Words can’t describe how absolutely perfect this was. I’m shocked. This has to one of the greatest teen titans stories I have ever read, if not the best. Great work, would love a spin-off sequel!

This was a really mindblowing story you wrote. Being a fan of the 2003 "Teen Titans" cartoon, I thought that you captured the show's feel pretty well, yet you added layers in this story that the show didn't seem to do enough of. This was indeed a massive undertaking, one I enjoyed. You're an incredibly gifted writer in your own right.

So, a little background before I begin, if that's all right. . .

I first discovered this story earlier this year, and I recall specifically looking up Slade/Robin fics that were NOT slash (no shade to those that enjoy that, it's just certainly not my thing), and lo and behold, yours was one of the first to pop up and since it happened so easily (good stories are never so easy to find) I'm thinking surely this story will have something in it that I don't like, yet, as I read it, I could not put my phone down. I finished in two days flat, with minimal sleep as I couldn't get enough of it. Not only were all characters 100% in-character, but the dialogue was perfect, the setting and atmosphere incredible, and narry a typo to be seen! On top of that, you seem like a really cool person and very funny, someone people want to be friends with;) I had always wanted to read a story taking place in the midst of Apprentice pt 1 and 2, but every one either had the character way too out of character for them, or too short, or too sexual, but this one is so compelling, and completely perfect, could almost be an episode of the series in itself. I adored this, if you can't tell. It almost feels like the original writers for the show are back in the form of this amazing story. Thank you so so much for this. I miss this show, and this story felt like closure, almost. I did note that this was last updated over a decade ago, and since most writers on here quit long before then, of course I assumed you did as well, yet here you are STILL writing? Hats off to you. And I came to find this was your first story? I am in awe. I recommend this to any Teen Titan lover, and many who are not:) Thank you for not keeping it as a one shot (though, it definitely would have been a darn good one), and for continuing it, and doing these great characters justice. Very sorry for the lengthyness of this, but as J.R. Tolkien said; "Anything worth saying takes longer to be said", or something to that effect. Keep writing, you're a true talent! Definitely one of my favorite authors, by far.

Wow, just wow. this was a very well written fic. even though it was a bit repetitive as you rewrote each chapter in both points of view I was very impressed with Slade. he was a perfect balance of deluded and evil while still having a rational thought process that gave home the power to manipulate Robin. I also loved Robin's conflict with himself and trying to balance keeping his friends alive while trying to avoid falling into slades trap. this was an amazing fiction with well written dialogue and a great Balance of the viewpoint of both the protagonist and the antagonist.
