About Me: Oh snap! Did I just post a new story? Is this real life? "But Kari, I thought you were retired." That's a valid statement, nameless speaker. I was retired for nearly two years and I thought I would never return... at the same time, I was heading down a path to become a college professor and look how that turned out! I spent six years teaching and it was great, but I discovered it wasn't the path for me about a year and a half ago and now I'm on this new path and I'm not in grad school. What is the new path called? Not knowing what my life is about but also having a new perspective on life which has taught me that I want to spent my time having fun and doing things that I enjoy. One of those things just happened to be writing fanfiction so here I am, nearly two years later, posting the first chapter to a new story called "Wingman." I hope you guys enjoy it, but I also hope you check out Rena Redhead's new story, "Defying Destiny." Rena is the one that inspired me to get back into writing fanfiction and if you like what I write, you're gonna love her stories even more!
