![]() Author has written 14 stories for Power Rangers, Persona Series, Fallout, and Ultraman. Hi there, I'm Stormasius or Storm if we're familiar. I'm a hopefully friendly writer (And Tea addict) from England. As an apology in advance, I'm not good at keeping to a writing schedule and things usually take a hiatus for a number of reasons but rest assured they'll come back, eventually, and be completed... eventually. I have a numerous amount of interests so there's a good chance you share some of the same but I'm particularly passionate for Mythology and Ancient History. Any questions you want to ask about me, within reason, just go ahead and hit me with a pm, same if you want to know anything about any of my stories etc. Any help or advice you want, or anything else at all, just ask. Alright, making this a little more detailed just for any mildly curious when it comes to my favourite stuff in Fandoms. Starting off with Power Rangers since that's the main thing I write. Power Rangers: Favourite Seasons: 1: Wild Force (First season I watched when it aired and has a special place in my heart) 2: SPD (If Wild Force didn't exist, this'd be number 1, I love this series, mainly for the characters.) 3: Jungle Fury (The amount of love that went into the Martial Arts focus of this series is great to me and they really put the effort in to make it realistic, my guilty pleasure of a season considering it's not always looked on favorably by some.) Favourite Rangers (Male): Reds: (No particular order) Conner McKnight - Dino Thunder (Pretty Strong red in a season that had Tommy Oliver and had a good amount of character flaws to balance his strengths. I enjoyed his rivalry with Trent too.) Sky Tate - SPD (His entire arc throughout SPD was basically him learning and working to become worthy of being a red, breaking down his arrogance and such and earning the role, which I love the idea of for a red. His new Deka Ranger suit is really cool too.) Casey Rhodes - Jungle Fury (I like how much he failed. Starting off with his first morph, he seemed arrogant and overconfident, far from humble like a Pai Zhua or any Martial Artist really should be. But he learned a lot from his mistakes and became a master of his style in the end and even helped Jarrod free himself from Dai Shi, even with the rocky start they had and everything after that.) Jason Lee Scott - MMPR (I've gotta give love for the Original red. He might've not been the best and got outshone by Tommy when he came along but he did set the status quo for all reds to come which is something and was one of many reasons I got into Martial Arts.) Others: (No particular order) Adam Park - MMPR - Turbo (I love Johnny Yong Bosch. He's a great VA in a lot of games and stuff I like and as much as I liked Zack, Adam was personally the better black ranger and his appearances in later seasons have always been a nice addition.) Bridge Carson - SPD (If I could describe why I like him in one word it'd be 'buttery.' I love how weird he is and I don't have the words to explain it any further.) Max Cooper & Danny Delgado - Wild Force (I'm putting these together because of their motto They had this constant saying of 'never give up' that's really spoke to me and stayed from back when I first watched this season and it became the driving theme behind my fanfic PR: Mythos as a sort of homage I guess to my favourite season.) Favourite Rangers (Female): (No particular order) Elizabeth Delgado - SPD (Z has got to be my all time favourite yellow. I liked really Syd too but Z is better in my opinion. I liked her powers and how she was the first to help out Sam when his arc started and how she related to him and eventually saved him. She and Bridge personally had a lot of chemistry in my opinion and it's my headcannon that they have a private relationship after the series ends.) Vida Rocca - Mystic Force (The series she was in had its ups and downs but she was one of the best characters in it for me, alongside Chip of course. Those two always seemed close and stuck together a lot. I mostly remember the story arc when she becomes a Vampire and she and Chip really build as characters through it all. (I shipped them after that) I like her Punk Rock, tomboy style since it's a real change up from the typical Pink ranger too.) Alyssa Enrilé - Wild Force (I liked her kind caring nature when it came to her teammates and how she acted as a mediator for the group sometimes and had a good contrast to Taylor who was a tough almost militaristic personality. Despite that, she could still kick butt with the others and didn't let the team down.) Kendall Morgan - Dino Charge/Dino Supercharge (She shines a lot as an Ally/Mentor before getting the Purple Energem, she does a lot for the team and put herself into danger more times than what was needed when she didn't have the same power as the other rangers, which took courage and it felt like she'd gone through a lot more than any other ranger and really earned her powers. Even then she stuck where she knew she was needed most but still helped out if she was needed on the front lines, which made sense using her character for her intended purpose the majority of the time, even after getting her powers.) Shelby Watkins - Dino Charge/Dino Supercharge (For a season with so many rangers, they did well to give decent development to each ranger (Unlike Kyoryuger, which was basically all about King) I felt like Shelby got the most development outside of a red though, she went from being nothing more than a waitress to being respected by the person she looks up to because she worked hard and progressed to be a reliable person through her actions throughout the series.) Favourite 6th Rangers: 1. Merrick Baliton - Wild Force (I loved the Zen Aku storyline in Wild force, hands down my favourite arc and villain. Having it being a cursed hero who resorted to letting evil into him to defeat the bad guys, only to be cursed himself and sealed away by his friends was a great backstory and I liked his lone wolf attitude that was slowly worn away as the others brought him in as part of the team. His ending where he left to travel around and redeem himself, Zen Aku somehow returning and looking for the same thing was a nice end to it for me.) 2. Cameron Watanabe - Ninja Storm (I like how sarcastic he is and while he's still got this genius nerdy persona, he's still the most physically skillful out of the team. Even though he didn't get to become a Ninja, he still became a ranger and a strong addition to the team. I liked how it played out and he found his new place in the restored Wind Ninja Academy and watched over Marah and Kapri after Lothor was defeated, looking after them because they were family.) 3. Trent Fernandez-Mercer (I liked Trent's whole arc, starting off evil but in a different way to previous versions where he is aware of his actions and chooses to fight against the others, more being influenced than being controlled by evil and then he decided to fight with the others to help save his Dad and keep his promise. I liked the fact that trust and whether or not the others should be worried about his allegiance played in a lot till he proved himself by saving Tommy's life. His suit is also pretty cool too.) Honorary Mention - Heckyl - Dino Supercharge/Beyond the Grid (I haven't read Beyond the Grid but I really enjoyed the dynamic Heckyl brought to Dino Supercharge as the villain with Snide, I felt like Archanon ruined all that though. I liked that he was trying to redeem himself though at the end of the series and they continued that on into the comic where he somehow gains control of the Dark Energem and becomes the Dark Ranger. Should've been Talon Ranger but I love the costume they came up with for Deathryuger even if his character wasn't much and I'm glad it's PR canon.)
