Now, Vegeta has finally got himself people who would practically smile, grin, beam, when they think of his name and when he is present. A bit of a change for him, but he so more than deserves it. Feel the "uselessness" and shame no more, Vegeta.

I am surprised this was your first dbz story. It sounded very much along the lines of the canon. It was very sweet but in a subtle way. It brought me back to that last episode from the Cell saga when everybody goes home and Vegeta stays behind reflecting by himself.

I really liked that this one shot was set after cell. Toriama kind off hinted Vegeta came back to CC because of his newlyfound feelings for his son but I also think it was because Vegeta had finally become a man. A man protects his family and I think thats what you were getting at here, am I on the right track? I would like to think he also realized he cared for Bulma as well but that is speculation. Anyway you did a great job of expressing his personality conflicting with his emotions. That is after all why we love the Saiyan Prince. Keep them comming..please!
