Hi there! I'm ElementLegend (but most call me Element, or, in the case of certain T-Saucers, Empire/Umpire/Whatever else they accidentally called me. Not that I mind.) I use they/them pronouns. The aromantic Tsuruno avatar comes from a little side blog I run on tumblr called vividhappyspace, so I made it! Anyway... How I Write: I write a lot of dialogue in my stories, and I don't like description too much. I can write background, but it's not a focus. I do ship pretty often, however, I don't usually ship romantic parings in my writing. It's just not my thing. I tend to be fast paced with my writing. I don't slow down to tell the reader the details most of the time, but I do love adding in some good description depending on the story. I also love writing thought processes. I write with mostly correct grammar, and almost always write with correct spelling. Sometimes, I write something just because it is really fun to write, even if it's a horrible piece of work. I don't usually write romance, but if I do, it will be a) mostly in the Trauma Center, Danganronpa, possibly Ace Attorney, and Fullmetal Alchemist fandoms, b) be very sweet and fluffy unless the two characters are arguing, and c) not be very well written, most likely. I'm not a romance writer, and I probably never will be. I’m also pro not going to write romance anymore if I can help it because that’s just not what I want to write. I also like writing crossovers, too! Most stuff I write is K-T, but if I rate something M, there's probably some heavy violence, violent and/or sudden death, and maybe gore involved, but no sexual content. That's just not the kind of thing I write, or want to write, so don't ask! Only a handful of fics I write will be rated M, though, so don't worry too much about it! That's how I write. Most of the time, anyway. There are and will be exceptions, but the above is what a person should normally expect from one of my stories. Update: 12/3/19 Hello everyone! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Long story short, I’ve been busy with college, and I’ve been dealing with an episode of depression for over a year now that has been making the symptoms of my other four mental disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, ADHD, and autism) much more prominent and problematic. I haven’t had much time to write or work on stories, and when I have, they’ve been exclusively original stories. I have a tendency to abruptly decide to take on huge projects and challenges, and I usually quit halfway through because either I’m too busy to seriously work on it, I lose interest in it, or I just don’t know where to start or how to go about it. Despite this consistently happening, I still do it for two reasons, one being a really bad reason and one being a really good reason: I know I have the ability to do something, therefore I should do it; I want to do the thing, I’m excited about doing the thing, and it’d be really cool if I could do it, so I’m going to do it! This is happening yet again, because I want to do the MilWordY challenge in 2020. For those of you who don’t do NaNoWriMo or have never heard of MilWordY, MilWordY is a challenge where you write 1,000,000 words in a year (that’s one million). There’s a lot of things I want to write: original fiction (both short and long), lyrics, comics, visual novels and other video games, etc.. The main rule I’ll be using is that the words I write must fall under creative writing, which can include creative writing projects I have to do for school (although if I’m extremely panicked and way behind by the time August hits, I might include a major essay from one of my majors as part of my word count (yes, I am double majoring)). I then had the realization that I have a lot of unfinished fanfiction stories on here, so why not try and finish them? I’ll be writing a lot, I’ll be writing fiction, I’ll be finishing a lot of old fanfiction, and the large amount of people who are following certain stories of mine *cough* “All I Can Say” *cough* will finally get an ending after 7/8 years. (There will definitely be a difference in writing style for all of these stories, since I started all of them years ago with the exception of ”Our Long Roads Home,” but ”All I Can Say” is probably going to be the most noticeable.) I’ll also be writing some new long fanfics, and I’ll definitely be attempting TSOS and possibly SOSS again. I have to win at some point, right? Anyway, I’m going to try my best with this challenge, and hopefully some fanfic will be finished in the process! Thank you for leaving reviews, favoriting, following, and liking my fanfiction. Hopefully I won’t let y’all down! - ElementLegend Stories That Will Be Finished: - Yesterday's Hero (Ace Attorney/Kingdom Hearts AU) - Candy Hearts (Ace Attorney, 100 Themes) - Never Going Down (Ace Attorney, Platonic KristophxApollo) - Monday Afternoon Investigations (Ace Attorney) - Of Emergencies and Vitals (Trauma Center: New Blood, 100 Themes, ValeriexMarkus) - Blurred Flowers (Trauma Team, Platonic GabrielxTomoe) - Believable Hazards (Trauma Center: Under The Knife/Winnie The Pooh) - All I Can Say (Bones/Castle) - Past, Present, Future (Zero Time Dilemma, Carlos/Junpei/Akane) - Our Long Roads Home (Final Fantasy IV, 100 Themes) - Life Is A Three-Way Street (The World Ends With You, Platonic KariyaxRhyme) New Stories That I Might Be Writing: - Several 100 Themes Challenges from various fandoms, probably including TWEWY, Umineko, and Magia Record; possibly including Ace Attorney, Idolmaster, Pokémon, Psycho Pass, Touhou, Love Live, and My Hero Academia, among other series - The Non-Stop Turnabout (Ace Attorney/Hamilton, Platonic BurrxHamilton, Platonic ApolloxKristoph) What happens when two pairs of lawyers switch time periods, and have to defend cases and deal with people they know nothing about? - Sakuraba Switch (Idolm@ster SideM/The World Ends With You Crossover) Kaoru Sakuraba wakes up in the middle of Shibuya Crossing, with no clue how he got there. He ends up being partnered with the ever-elusive Joshua, and the 26-year-old doctor-turned-idol is not going to put up with Joshua’s nonsense. He puts up with enough nonsense from Teru and Tsubasa, after all. Meanwhile, Teru and Tsubasa come into work one day only to find an orange-haired teen with the same last name as their missing unitmate muttering something about a ”Reaper’s Game” and a girl named Shiki. Who is Neku Sakuraba, and how did he get here? And how will Dramatic Stars prepare for their upcoming show without Kaoru? | |||||||
