all of these characters with the exception of Lucifer are dead.
I really enjoyed how different all the prayers are, from the desperate plea for help to bitter accusations, you covered a whole range of emotions and motives for “praying” - although I’m not sure whether you can call what Balthazar said a prayer.

Oh, these were heartbreaking. Even Lucifer's, so full of anger and yet, so sad. Gadreel's scared me, actually, picturing what he was going through at that moment. Gabriel, poor Gabriel, so fed up with everything. And Castiel's, wow, just...Wow.

I wish the show writers hadn't made Michael such a jerk. I love Michael the Archangel (he's one of my favorite saints!) and completely, er, shall I dare say, badass. I wish someone would write a fanfiction about him that portrayed him as he's supposed to be; righteous, awesome, and slam-dunks demons back where they belong! That would make an AMAZING fanfiction! _

Samandriel's and Cas's prayers hit me the most, and Balthazar's might have been offhand, but I can totally feel that there's something else in there (or maybe that's just me).
Now I wonder why my heart's still functioning after reading this angsty angel prayers. You just captured each of them perfectly (to be honest out of all the archangels, Raphael hurt me the most. That fine line between feeling and not feeling anymore... you captured it beautifully).
Brilliant fic over all. Thanks for breaking our hearts a little... or wholly. *thumbs up*

Very interesting, and nicely done.

This was lovely. You had everyone so in character, but showed a side to them no one really sees, especially in the case of Michael and Raphael. I loved how each angel felt different, Lucifer's spite, Gabriel essentially acting out to get attention, Balthazar's offhand comment, and Samandriel's hopefulness. And of course poor Cas before he said yes to Lucifer, always wondering why him? I think this was kind of a really interesting character study on the angels, really, and thank you for sharing it :)

I think I like Castiel's prayer the best, Balthazar's second (cracked me up), and Gabriel's third. I also love how you ended the whole thing with Jared's 'Always Keep Fighting'...that was great! :D

This is beautiful. I love how you got each angel to sound unique and true to what I imagine their inner thoughts we've never seen on screen are like. And dang you for making me feel sorry for some that I want to hate! Just like this week's episode. Balthazar's killed me and is probably my favorite. Samandriel's is second, also touching, and then ending with Cas...oh man, everyone needs a hug so badly.

I think I lost it on Balthazar's. (I must have laughed for a full minute there.) Gadreel's is the one during which I wanted to cry. And Castiel's...always keep fighting part got me right in the feels. These three are my fave, but the rest is awesome as well. Great job, so happy to read from you again. Hope there'll be some more stories soon!
